How do I remove stuff from my history on iPlayer? I fell asleep watching The Apprentice: You're Fired last night and now it's decided that I wanted to watch Gavin & Stacey afterwards.

I think you can only do it on the website version.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/watching

Just click 'remove' under the show you want to get rid of.

  2. They had Danielson doing a Fuego Dos type thing on Dark not long after he first came in, but it only seemed to be a one-off. Or it was dropped when he started acting more heelish.

Excalibur on these shows the past few weeks has adopted a 'Michael Cole in old NXT' attitude where he just shits on things and it makes me pop everytime. Him taking the piss out of Julia Harts graphic and Gunn Clubs music this week being the highlights.

  3. Keith Lee cut a promo after Rampage and about 5 minutes after the match he still looked and sounded really blown up. He definitely doesn't seem to have fully recovered from his health issues.

I can kind of understand why there were reports about him rubbing people up the wrong way in WWE. He was on the AEW podcast last week and he's got quite a condescending way of speaking. A heel run where he leans into this and can justify him wrestling a slower pace may be the way to go after the initial buzz wears off.

  4. I don't really have a go-to when it comes to pizza. I like trying different things so will just pick one at random and 95% of the time I enjoy it.

This does backfire when you get an atrocity of a pizza arrive though. Like the time I ordered a 'Swedish pizza' from some cheap local delivery place and it came with boiled potatoes as a topping.

It'll be easy enough to get that belt off of Deonna if need be, heck they can even book it as a triple threat to protect her if need be, although I'm sure Impact can get her into a feud with somebody and have that play into the finish if need be.

    Only if need be, though.

  6. Enjoying Spider-Man (PS4) at the moment but it's not quite as amazing as I'd heard. I feel like I'd seen everything the game had to offer about 3 hours in. Luckily the fighting and swinging mechanics are fun enough that I don't mind too much.

I do find these open-world games just overwhelming in terms of missions, sidequests, collectables etc that just get thrown at you. Is there anything recent on Playstation that's quite linear and doesn't rely on skill-tree bollocks and all that shite? I'm more into platformers/action games than anything else.

Via osmosis, I’ve seen the first series and a half of After Life. It’s pretty boring and by the numbers. It’s mainly saying cunt, fat jokes, and a character that seems to exist solely so Tony can answer questions smugly and with condescending superiority about why he’s an atheist. I called making up arguments so you can give your view “The Gervais Position” on here before but it is so apparent in this show.

He is a terrible writer/director without Merchant. The Office is in my top 5 TV shows of all time and I love anything he's done with Karl Pilkington, so I've got more time for Gervais than most. But After Life started off distinctly average and proceeded to get worse. The recent series has some of the worst TV writing I've seen in years.

Denzel and Frances McDormand were both fantastic.

I will agree with this, McDormand in particular. I just can't get on with Shakespeare, being the uncultured swine I am.

I'd love to see those pair opposite each other in a proper Coens film.

  9. Few recent releases I've caught up with:

I can't usually be arsed with Benedict Cumberbatch tortured genuis films but I did quite enjoy The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain. It's more subversive than most by-the-numbers biopics and Claire Foy is as good as always. The most impressive thing about Boiling Point is just how often I completely forgot about the one-take gimmick because I was so gripped by the interweaving threads. Tense, gripping with some cracking performances. Can see me rewatching this a fair few times this year.

I'm not a big Shakespeare stan so I'm probably not the ideal person to give an opinion on The Tragedy Of Macbeth. I thought it was as boring as most Shakespeare adaptations are and it's a massive shame Joel Coen arsed about with this instead of making another proper Coens film. Mass was heart-wrenching and uncomfortable but worth watching for the 4 performances. Not a weak link amongst them. I was exhausted by the end of this in the best way.

The 355 was better than I was expecting. By the numbers plot but decent enough action. Wouldn't mind a sequel to this. Brunette Diane Kruger probably the highlight.

I've also been going through PTA's filmography before I watch Licorice Pizza. Magnolia's alright, isn't it?

  10. I think the thing I'm proudest of in my life is never ever watching a Joe Rogan clip. The cunt could be stood next to me in the Asda and I doubt I'd know it's him.
