As you will know the last few weeks have been a state of flux for the company. Changes of shareholding, directorship and infrastructure. 

There was a buyer in place that was going to purchase the company and move forward, but during their due diligence process, further elements came into play at no fault of the potential buyer.

Today I have taken responsibility as 100% owner and the only director of 1PW LTD, and I feel it is in the best interests of our amazing fans, colleagues and the companies creditors, for me to push forward with the brand. 

I can humbly accept that mistake were made, and I am eager to fix them as my first priority. 

I will be communicating with and working with the companies creditors directly going forward. 

From Monday a new dedicated customer service email will be published, and fans with outstanding merchandise and ticketing enquiries will all be dealt with as a matter of urgency. 

October 28th will be going ahead, and I will have more news for you next week regarding that. 

I want to wish all previous shareholders and directors all the best in their future endeavours, and most importantly I’d like to thank the fantastic 1PW fanbase for your support and understanding whilst I take on the massive task ahead

There are now 4 shareholders with 33% interest in 1PW. One being Gauntley.

on the first post the like of Cultaholic & PE Torch were falling over themselves to announce its return despite 1PWs history, but turn a blind eye when something like this happens. Sums them up. 

Looks like they're done. Gauntley has removed his socials, including some 1PW pages and the ownership and interest control has changed on companies houses. 
 

All while leaving people thousands out of pocket. 

432.000 viewers this week - half of the audience of week one and less than Rampage drew. 

As a note - Jimmy Havoc has been working backstage for at least a month at Progress shows. 
 

He let Paul Robinson back, and now they're all crawling out.

I know 4 people who haven't been fully paid. Dozens who chased their money and got it after threatening to go public. 
 

This man is a con artist and always has been. 

Hearing that several people were short changed and some are still waiting on their fees both wrestlers and behind scenes team from last show. 
 

Anyone who trusted this man again. Well that's on them. 

Enjoyed the JYD one, but wasn't much meat on the bone. A lot of wrestlers did lots of drugs in that era, he was No exception. 
 

Candido/Sunny felt like it barely got going. Should have been a two partner with lots more focus on Tammy's fuck ups. 
 

Doink has been best by far so far; but feel the Jannetty ep will eclipse all. 

Hearing he's passed away, no cause given yet. 
 

RIP - will always be remembered as a part of one of the most popular periods in wrestling history. 

Think I'm in the minority here - that was a boring AF show for me. 
 

Dark Order / Hangman are they friends? Who honestly cares at this point. Will likely be forgotten about for months again. 
Bucks are cold as ice. 
 

Jack Perry needs a mouthpiece. His promos are the shits. 
 

Most of the action (outside of Orange Cassidy, who is still great) was plodding or shoddy. 
 

Thought it was a good show, and the 2 hours flew by. With a cracking Dynamite, outstanding Smackdown and this it's been a good week! 
 

About half way through I realised a key reason why I enjoyed it far more - Kevin Kelly is streets ahead of Excalibur as a PBP commentator. Relaxed, made good points and told stories well. And didn't have to hear "swing and a miss" once. 

Wade Keller is reporting that something is about to come out about CM Punk that's "not going to help matters" and "it's one of those weeks for AEW."

Tom and his partner Claire have worked pretty closely with the APPG throughout, and given that Claire has been doing great work in highlighting similar stories of abuse in gymnastics for years, they're the sort of people that the APPG should involve themselves with on issues like Speaking Out - experts in the field, with a provable track record, and enough knowledge of and investment in wrestling to know how best to apply that knowledge. 

 

There's plenty to criticise the APPG for what they are or aren't doing, or the approach they're taking, but too much of what gets said about them is gossip or half-remembered nonsense that helps nobody.

As someone looking in - posing with the Progress title in publicity photos sends out the wrong message. 
 

Not half remembered nonsense at all. 

They were doomed when in their first press release they posed for photos with the Progress roster, despite Progress going through huge scrutiny at that exact time for not acting on speaking out. 
 

Can't find it anywhere not even on watch wrestling. Has anyone uploaded it anywhere?

Everywhere seems to have stopped stocking AEW figures - last set that made it over here was the one with Jade Cargill, Brian Cage etc in it.

Even U.K. independents haven't had last couple of sets I'm afraid. 

It was alleged by the victim that she was taken on a trip to Germany at 16 years old by Dan Edler who got her drunk. 
Her and Paul got close and they ended up kissing and continued flirting when they got home. His partner then found out & put an end to it. He would be roughly 30 at the time. 
 

His defence didn't deny any of it took place, said he was drunk including in his match and that they had "got close" but didn't mention the kiss. 
He says he contacted her parents when they got back & put an end to it 

Matt Cardona is publicly calling out 1PW for not paying him as agreed before promoting his upcoming appearance.

Much better than I anticipated- got to see this doing 60 - 70 k now which is amazing. Well done AEW

The last kickstarter they did nearly failed until they added a popular look of Macho Man. 
 

For £220 I got 3 Ultimate Edition figures - Diesel, Macho, an announcer table, and Doink the Clown, a ring, various ring skirts and an LED Entrance stage.

For over £500 it's two Ultimates and a stage. 
 

They must think people are stupid.

Many reasons why this failed- 

* Pricing international customers at a much higher rate than American ones. U.K/Ireland and Canada all have to pay close to double for the set. 
 

* It's far too big. Very few people will have room to display it. Plus you'd also need to then buy the ring for another £200 in a few months. 
 

* choices of figures are really underwhelming. You have the history of WCW Nitro to choose from and you go with Red & Yellow Hulk (which is a re paint) another repaint of Rey Mysterio and Ultimate Warrior in jeans. Plus the Steiner they chose is the most boring of its looks. 
 

What I can't figure out with this Punk & pals on Saturday and the Elite on a Wednesday thing is what about PPVs? Surely they will be in the same building and interact then?
