  1. Had a bit of campy evening the other night with the missus, watched Gayle Tuesday on Living. I'd seen a bit of her before, years ago, this brand new programme was a reality show spoof. It featured Louie Spence, Paul O'Grady, Ainsley Harriott and Toyah. Good for a chuckle.

After that we watched Lauren Harries, boy child genius antique expert, who's now a lady trying her hand at different jobs. You can it catch on obscure and low-budget but sometimes surprisingly good channel Showcase (Sky 201). Lauren is bloody funny.

Showcase also airs a few interesting programmes for the inquiring mind, filling a gap since the demise of Controversial TV recently. The paradigmshift.tv slot hosts some good programmes, then there's RichPlanet which is right up my street, set on a virtual flying saucer, where Rich interviews people on various alternative view topics. Most recently interviewed was Ian R Crane, who used to work in the oil industry and has insiders view of world events especially the 1st Iraq war and invasion of Kuwait.

  2. I recall from another programme about Scientology in the past 5 years (not Sweeney's) with the Scottish Sikh comedian (?) there is an already an existing branch of Scientology indepently of the CoS operating in Europe.

I say gotta up until seeing last night's programme the whole Xenu thing I thought was simply made up to discredit Scientology, but hearing it from that actor who reached the OTIII level made me see it differently.

Saw this by chance via advert on youtube:

    CoS fires back at BBC

  3. Didn't know if this perhaps warranted its own thread or maybe even putting in the Kenny McBride bashing thread, but did anyone watch the Scientology documentary tonight?

I wasn't entirely sure that this was anywhere near the revelatory show that the first one was, and it was a bit disappointing that most of the points made were already covered by South Park years before. I would have liked more about their drug rehabilitation programs and their anti-psychiatry stances too, so it was a bit of a hollow effort, really. I almost got the feeling it was banking on another Tommy Davis performance.

I watched it, since not being active in Scientology I did see things a little different. I guess one of the reasons why I've stepped back from it is the money aspect, I have very little and I believe if you genuinely want to help someone and have means to do so, it should be done out of the kindness of your heart not for financial gain, especially if you are a religious organization. Alternatively the donation should be what the individual can afford, as opposed to a set donation.

What I took part in didn't cost me a huge amount of money but felt to try further auditing it would be out of my reach financially.

Suppose you're right it didn't really show anything new. I would have been interested to see an investigation into other aspects of Scientology such as the drug rehab unit - Narconon, to see if they work.

Maybe I missed it, but did they explain the reasons the "whistle-blower" bloke left?

I don't think the BBC would want to delve into the anti-psychiatry area in any great depth, seeing as the beeb is part of the establishment, airing too much on that topic would get the public questioning psychiatry for themselves.

It seems that the Church of Scientology is defending itself when they film Sweeney etc, the history is the work of

    L. Ron Hubbard has been attacked by the establishment who saw his alternative therapies as a threat to the psychiatry industry. Present day it appears in defending itself CoS has gone too far, a bit like the Jewish nation of Israel, in that the Jews were persecuted and now are the aggressors.

  4. I'm saying NuLabour were a continuation of the Tories and there is little change with what's in power now, they're all the same. Blair's NuLabour government banned fox hunting woopy doo! They weren't socialists, they didn't renationalise utilities and British rail or reverse anything else Thatcher did.

COMMON PURPOSE - www.cpexposed.com was in my sig for a while. You may of heard of NuLabour think tank DEMOS, Common Purpose are connected to that same group. There is no choice in the 3 established parties hence the hung parliament.

That's correct, my point is most people won't be any better off despite claims. If the lower waged pay less or no income tax they'll end up paying more for food because of the increase on fuel to distribute to supermarkets.

Sovereignty is VERY important, I wish to keep Common Law and to survive as a nation. The leaders of all 3 established political parties are pro EU. We weren't given a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty now we're stuffed. The Green taxes are the stealth taxes. Create jobs from nothing? That's right we have nothing, something needs to be created providing jobs, I was waiting to hear something inspirational from Clegg and got bugger all!

    Huhne says yes to
  5. I'm a afraid the Con-Dems are just a continuation of more of the same, as were Nu-Labour to the Tories. Yes they shuffle the pack around but they all have the same COMMON PURPOSE.

You'll find with the budget they give with one hand and take away with the other, ie green taxes (did I mention something recently about science being used to control people...)

They're all pro EU, doing nothing for our sovereignty. They need to be creating jobs jobs not squeezing out more from out back pockets in the form of stealth taxes and bumping up the cost of living in the process.

At least I can say I wasn't fooled into voting for neither party in power.

  6. Deadliest Warrior: They've made some stupid decisions, but its fucking awesome!

I enjoy watching that too. I laugh out how the yanks take themselves so seriously lol Imagine if there was a British version done by Channel 4 with people from Time Team ;)

    What else I've been watching:

Hard Times of RJ Berger - MTV, good for a giggle.

New Jersey Shore - admit it you love this programme :p

Recorded that Jamie Oliver in America programme, might be good.

Oh yeah and Alex Reid: Fights Back, last night. Liked watching that to stop places from my old manor. Spotted North st, Guildford on there. Also learnt Alex was in Gladiator, I was too, an archer, not that I've ever spotted myself in the film lol

  7. Eh, but surely the BBC are part of the cover-up if they won't air a programme of the cover-up? That's similar to the police investigating themselves. This story has escaped the mainstream media from whatever angle.

Part 1- Robert Green talks in Bournemouth

I'm not getting involved in the 'Is this case True or False' stuff but that comment is just stupid. The BBC refusing to air a documentary they cannot backup with facts is not a cover-up, It's common sense. If there is no solid proof or people willing to back up their claims on film then they would be stupid to risk the legal bills they may face

Where is the full story on what Loki has said about the BBC though?

No one has said that no one involved won't appear on TV, have they?

Perhaps Loki ought to quote the specifics here.

Anyway I've posted the video of the talk I went to, now it's the evening have a watch and tell me what you reckon afterwards, rather than judging by hearsay. Cheers.

  8. Would it surprise you, Duane, to learn that I've been to two of his lectures? First one was 8 hours, second one was 9.

Yeah, cool. I couldn't sit through it, sounds overwhelming. A 2hr lecture is enough for me. Must include a couple of intervals?

What did you think of it Keith?

  9. When Icke produces the corpse of a lizard master, that'll be evidence. Even a scale, or a giant tooth. But until then his work is just a mishmash of philosophy, new age spiritualism, classic Buddhist rhetoric, and a healthy dollop of fruitloopism thrown in.

I'd love it if all this shit were true, as I suspect Woyzeck would. I love a good conspiracy, I'm a massive X Files fan, and nothing would please me more if I could explain away all the wrongs of the world on some hugely secretive yet simultaneously far-reaching conspiracy.

Unfortunately, once you look at this sort of stuff with anything more than a passing glance it fades away to nothing. Who was that conspiracy nut who was on here about 6 months ago who basically had a mental breakdown live on the forum? It's that sort of embarrassing/slightly mental attitude that ruins all the fun.

It doesn't have to be real though, does it? Or am I missing the point of it all?

Surely everyone who helps to sell-out Icke's shows in London can't be fucking maniacs? I always assumed the vast majority were people like myself who read and listened to such stuff and believe it to be interesting, if not true.

This is it, you can entertain a view without necessarily accepting it.

  10. I've not read it in it's entirety, just a brief read, but will do so shortly, the thing is how do you know this ex webmaster guy is being truthful?

Eh, but surely the BBC are part of the cover-up if they won't air a programme of the cover-up? That's similar to the police investigating themselves. This story has escaped the mainstream media from whatever angle.

Here is the 1st part of the video of the event I went to in June for you to watch and judge Robert Green and the case for yourselves, when you have the opportunity to do so.

Part 1- Robert Green talks in Bournemouth

  11. Thank you for making yourself clearer.

If Anne Greig is lying then why did she receive compensation for a crime that wasn't committed?

Why did the abusive father and brother leave the country?

Where is it confirmed that she got

  12. Thank you for making yourself clearer.

    EDIT:

I'm listening to your perspective and see where you are coming from, referring to past events, although presumably these events made the news? Rather than being covered up?

It would help for you to have seen a talk from Robert Green, the man helping them, who's been arrested in the process. If you want, you can watch the same talk I heard in Bournemouth, since it was filmed and uploaded to Zerogov channel on youtube.

If Anne Greig is lying then why did her daughter receive compensation for a crime that supposedly wasn't committed according to the courts/police?

Why did the abusive father and brother leave the country?
