There is a promoter in Newcastle who genuinely offered to pay his talent in hot dogs from a slow cooker after one show. 
 

Which is a step up from some of his payments. 

After this dismal last run I can't say I'd even want him to return to WWE. 
He looks years past his best. 
 

If he can check his ego, and come in somewhat like he came into AEW initially then fair enough, but I highly doubt that would happen.

Solution is simple. 
 

Stop working for Gauntley and stop buying tickets for his events. 

At least a dozen wrestlers and even more production staff have said that's bollocks and they've not been paid. And have all now been blocked.

Punk used to come to weekly TV with Starbucks gift cards and give them to all the women wrestlers as presents and eventually management asked him to stop. That was noted by a few female talent last year during his first run.

Bit late to the party but watched all of Barry season 4 on a long haul flight this week - wow what a show! 
 

Some parts of previous seasons it didn't really feel like it was going anywhere but the way they tied it all up was brilliant and the final episode was outstanding.

After they had been out scooped (again) Bryan Alvarez tweeted that Miro and Punk had got into too. 
 

Which was quickly dismissed by everyone as "bants" between the two. 
 

Meltzer and Alvarez haven't been relevant or accurate ever since they tied their mast fully to the Elite and were no longer impartial.

- Posts that he wants people to come so that he can use ticket money to pay off debts from previous shows 

- Starts an online raffle for a tenner to win tickets for his show 

-  A handful of people suddenly get paid 

- Dan Edler (yes, him) reveals he is behind the payments to people and is seemingly now part of 1PW. Or so he claims. 

Him going in on Hangman's figures being "peg warmers" is an odd choice of petty rubbish to go in on. All AEW figures are peg warmers.

Perhaps Phil is going round Targets and Walmarts on his days off making five bar gates of each action figure he sees.

They're actually being really smart. Playing the waiting game for Punk to either walk or blow up and by ignoring him makes him totally look like the one in the wrong. 

PWTorch reports at the Dynamite that Punk had appeared shortly after his return, and Punk confronted Nemeth in the locker room. Sources told the media outlet that “Punk cornered Nemeth in the locker room, got inches from his face, and angrily and aggressively asked if they had a problem or if they needed to settle things outside.”
 

Offering people outside. What an utter idiot this man is. A shadow of his former self. 

Haha - Jeez no wonder Phil is doing what he wants. 
And there is no upside. His feuds since coming back have been naff, his character is all over the place, he's out of shape, and fans don't seem to care one jot about him anymore.

Yeah. I don't get why TK is bending over backwards for Punk. 
He's far too Dickish to be a face, too pandering sometimes to be a heel. He's just there. Total lack of interest from the crowd too when he was announced. 
 

I think Phil has soured everyone on him post Brawl Out now and aside from a feud with the elite he will just tread water until his next major outburst .

He was flown in to Greensboro to do a promo and then told at the last minute not to enter the venue and they would film it another time. 
Put down to Punk not allowing him. 
 

Hence the weird post show Punk promo on Hangman. 

On Observer Radio Dave lists Matt Hardy and Christopher Daniels as two other people who in previous weeks who were removed from Collision. Dave notes Daniels is HEAD OF TALENT RELATIONS and it happened to him. Bryan says it happened to Ryan Nemeth not once, but twice.
 

TK has lost the plot if he is allowing a talent (Punk) with no management or booking position to decide who does or doesn't appear on the TV show. 
 

AEW is about to do one of the biggest stadium shows of all time and feels colder than ever. 
Reason - awful booking. 
 

Outside of MJF / Cole (and don't get me started on why they're in a pre show tag match) there is nothing shaping up for All In or All Out that I remotely interested in. 
The angles and product is just all over the place at the moment and Im not sure how they are going to get that momentum back. 

Comes out and does a tight five of stand-up based around a succession of punchlines that rhyme with ‘pimping ain’t easy.’ Comes across like he never consumes any non-wrestling media, worse than Vince even. Even the crowd of drunken frat boys don’t really go for it.
 

He did the same bit in his U.K. stand up tour a decade ago. It wasn't much better then either. 

Walker is an interesting choice for the Newcastle. 
Imagine the worst part on the outskirts of your city / town with very little transport to and from and it and that's Walker. 
 

Lots of much better venues so a strange decision.

Terry Gordy / Executioner figure was my highlight - one I never thought would happen.
 

For such a short run (maybe 3 matches) crazy that Executioner has two figures spanning decades apart.  

Gauntleys other promotion - Pro Wrestling Zero (which does smaller scale shows) has cancelled this weekends show with just a few days notice. 
 

Hopefully fans get refunded  for it.

Haha, what 'company'? Do they even own the ring? Its an excel spreadsheet on his laptop (which sums dont add up.)

They hired all equipment including the ring so no. Outside of the USP and belts there isn't much to buy.
