215 in WWF and 225 in WCW I always thought, that's how Benoits and Disco Infernos and La Parkas could challenge.
The original cutoff point for the WWF Light Heavyweight Title was 225. I only remember that because of the Christian 'chicken suit' episode of Sunday Night Heat.
Â
I think it was 215 originally, back in 1997. I'm sure Brian Christopher was billed at being at 212 pounds or so and had the heaviest billed weight.

One of the Cyber Sunday PPV's was awful, but even after checking Wikipedia, I cant remember which one it was. I'd probably vote for December to Dismember if I'd actually seen it. Thus I'll vote for:

Great American Bash 2004 (Chavo Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio was actually very good though)

Two questions brahs.
Â
1. Was there ever a WCW Tag-Team called "Men at Work"? I've got this recollection of one.
2. How is NOAH doing after Misawa's death? How is Akitoshi Saito getting on over there?
Â
Thank you.
Â
Chris Kanyon and Mark Starr were "Men at Work"

Yesterday, I watched some of the Multi Tag Survivor Series Tag Match from the 2nd Annual Survivor Series, up til I think where the Young Stallions got eliminated and then fell asleep and was strange seeing the PoP as daces, but also getting a huge Face pop into the bargain.
Â
So, why and when did they turn them heel and subsequently not turn them face again before or, indeed after they split.
Â
Was this because Legion of Doom, were in negotiations/ or had signed come around split time, too many power and paint wrestlers, Backstage politics. Demolitions change to faces or what?
Â
How long were they faces too?
Â
Â
They turned at the end of that match, although it was a bit confusing. It came down to Powers of Pain vs Demolition & Conquistadors. Mr Fuji (managing Demolition) intentionally opened the ropes with his cane and Smash fell through them and got counted out. Ax and Smash game Fuji a bit of a pasting and left.
Â
Powers of Pain then leave the ring themselves and help Fuji up. Meanwhile, the Conquistadors are jumping for joy in the ring thinking they've won. With Fuji now in the corner of the PoP, they re-etner the ring and win the match. Afterwards, they parade Fuji around on their shoulders.
Â
Demolition then return and have a brawl with the PoP.
Â
End result: Powers of Pain turn heel, Demolition turn face and Fuji stays heel. Although the way it appeared on the PPV, it did look a bit like Fuji had turned face to manage the PoP.

Was Zack Sabre Sr. a wrestler?
Â
Yes he is/was. He was on a BCW show in Kilmarnock approx 6 months ago against Kid Fite. It was a very good match.

Lanny Poffo cuts a promo on Brutus Beefcake regarding their rematch from Royal Rumble 1990, which will be held on June 18th of this year in Canada.
Â
I don't know why I never ever bothered to check if this was true, but years ago I read some internet story that said Lanny Poffo had been done on some child porn charges or something. Obviously now completely false, but only your mention of his name here made me go and check that.
Â
I like the wig on Lanny Poffo on that promo. The child porn rumour was completely false, and was started by RSPW.
