  1. Went to a well stocked Aldi this morning which was rammed with people not using the bastard packing shelf which meant my normal stress free shop became stressful.

The wife tried justifying why she wants hand gel despite never normally buying it. Oh, and she disinfected the door handles in the house. I'm not saying that this whole thing isn't going to be serious but the overreaction is doing my head in.

This whole thing is a marathon, not a sprint.

  2. Lazy and predictable.

I'm sick of the pointing at the sign to make a match. It was novel and memorable when it first started but now it's boring. Give me a decent feud and storyline to build to a climax at mania over the dull sign point.

Smack down really is the pits... Doesn't mean I will stop watching though.

  3. I say it every time but Goldberg oozes charisma and shits over the majority (all?) of the roster. Every time he shows up he puts today's talent to shame. I'm not sure how they can recreate what he has or whether I'm just nostalgic...

  4. The press conference was tremendous viewing. The animosity between both men is so obvious and I can't wait for the rematch.

"When I found you, you was strung out on coke. I brought you to big time boxing". Ouch.

Wilder has the power of the punch but I want a clean Fury win. Everything to play for.

  5. Only caught the Goldberg Wyatt segment... He oozes charisma and shits over the majority of the roster although I'd be happy if he got a small run then rode off into the sunset. Nobody wants a serious injury at this point.

Going to be a fun match.

  6. I still maintain that the Goldberg return and run is my all time favourite thing in wrestling. Booked to perfection with the element of suspension whilst playing to his strengths and covering his weaknesses; the initial match, rumble win and mania match are just wonderful.

I can't think of much else that could top it.

  7. Caught the last episode and I can safely say that this series has been the most entertaining Star Wars content for some time. There's enough fan service to keep the nerds happy and a decent storyline which keeps you guessing. Even the weakest episode (4) was good.

The last episode had a great wtf moment in the ending and I can't wait for the next season.

They are two of the weakest plot holes.

1 - It wasn't the distance that was the problem, it was not visible from any maps. Which is why they needed the green macguffin, because they knew of it's existance, but like when Luke hid himself, if they cannot find it on a map, how do they get there? Ain't no motorways in space, you need exact co-ordinates.

2 - Lando put out the call to get people to come out. They didn't have time to put out a distress signal in TLJ was my take. Plus, many people were in hiding knowing that the First Order had strength in numbers, so no one on their own is going to risk themselves. Put a message out saying we are going in a fleet, different story.

The second point was reinforced in TLJ when Leia tells the resistance to put a distress call out. I'd imagine it took a while for it to reach people and that, coupled with Landos support made it happen.

I wish the trailer didn't show the ships appearing. It spoiled the ending and would have made for a greater sense of desperation and surprise when they do turn up.

  9. Just got back. Quite simply, that feeling when you really fancy an Indian and you go overboard on the sides and extras and still eat it but end up being a fat bloated mess even though it's what you thought you wanted... Yeah, this film is that.

Enjoyable but with plenty of plot holes and fodder for the fan boys it confirms one thing - they should have left it at 3 films.
