  1. The very first time he said that (the Raw after WrestleMania?), it was brilliant. His delivery was spot on and he came across extremely cocky. He was acting very heelish, especially the way he was being dismissive of Sami Zayn. Then as you say, they started hammering the 'THE guy' thing too much and he was still booked as a typical blue eye.

This is probably my favourite Reigns moment ever. The face he pulled when Zayn said he wanted a title shot was tremendous heel work. He's gonna be an incredible heel someday if they ever decide to turn him.

  2.  £2

As soon as 'Hungry Joes' get their marketing sorted the kebab shops will be bricking it.

Hungry Joes are probably my favourite ready-meal brand. Their Meatballs meal is really good too. Just bang it in the microwave about 3 minutes more than the packaging advises, otherwise it's still freezing in the middle.

  3. I thought it looked pretty bad from the trailer, glad I haven't wasted my money on it.

I did see Moonlight last night. It's not the complete masterpiece that everybody is claiming but it is very, very good. The more I think about it, the more I like it. Exceptional performances across the board.

Anybody watched Jackie? i was really looking forwards to it but couldn't get on with it. Just didn't like the tone of the film.

  4. Black pudding Scotch eggs? They sound magnificent.

I had an English breakfast out of a tin this morning. Did the job. Slice of crust to mop up the juice, of course.

  5. I'm not arsed about how much money Jeff would bring in, or drawing power. I've always hated him as a wrestler. Shit promo, some of the worst offence I've ever seen in a wrestling ring and I don't find him particularly charismatic either. The thought of him against Cena/Reigns/Owens/Joe/Styles etc does nothing for me. Besides, I imagine Finn appeals to the same demographic and he's 10x better than Jeff. And I'm not even a big Balor fan.

  6. i had a wonderful tea last night. Picked up a cheeseburger, chicken wrap and a couple pieces of fried chicken on the way back from the pub, completely forgetting i had a mixed curry from the Chinese waiting for me at home. Combined the lot of it. There's no cleaner eating than a big piece of fried chicken smothered in curry sauce. Lovely.

  7.

That Marilyn Manson looking cunt in the front row is actively ruining shows for me now. The miserable prick.

Is this the guy with the long black hair? If it is, I can't possibly see how anybody could be offended by him. He's hardly Brock Lesnar Guy, is he?

I don't mind Brock Lesnar Guy. He always looks into the show (even if its put on for the cameras) and as mentioned, cheers for the faces/boos the heels.

I couldn't take my eyes off Marilyn Manson during the end of Raw. Everytime Reigns hits a Superman punch he looks like he's about to cry. Then once Strowman got the upper hand he starts clapping like a fucking seal. But he does this throughout the entire show. Sits there looking like a miserable cunt. Even when he's clapping he looks miserable. Proper punchable face too.

It's definitely an irrational hatred but I want him to fuck off forever.

  8. I won't watch Manchester by he Sea ever again. Never. I kind of guessed where it was going from the trailer and would normally avoid such things like the plague because that shit sets my anxiety off but I really wanted to see this. When he says the line

    I can't beat it

    it absolutely destroyed me.

Yep, same. It's an incredible film but as you say, it's one I'll struggle to watch again.

I read a review on Letterboxd which says Hollywood typically portray grief as something that can be overcome or resolved, whereas this film shows that isn't always the case. I thought that was spot on.

There were a few moments which destroyed me. The initial revelation of the fire, his conversation with Michelle Williams character - 'theres nothing there' - and the aforementioned 'I can't beat it' line.

I gotta say though, the casting of Matthew Broderick really pulled me out of the film for a moment.

  9. They could have gone with Brock costing him the title he wants at FastLane and then Goldberg seeking revenge, guess they want to title on the match though.

In kayfabe terms this wouldn't make much sense anyway. Brock already knows hes got a match with Goldberg at Mania so surely he'll want Goldberg to beat Owens, meaning he has a chance to win the title at Mania.

Good build to Fast Lane this week, I thought. Strowman looked the best he ever has in his two segments. Joe gave a really strong opening promo and had a decent match with Reigns without giving too much away, leaving the door open for them to have better PPV matches in the future. And the Jericho/Owens developments were fun too. It's just a shame the four people I've mentioned are all heels as none of the faces have any fucking momentum at all, bar part-time Goldberg.

I've not minded Rollins the last few months but christ, the show felt noticeably fresher without him around.

Tozawa was better than his 205 Live debut but still disappointing on the whole. Then again, there's not a whole lot you can show when you're given 5 minutes with Drew Gulak.

I know I'm going to mark out when Aries finally loses his rag and twats one of the Cruisers, while the live audience play on their phones and wait for New Day's entrance.

  10. Anybody still watching this? Baffled by Tozawa's debut, the bloke has a completely different demeanour from when he was in the CWC. He came down all smiles and excitement and was trying to get some shitty 'YAH YAH' chant over. I'm sure he'll still be great, but it was a million miles from the pissed off killer he looked in the CWC.

In worse news, Tony Nese is still being featured quite regularly. It's a massive problem when even the commentary team have to address his lack of charisma and personality.

  11. Fucking hell, they've had some bad luck with injuries the past few years haven't they? I was actually looking forwards to Rollins vs HHH (as an unashamed HHH fanboy, I'd be looking forwards to him vs a broom). If they could somehow turn this into HHH vs Joe though, that would interest me a lot more.

I thought barring the injury, it was a great way to bring Joe in. A fine Triple H promo, all fire and passion then hiding behind his hired muscle.

Other than Heyman's promo (probably his best in ages actually), I found the rest of Raw quite flat. Pretty bad crowd too.

  12. I'm pretty sure Graves explained on commentary once that he's not actually a drifter, he's just an hipster who thinks of himself as a drifter as it makes him sound more unique. It was a while ago he mentioned it though. Or I might have even made it up myself. Not sure. Either way, I love him. The 'Hello, I'm Johnny Cash' ripoff is fantastic.
