  1. Thought it was clear after he retired AJ that they hadn't a clue what to do with him, hence the hastily arranged match with Rollins at Wrestlemania. Oba Femi will go the same way in 12/18 months or so.
  2. Yeah I thought this. Who is going to be the Challenger going into Full Gear which is one of there oldest and biggest shows? There are plenty of fun matches out there for Ospreay but who is a legitimate challenger and a threat for them for the main event of Full Gear? Out of the lads in the CC match I could only see Okada (which we have already seen on free TV) or Copeland (which feels far too early in his retirement run) that could be seen as marquee matches for the champ.
  3. Presume building to Death Riders vs DCF at Blood and Guts then seeing as they have given DCF a couple of wins over them recently?
  4. I don't think anyone is suggesting it, apart from probably Tony Khan. I think he's probably winning the Owen though and going for the title at All In though based on his spiel last night.
  5. I reckon Adam Copeland is getting the Owen Cup/All In build next year based on that.
  6. Parker Boudreaux. Looked a tiny bit like Brock Lesnar and got the Heyman seal of approval, renamed "Harland" on NXT but was released within a year and never made it to the main roster. Went on to AEW as part of that memorable stable "The Trustbusters", and later part of Swerves crew with the aforementioned Trench. Must have only wrestled a handful of TV matches before being released.
  7. Also "Jesus" Carlito's bodyguard. Signed November 2004, had one match with John Cena in December 2004, got injured, then released in April 2004.
  8. Does anyone remember Abyss's "brother" Judas Mesias? Came in to a load of hype, got injured for a few months, faced Abyss on two (I think?) PPV's and then was released again shortly after.
  9. Marty Jannetty is a good one for this in his late WWE years. Signed in March 2006 after impressive showings Kurt Angle and a Rockers reunion against La Resistance, released in July 2006 without making another appearance. Signed again in September 2006, released in December 2006 without making an appearance. Think he did end up having another couple of matches a few years later without being signed full time again, remember one against Mr Kennedy.
  10. I know it's not really the same thing as I guess he would have been in development for a while, but who was that big guy who teamed with The New Day once on Raw a couple of years ago and then was never seen again? Think he had some kind of domestic abuse charge against him but can't think of his name for the life of me.
  11. Enjoyed Reigns vs LA for what it was, despite being so predictable thought it was a decent WWE style match. Didn't bother with the Womens MITB match because life is short enough as it is. It's going to come to the point soon where they have no idea what to do with Oba Femi, I know it's set for Mania with him winning the Rumble but I would actually like to see it earlier in front of a proper crowd. Womens title match was just there, neither good or bad. The mens MITB was horrible, this concept needs to go away for a while. The Evans spot was one of the worst I have ever seen, the majority of the crowd didn't even get up off there seats for it.
  12. The Smackdown tag division is absolutely woeful.
  13. Cody Rhodes needs to wrestle with his Street Fighter hair, would make him 100% more interesting already.
  14. I imagine if there is a wild card in the CC match it would probably be MJF?
  15. Hadn't thought about Sheamus as a death rider, interesting thought especially with the history with Claudio and what a good team they were. Bucks vs Sheamus/Claudio at Full Gear for the Tag Titles I could definitely get on board with.
  16. Not particularly that bothered, but thought Jericho/Wayne was happening on this? Or is there a Collision taping afterwards too?
  17. The DCF could muster a half decent team too with Okada leading it with Fletcher & Knight. Presume you then put the a couple of the big lads in then two from Davis, Doyle, Archer and Wardlow. Would just be very predictable as you wouldn't see them winning at all.
  18. Zayn, Owens, Punk, Orton, Rhodes & Williams 2026's version of "The Smackdown Six". I can't put myself through naming Gargano in there.
  19. Don't tell him this, he will get even more confused.
  20. Looks great on paper, although very predictable results wise I feel. Yeah maybe, wonder if Ospreay/Okada could kick that off on Tuesday?
  21. I presume we're not going to get United Empire vs Death Riders at Blood and Guts now? I just don't see how people boo the Death Riders going forward after this past week. Be interesting to see what they rush through for that.
  22. Clockwork Carnage definitely reminds me of 2006-07 TNA.
  23. I love this image, Pac has that look of "what the fuck are you hugging for?" on him. Not watched it all yet, but from what I have seen it's brilliant. Mox/Orange was fantastic. I'll watch the rest later, but as said AEW hit a home run on tribute shows every time, and lets hope there are no more for a long time yet.
  24. It looks ok to me, have to have beans though. It looks like a very southern fry up, don't ask me why it just does.
  25. Only working with what he has I suppose, but Joe Hendry, good grief. Can't be long until he starts getting boo'd out of the building.
