  1. I went to a brilliant presentation last night by Andy Thomas. He's excellent at joining the dots with the unexplained and conspiracy theories. He's the author of The Truth Agenda.

He dismantles the idea of the New World Order / Illuminati, saying the elites don't all agree with each and sometimes their plans go wrong. Also he keeps a positive slant on 2012.

    Check out his website:

  2. I've never really got Miranda. People keep telling me it's funny and I feel I should like it as it's meant to be silly sitcom like others I like, but everytime I watch it I feel very flat about it.

This afternoon I'm watching Better Off Ted. I love this show, very funny stuff.

Miranda is a bit of a modern twist on old 70s/80s campy humour I'd say. Not everyone's cup of tea, it's more women's humour.

  3. Be interesting to see if/how this is explained away... I recall there have been publicity stunts like this for films on youtube, that's one possibility, it's so easy to be fooled with the all technical trickery available. However I'm keeping an open mind about it.

Personally I'm of the opinion of there being a false flag terror event planned at the 2012 Olympic Games. The biggest most effective event of this type is an alien attack to unite the planet under a one world government. UFO sitings helps condition people to believe there is a real threat, but I'm not sure it's really being given enough media attention, perhaps this will gradually increase.

On an unrelated note I popped along to my local boozer for a Paranormal evening. It was a quite informal, I expected a sit-down presentation. Basically this guy and his team had set up devices to record any paranormal activity in various parts of the building to see what could be found. Most of the evening was an informal chat with a few us sat around him whilst he showed us evidence on his laptop of pictures and sound recordings.

I wasn't convinced by the images but the sound recordings were bizarre. He used a device that scanned along wave frequencies, asked a question and got an answer. I've only had a quick look, but I don't think they've got any of this audio on the site.

Here's their website: Hampshire Paranormal Research

Apparently they are coming next week with the reults of last nights recordings.

  4. I've been mostly been watching Angry Boys, Apprentice, Jamie's Food Revolution - Hollywood and Lee Nelson's Well Good Show. Oh yeah and the Hotel programme that just finished on Channel 4 (Sundays).

Angry Boys is another work of genius!

Amen to that. Angry Boys is the best thing on TV right now. It's taken over from Stewart Lee very well!

    I fuckin love Angry Boys.

Cool, good to see I'm not the only one lovin' it!

Anyone else been watching The Kennedys? I'm not one for dramas, but this appeals to me, getting quite into it now.

I'm probably going against the grain regards Game of Thrones but I just thought it was a let down, didn't quite deliver for me. Was constantly expecting more from it. Too much style and not enough substance in my opinion (perhaps that's a bit harsh). Kept building up then no pay off, not enough action. However loved the little fella in it, the swearing and raunchy bits ;)

  5. I watched it down a packed out boozer last night. Standing room only, no sound, ages to wait to be served. A complete contrast to when I've watched UFC events at a different bar, usually get a guaranteed seat, served quickly and good view but lacking atmosphere with only 10 max watching it.

It did seem like it would kick off towards the end, there was a group eastern European blokes getting loud and rowdy, cheering Kitschko, it wasn't going down well with the majority of punters... Don't know how it would've ended up, there were only about 6 of them but most resembled Cro Cop, they looked double hard!

The fight itself from what I could see was disappointing, neither fighter looked hungrier enough for the win, paid too much or just cautious tactics?

  6. Me and my son watched Napoleon Dynamite for the first time today, Sky+'d off Film. I'd not seen the whole film before and a mate of his was telling how good it was, good to watch a film we could both enjoy that was a little "different". My lad loved it! It's rather unique, funny I'm not sure how to describe it someone who's not seen it before, there's not many straight characters for a comedy they're all a bit weird :p

  7. Anyone see this docufim on More4? I Sky plussed it and watched it this morning. Part of their True Stories season.

    Catfish

When New York photographer Nev Schulman receives a painting based on one of his photographs from Abby, an eight-year-old child prodigy in Michigan, they become Facebook friends, and Nev develops online relationships with Abby's family, in particular with her attractive elder half-sister Megan.

But is everything as it seems? Nev travels to Michigan to find out.

A reality thriller that is a shocking product of our times, Catfish is a riveting story of love, deception and grace within a labyrinth of online intrigue.

True Stories commissions and showcases the best international feature documentaries.

It's not available on demand but there's a good chance it may well be repeated, I recommend it.

  8. Wasn't the compensation for the (alleged) abuse by someone in her family - who subsequently legged it abroad - and completely unrelated to the allegations that she's been systematically abused by a Paedophile ring since?

    Hi Digby,

Loki sent me this regards the compensation awarded to Hollie Greig. It doesn't clarify what the compensation was for or even that Hollie was a victim of abuse or indeed a victim of crime at all. Have a look when you a get a moment, it might help make it easier to understand.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority makes payments out to those affected by crime or criminal activity. The payment to Hollie Greig in no way indicates a presumption that she actually WAS a victim of abuse or indeed a victim of crime at all.

Here is a letter from the Crown Prosecution to one of the guys who was investigating on behalf of the Hollie campain:

On the second page, you'll see this stated. The quality of evidence needed to win compensation is far less than required for an actual prosecution. Perhaps they believed enough of what you've been accepting as fact to feel she deserved some compensation. I don't think anyone would dispute that she deserves compensation over this one way or another.

  9. The interview starts with a spaceship floating into view, and a zoom into the spaceship revealing the host sitting in a cheap scifi set in front of a greenscreened Earth from orbit whilst shitty electronic music played.

At the point, they could have revealed the 2nd coming of Jesus and I wouldn't have believed it.

It's shit like this that makes me so angry with Robert Green and those others who have been taking advantage of Hollie and Anne. Any possible credence their case might have had is destroyed by its association with such obvious lunatics as Mr Rich of Richplanet. We're talking about allegations of child molestation, and he's dicking around with Star Trek toys.

Yeah, who's decision was it to appear on something like that? Are they hoping to gain some sort of credibility for their story?

They're hardly going to appear on prime-time Sky News or Panorama when the mainstream media outlets been advised not to touch the story due to a D Notice, this is mentioned in the interview. Regardless of poor production values the programme gives you the story so far (Spring 2010) in under an hours viewing.

Anyway thought I'd post the video since you can hear their story by them as opposed hearing 2nd hand information. You can also judge Anne and Robert's body language, to decide whether they are honest and decent people or attention seekers making it up and exploiting Hollie.

  10. Christ, that was funny as fuck. Three things I particularly like about it:-

    1) The picture of Bill Hicks on the table. I'm sure he would be fucking delighted to be associated with these idiots.

    2) The fact that they didn't have enough room on the sofa for Green so they had stick him on some crappy old stool they probably found in the airing cupboard. It reminded me of Rick having to sit on the rickety chair in The Young Ones.

    3) The make-up lady has somehow managed to make Rich look WORSE than he usually does.

I don't think Rich has a make-up lady, he is the make-up lol

There's an episode on the site showing how cheaply the studio is made and his pet rabbit pisses on the desk.

  11. Wasn't the compensation for the (alleged) abuse by someone in her family - who subsequently legged it abroad - and completely unrelated to the allegations that she's been systematically abused by a Paedophile ring since?

It needs to be clarified what the compensation was for exactly.

Whilst searching for something unrelated I found this interview with Hollie, her mother Anne and Robert Green on the Rich D Hall's programme. It's under an hour long, shown in 3 parts. This was recorded Spring 2010, before the general elections and before the talk I went to with Robert Green in Bournemouth.

    Hollie on Richplanet

  12. If you ever DO get evidence for that, let us know.

In the mean time, if you acknowledge that the whole foundation of the case, a medical report proving Hollie was sexually abused, is at best highly dubious (and frankly false), then I'd refrain from writing to MPs asking them to investigate.

BTW, on the subject of Hollie's mother being "snatched"... she was sectioned by social services (in conjunction with an NHS psychiatric consultant) due to her deteriorating mental condition. When she resisted the social workers, running out of the building (and leaving her daughter behind incidentally) the police were called and help restrain her and she was administered with a sedative as well as an anti-psychotic.

An arrest warrant is not required for this, hence there not being evidence of one.

    Thanks for posting mate.

I call myself a truth seeker, therefore I need to look for the truth and not be "blinkered" by my heart.

I'm no longer supporting actively supporting the cause, but still following the story as it develops via the Facebook group.

Just a moment ago this was shared on there, one MP wants questions answered:

MP challenges Scottish Government over lack of prosecutions in Hollie Greig case

MP challenges Scottish Government over lack of prosecutions in Hollie Greig case

Conservative MP David Ruffley has written to the Scottish Government to ask why no prosecutions were raised after allegations of ritualised sexual abuse were made by the family of Hollie Greig.

Hollie Greig received the sum of

  13. Quite honestly I feel it's a threat rather than a promise to publish list of non supporters (list wouldn't even be published in the press, since they won't touch the story anyway). However surely it's wrong to not take action if they are aware? It's a moral responsibility. At the very least MPs can do their own research to find whether there truly is a cover-up and wrong doing.

If you have the ability to do something about a wrong doing do you think your inaction is indirectly supporting that wrong doing? If the individual isn't aware then fair enough.

As I've said Loki sent me information he's researched and I'm having second thoughts about this case. I'm not 100% convinced but I'm no longer putting my energy into the campaign for the time being.

@Martyn, I want to see evidence of Hollie's mother being snatched from home and injected to subdue her and sectioned. Also evidence of Robert Green's home being broken into.

  14. I think he could be sane and sincere. Just lacking in certain faculties like critical thinking. I don't think it's a dichotomy between ignorant troll and mentally ill.

History suggest otherwise. Anyone with even a single working brain cell would take on board and respond to the hundreds of intelligent counter arguments Duane gets from the likes of Loki, Sickwoy and others. Anyone who can post that shit about MP's being nonces without justification is sick in the head in some way.

Scare the shit out of me that people like him are allowed to breed.

No one is claiming this, seems you've clearly misunderstood. The idea is to write MPs to get some onside to help seek justice and fully investigate. Perhaps you ought to go back and view all the information I originally posted and do your own research like Loki has done. I have looked at information with an open mind Loki has PM'd me, I'm attempting to see the whole case from a different perspective, but there are several unanswered questions still.

Anyway I feel I've done my bit by writing to my MP and I'm now leaving it as that.

  15. Sorry but how can you prove the police and authorities haven't harassed them? That is your opinion as opposed to what's been reported.

I'd liked to believe this isn't true as much as anybody but there is so much to this story to dismiss everything. It has yet to be explained why Hollie was awarded money despite no conviction of anyone. Why did her father and brother leave the country if both were innocent of sexual abuse or involvement of the death of Roy Greig?

  16. Conspiracy nut is fine, Duane, but you're actually helping promote a guy who's fucked up Hollie and her mother as badly as the imaginary paedo-ring. Your doo-gooding, and those like you, is extending their nightmare.

Presumably you mean Hollie and Anne's nightmare? The police are continuing to harass them and Robert Green doesn't get an easy time himself. Hollie has personally expressed she is pleased people are trying to help. All 3 are brave people. Anne and Hollie could have chose to emigrate but they haven't, they've moved to Shropshire and still being harassed. So you mean people like myself doing their bit is encouraging the police, council etc to continue with their intimidation? Or have I missed understood your point?
