My favourite thing about that video is that it reminded me Jacob Novak existed. The greatest missed opportunity of the decade, Jacob Novak, despite being thoroughly mediocre.
Nah, he's certainly no Lucky Cannon. The least convincing 'ladies man' gimmick of all time.

The Other Side Of Hope and My Life As A Courgette are the main two I'm waiting on to hit Netflix - seen either of them, D-Mal?

Oh yeah, I'm not saying Life was an excellent piece of cinema or anything. It's just a pretty good film. But that's enough for it to piss all over Alien: Covenant.
-
I was astounded that Life was 10 times better than Alien: Covenant. I probably shouldn't have been considering what Ridley Scott has become, but fucking hell Alien: Covenant is an utterly dreadful film on all levels.

I just got done watching Dunkirk. I'm not a Nolan fan at all, but it's great. Easily his best since The Prestige. I would've preferred if it had a linear narrative and didn't flick back and forth so often, but that's a minor criticism overall.Â

I'll hate it if it's Stephanie. I can't see past the Angle/Vince trying to oust Triple H/Stephanie suggestion HarmonicGenerator made.Â

Used to get Preston from Ordinary Boys a lot when I was younger (ugh), but not many lookalikes for me.
I'm getting a bit of a Matt Smith vibe moreso than Preston.

Just got back from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Other than the last battle scene suffering from the 'too much CGI happening and I can't really make out what's going on' issue, I thought it was great. The Peter Parker high-school bits were especially good.
Easily the best Spidey film since the original. Never understood the love for the second film though. Alfred Molina's bloody crap in it.

When he can be arsed, Brock really does make his opponents look like a million bucks doesn't he? Turning beetroot for Joe, throwing himself around the ring for Show a few years back and the way he sold the spear for Goldberg. He's fucking great, Brock is.Â

I hate the sequence, but I think Sydal celebrating was more 'yes, I've finally got the cunt down!' than celebrating their shitty little spot-fest.

Chuffed about the Ranallo situation, he is much more suited to NXT and Philips to main shows than vice versa. I actually thought they'd originally keep Ranallo as a 205 Live-only commentator, but I guess that would still mean having to be around JBL.

Didn't he say in the promo he faked the attack on himself to watch Enzo suffer some more?

Praying now that the Goldust toilet reveal will happen.

I'm not a fan of these Drew McIntyre squash matches. After that first belting match with Lorcan, they should've put him straight into a competitive storyline. Just seems they're killing time by having him beat jobbers in boring matches, until they have something decent for him.
It's completely the opposite with Aleister Black, I'm loving him and his squashes. After Takeover:Orlando I wasn't arsed about Black and was marking out for Drew but that's completely changed over the last month.
Bit shit, the show this week.
-
Anything that is more up to date than their beloved nu-rock. Something that is actually in now, like EDM. Or something that fits the tone of NXT, maybe some punk or hardcore similar to Aleister Black's theme.
I remember they did an advert for the Network in like 2011 and it stood out because they used dubstep, which at the time was relevant. They're so out of touch when it comes to music usually.

Read it and weep, fuckers;

I lost around 2 hours to it today at work. 166 was my best. Somehow got there with hardly any sixes too.

Have you read the book? I only finished it last week and the first episode was really faithful to the novel. Utter gut punches of emotion throughout that first episode, and I'm looking forward, but also dreading episode two.
Elisabeth Moss is excellent as Offred though, really manages to get so much across just with her facial expressions. Not seen her in much outside of Mad Men, anyone seen her in much else worth checking out?Â
Â
She's great in Top of the Lake which is well worth checking out.

I've been watching the X-Men movies again before I get around to finally watching Logan. Is there any film franchise with a timeline/chronology as completely fucked as this one? Massive contradictions between ages and dates of events from film to film. Charles being in a wheelchair in the 60s then walking around in the 80s, Cyclops not recognising Wolverine in the first film despite being rescued by him in Origins: Wolverine, there's loads of examples.
I mean, I don't always expect 100% logic in my comic-book films but it just seems the filmmakers have no respect for continuity. Â

There's an episode of Law & Order: SUV that starts off with Robin Williams convincing Pete from"30 Rock" to tie up and strip one of the staff members at the fast food restaurant he manages, as punishment. This reminds  me of that
There was also a case of this genuinely happening in the US a few years back, a prank caller pretending to be an police officer convincing a fast food manager to strip search an employee. I only really remember the case because it inspired a really nasty film. Think it was called 'Complicit'.Â

Lana's arse, probably.

scotswizard, never change you fucking maniac.

Superfans don't usually bother me, but I also hate Marilyn Manson guy. He looks a right miserable cunt too. His face whenever Roman wins is hilarious. Sad fucker.
-
Not seen much talk about the actual match - only me who really enjoyed it? I'd go as far to say I enjoyed Jinder/Orton more than Styles/Owens, although Owens has been boring me for about a year now.Â
Anyway, I liked that PPV. Thought everything was good to great with the exception of Rowan vs Harper, which was pretty dull, and the Womens match which I used as a tea-break.Â
Pissed myself at that Singh brother commentators table spot. Fucking brutal.

I'm thinking of buying a Nintendo Switch between now and Christmas, mostly for Mario Odyssey. The question is, other than Zelda and Mario, is it worth it so far? I'm not arsed about most of their other 'big' games like Splatoon 2 or Arms, so am I better waiting another few years for more releases and a price drop?
