  1. Anyone else remember him being attacked in the 90s in Newcastle?

Savident said he was giving him acting lessons in his hotel. Everyone else said he got beat up by a rent boy.

Think he has his throat slashed too from what I remember

  2. The CMLL angle was amateur at best

Toni Storm was / is great, but that angle ain't going anywhere

    Young Bucks are awful actors

    Sting is great

Not feeling any love for Page / Swerve round 300. Especially after it took a year seemingly for Page to beat a jobber.

  3. The fact that the last 3 pages seems to be arguing about a WWE angle from 20 years ago seems fit for a promotion that has not just lost its way but but no longer has access to Google maps.

Can't say I enjoyed much AEW last year despite being a big fan in 2019 - 2021 - and this weeks Dynamite was the pits. No direction, no real stories. Just going through the motions. It ain't ever gonna change is it?!

  4. Bullet Club Gold were the hottest heel group in AEW a few months ago. Jay White was challenging for the World title.

the Acclaimed were a hugely over comedy mid card act a few months ago.

Now they have merged for seemingly no reason and called - the "Bang Bang Scissor Gang"

This is 2019 Vince levels of shite

  5. First Dynamite in forever I really enjoyed.

Great to see so many faces from 2019/2020 making an appearance and for logical upwards movement for the likes of Hangman, Swerve, Anna Jay and Hook.

Only negatives were Jericho & Sammy. I don't ever need to see either on TV again. And the Undisputed Kingdom is utter crap.

I saw this around the end of last year. Along with the news that Fight Club ending. It was said at the time that even though he's left the running of the company, Dallas was still the owner. Has that part changed?

Yes. It says he's completely left and Grey is sole owner

  7. ICW have announced that creator Mark Dallas had left the company with Duncan Grey (previous Co owner) now fully in charge and a group including Jack Jester running creative.

I personally think the WWE tie in really damaged them as a brand and they haven't recovered so hopefully this marks a new direction .

  8. Most of the reliable people who were calling this out 4 years ago never mentioned assault just the rest and they tagged Khan, so he knew.
I haven't seen anyone I'd trust say it was an assault.

You think Jericho will wrestle tonight? Could be pretty risky from the crowd.

"Kylie Rae" chant would be great.

This could have mega consequences. If Tony ignored this, AEW is pretty fucked. If Meltzer ignored this (Jericho being a long time leaker), The Observer is fucked. Damn, I feel a tidal wave coming.

Jericho has a lot of mega annoying fans online though, they'll be a lot of defenders.

Honestly, I think the Observer & Meltzer is long done. I was a subscriber and loved his audio shows for two decades and un subscribed 2 years ago after Meltzer & Alvarez on a message board that I was paying for would go after anyone who dared critique AEW and specifically the Elite.

Wrestling "journalists" are the worst, and they may now be the most rotten out there.

If Khan did know he's fucked too. Darby Allin, the way women have spoke out, hiring Flair, and now this.

I don't think the average non watcher of wrestling would say it's dull, boring etc. Stupid, childish, ridiculous etc but not really in keeping with the point of the thread.

Mine would probably be walking, I walk Minimum 30,000 steps a day, generally takes me about 4 hours (weekends in one go, weekdays split into 2 hours 1 hour 1 hour. Obviously walking is fine but people can't understand how I can walk for that long and say how boring it must be etc. I love it, obv I've got podcasts I listen to, so I find it perfect. It's a lot of walking  and at quite a fast past too so I get it.

Obv I wouldn't say walking is boring per se, but to the extent I do it then I get why people wouldn't dream of doing it, not just from.a fitness stand point but just trying to stay interested for that long. Fuck it  I love nothing more than getting up at 5.30 on a Saturday, doing my 30k and being home by 10am to do what I want with the day all in the knowledge I've already burnt over 2000 calories.

I'm the same. For something to do during lockdown I started trying to beat Martin Lewis step record as a target.
I lost close to 3 stone in the first year by doing 25k - 30k a day.

4 years on its become a routine. I can listen to podcasts, watch wrestling on my phone, do them during work calls where I'm just listening, etc.

Buying an Apple Watch helped too, as I can set work outs and track calories on it.
I still do it regardless of being ill, other obligations, hungover (those are the hardest days!) and even on holiday and long haul travel.

  11. Few thoughts ....

    - Poor Ricky Starks. He tried his hardest here but the Golden Twats did their best to cut his legs off.

    - Remember when Jericho would fuck off for a year and come back fresh. He really needs to do that. He is stale and it's staring to tarnish his legacy.

    - No idea why they are presenting Omega as R Truth knock off. He should be used as a special attraction and in serious feuds.

    - Was on a par with the Edge / Starks promo for me. Copeland was an unprofessional as his fellow Canandians.

  12. There was a portrait yesterday morning on  Twitter that someone does every year of celeb deaths. And Andre Brauger was on it. So I googled him, still alive.

imagine my shock this morning when he had died.

I now can't find the tweet or picture but very very strange!
