  1. Victor was also involved in The Arrival. I'm wondering if this is giving Slendy enough airtime for someone from Hollywood to rub their hands together. There's a lot of fan films about, we've thrown the idea around for a while but our idea ended up being the huge plot twist in The Arrival

  2. The Marble Hornets boys were heavily involved in the latest Blue Isle game of Slender (The arrival). The writing was handed over to them and I think they did a good job, just a shame the game was so short but there's more coming soon.

I love Slender. The first time I played it I became addicted, and Dyllan caught me playing it once. Was he scared? Nope, just burst out laughing behind me making me jump 6ft in the air. Then he started playing it and for a 3 year old he amazed my friends, his pages record stands at 6 for the original game and 4 for The Arrival. I was hesitant to let him play at the start obviously, but seeing how much enjoyment he got from it (he never made it anywhere near the gory bit in The Arrival) I couldn't keep it from him. He loves Slender so much, he has requested many times to go as Slenderman to fancy dress parties, something that now after this story I think is a really really bad idea :/

I didn't want to believe this story when it first surfaced. If you know the word creppypasta, you know what it is right? I thought it sounded like perfect viral marketing for a new patch or something :(

    ETA: The

with them scare the shit out of me. People actually think it's real.

    EDIT 2:

  3. This might have been posted, but if not:

Utsuro-Bune - UFO in old Japan

There are apparently three accounts of this story: a group of travellers discovered a strange vessel washed up on the shore, containing an unusual-looking (to them) woman, carrying a strange box. According to the scrolls that were written and illustrated at the time, the vessel was marked with similar symbols to those found on the Rendlesham UFO.

Fabulous! And that website takes me straight back to 2001

    Never seen this video before,

He says there were two surviving aliens from the Roswell incident. I want to believe him so much, I'm trying to find another source that says there were 2 survivors rather than the usual 1. Also looking into the 'interviews' but nothing from the articles sit right. The videos on YouTube are good fun though.

Link to a google docs version of The Alien Interview.

  4. I find it very suspicious that this thread was allowed to drop off of the front page.

This is one of the most entertaining, nonsensical things I've read recently. Conspiracy theories about conspiracy theorists. There was supposed to be a 10-30 million participant rally to take down the governing system of the USA yesterday, which obviously only actually attracted in the hundreds, maybe. Turns out that it was a government plot, of course.

I opened that page and the first thing I saw was

This blog documents my journey back to God
  5. Fructose is processed by the liver and if you're taking in too much fructose the liver will make the excess into fats and send it off into the bloodstream.

Fructose content in fruits and vegetables isn't a dangerous amount, but if you were eating huge amounts of fruit for every meal every day you'll have a problem.

It's practically impossible to eat the sheer amount of fruit you'd require to overeat fructose.

It's also worth bearing in mind that fruit takes a while to digest, meaning the fructose hits the liver slowly which allows the body to deal with the fructose.

In short, fruit is good for you.

That's what I was saying :/ When I say huge amounts of fruits I'm talking a larger amount than your stomach could hold.

  6. Fructose is processed by the liver and if you're taking in too much fructose the liver will make the excess into fats and send it off into the bloodstream.

Look out for things like corn syrup and agave nectar, both have high levels of fructose so should be used sparingly.

  7. I'm only at stage now of trusting a fart. Those starting Sunday, start early

How long did it take to kick in for you? I drunk the juice at 8PM and nothing really happened until an hour ago. I've been about four or five times since then and the rumbling in my guts is making me think that I've got a long night ahead of me. :-(

Did you eat anything for dinner or have a big lunch? The more food you have in you the longer it will take I've found.

  8. Just seen Kook's post. I'm calling bullshit on those before and after pics.. That's the same before pics you posted from the time when you initially lost your weight before!

Yeah...why, what before pic did you guys want lol?

Also I thought that was the point of before and after pics :/ I'll find the one I posted beginning of last year.

Another edit: I tore my bicep yesterday :( It hurts but not as much as I thought it would. When I touch where it's actually torn though JESUS :( It was weird, suddenly yesterday afternoon a small but super dark bruise came up. I thought that's odd, then in the space of about an hour my whole arm was red and swollen. Now back to just a big old dark bruise :/

  9. Homeopaths...

    Let me stop you there.

I'm with you on them, I think they're fucking nuts. Like I said I came to my own conclusions from what I was trained to do, and it's down to what works for your own body.

I've been told by so many that they could cure my MS with crystals and 'Qi' techniques. Saying that, a lot more people have told me Jesus can cure it :/

  10. When there is a build up of mucus it can inflame mucus membranes (catarrh). Most commonly it's from eating a diet consisting of mainly processed foods. When food isn't digested properly food in the digestive tracts start fermenting and can cause various type of catarrh, all of which can block you up a bit and the vicious cycle starts. Mucus is very important to the digestive system, preventing infections and damage, but where there is a build up that's when it can cause problems. Homeopaths use the term 'Mucus Plaque' for a harmful type of layer to this build up but it's not been proven. For me, I looked at evidence and from my training as a continence nurse (yes I am qualified for this...shit) and I came to the conclusion that the nutrients that I put in my body can't be absorbed properly if there are chunks of mucus caught up in there. And that's why I gave it a go and my insides felt great.

I'm not saying it's a miracle cure for diseases, or amazing weightloss (I just added about mine that time because I thought it was fascinating) or that it will cure all digestive and continence problems. It was merely a suggestion for everyone who said that they couldn't poo.

  11. Exactly. Your body can't digest your food properly if your system is full of catarrh and the motion of the ocean down there can't work to it's fullest, it's simple biology.

Why would your system be full of catarrh? I've never heard of catarrh build up in the digestive system. I can guarantee you that your stinkhole is more than capable of processing your snot.

Catarrh does build up in your intestines and sometimes it can't pass through.

I don't know why everyone's coming at me, all I did was suggest something to help you poo

  12. Yes, prunes are high in fibre. Doctors recommend them old people to help them poo. It's what prunes are known for, so downing a pint of their juices will make you shit everywhere. It's not some magic science.

Someone make a thread where we all eat 25 satsumas and spend the next day buckled over the bog.

Yes but Chest asked what it was that dislodged the crap that normal shitting wont. I answered. Prune juice doing what prune juice does along with the acidity of the apple juice. When the hell did I liken it to a magic science?

In Kook's defence, a lot of people have absolutely terrible diets nowadays and their digestive systems don't work as God intended, meaning faeces builds up in their system and can even back up into the lower intestines.

And imagine some of the fatties on here fall into that category, sorry lads.

In such cases, downing a ton of prune juice and getting the whole thing moving spectacularly will have some health benefits. But only due to the fact the prune juice is a laxative.

Exactly. Your body can't digest your food properly if your system is full of catarrh and the motion of the ocean down there can't work to it's fullest, it's simple biology.
