Someone needs to get him off Twitter.Ā

Heā€™s announced Orange Cassidy vs. Sex pest Jay Lethal and gotten a negative reaction. Now heā€™s replying to wrestling ā€˜journalistsā€™ with a sell job so bad he should expect a cabinet position with the Tories soon.

Big box office success? Also, their 2nd match was the most watched because it kicked off the show that directly followed Big Bang Theory on TBS. The rest of the show after those few minutes averaged 900+k viewers.

Matches usually donā€™t require this level of justification.

    Ummmmm,Ā

Just read the tweet and the one he was replying to. He was reaffirming Sapp's comment on the match drawing well in the ratings and doing it in Tony Khan Promoter Mode. It wasn't exactly like he was behaving like Elon Musk was on twitter last night.Ā

If you're offended by Tony's tweet, you should probably talk to a physiatrist.Ā

That was looking decent until the ruby/Tay part that looked staged as fuckĀ

Isn't that all reality TV thoughĀ

Watching Drive to Survive and the scene with the Toto Wolff and Christisn Horner yelling at each other in the meeting felt manufacturered.Ā

It's just part of territory with that kind of thingĀ

Itā€™s hardly AEW and ROH, is it? Arenā€™t DDT owned by the same company as NOAH? Itā€™s a rival promotion that they have an understanding with.Ā
    Ā

But thatā€™s irrelevant, the point was in reply to someone saying they shouldā€™ve listed specific examples of his matches, I disagree. The commentary team didnā€™t need to name all the ladder matches he had in every promotion against every opponent to emphasise he has pedigree in ladder matches, them saying ā€œHeā€™s had loads elsewhere/in Japanā€ does the trick without naming other promotions or people who donā€™t work for AEW.Ā

I don't think DDT and AEW are competing for the same market share.Ā

I'm not expecting a 15 minute history lesson about DDT but you can say he was the former DDT Champ, a company that Kenny Omega made his name. It sublimely tells the audience that maybe Konosuke is a potential big star

You donā€™t want them listing other promotions though as theyā€™d essentially be advertising a rival product for free on their own show. Just say he won loads in Japan and that covers it.Ā

But DDT aren't a rival promotion though. Omega has appeared there around 2019/2020. Kip and Penelope did a show this week.Ā

    Serena Deeb is a mystery.

Going into the PPV one women's feud, one match. Two titles. To think you had people talking up the last PPV because they had 3 matches. It's been a real regression.

Serena is injured last time I heard

Tbf it's a North American company problem. WWE's woman's division has regressed since Triple H has taken over. You can look at Stardom's growth and Mercedes being the big draw for the San Jose NJPW show to see that women wrestling can be a draw. Someone just needs to show Tony and Paul that.Ā

  5. Look guys,Ā

If I've pissed people off on here with my "fuck off" comments sorry.Ā

I think yesterday was my first fight with someone on here. That's probably a reason for that that only my psychiatrist will know. I try to just put the hot take, post the odd offensive joke and post on the twitter/YouTube any cool things that i think should be shared and I didn't do that last night. People caught stray bullets from a shit couple of daysĀ

Might take a break from here, may not.Ā

Iā€™ve got fuck all to apologise for, youā€™re the one who made a roaring cunt of yourself. I donā€™t know if itā€™s a regular thing with you as Iā€™m not really sure who you are, so Iā€™ll put it down to you feeling immense shame for being a doofus.Ā

Have a lovely weekend, champ šŸ‘

One last thing before I quit. If checking every message I put on here before I post to make sure I don't get laughed at for make mistakes and even then I have to edit after the fact makes me a doofus, then I'm a doofus but I'd rather be one than someone with your personality.Ā

Bit harsh? Iā€™m not even the one who laughed. You asked for elaboration as to what SB found funny and all I did was answer your question.Ā

    Not really

Just anther example of you thinking you're better than everyone else. At least SB apologised so he's less of a dickhead than you I guess

  9. For someone who has so many jobs, TK spends an insane amount of time on twitter.Ā

Tony is an easy target but Arlei is a bit of a twat and very good at making it obvious that he's on the take from WWE. It's not a coincidence that after his agent started working at WWE that Arlei is suddenly wrestlings most prominent historian. In my opinion that Tony Khan/Arlei interview was a setup which TK fell for hook, line and sinker.Ā

Also Arlei switching his football team from Everton to Nottm Forest is behaviour of a weirdo.Ā

Rush and Preston Vance is such an odd pairing and the gulf in talent between the two is absolutely massive.

Have Rush and Vance had a match against the Dark Order yet? I can't remember anything between them after the heel turn.Ā

Ā I don't think Preston is bad but I can't take him seriously on the basis that he really does look like Harry Kane

    Ā

  11. The best storyline in wrestling is Sami/KO and the bloodline. Cody looks like a star and will probably be a great champ if Triple H knows how to book a babyface champ.Ā

Everything else bar Gunther having great matches and chasing down the record length of IC Title reign is not that good.Ā

AEW in-ring is much better. Their promo guys are much better. Their two problems are storylines are a bit funky sometimes.Ā

Half the fun of MJF was the schadenfreude he would suffer. Even when he got the upper hand in feuds, it would crash down on him. When he's the champ he's going to win every feud and that isn't fun.Ā

There you go, solved the question for y'all

He was definitely a shining light in a very poor show, with Jericho once again part of one of the companies very worst segments.

Was that more the Impractical Jokers guys? Everytime I've seen a snippet of them they have go away heat and leave you with the feeling that cholera would be amusing than watching that show.Ā
