  1. Luke Littler is going to dominate this game. He followed up from being the world final runner up with back to back World Series finals, one of which he won. A cracking start to the premier league campaign and today was his first pro tour and he won on debut. He hit a nine darter, he was very unlucky not to hit a second, averaged over a hundred in over half his games. And won the final against a 111 average (just the 109 for himself). Incredible.

Leighton Bennett hit a nine on debut as well.

Add John Cena & Shawn Michaels Vs. Batista & The Undertaker from No Way Out 2007 to the tag matches that headlined PPVs list.

Probably the best of the lot that’s been mentioned. Really solid match.

I remember my mate come back from Afghanistan and he had a highlight reel of his combat cut to some generic rock music. Fuck knows what that was all about, not sure what he was expecting from me here either. “Nice murdering mate.” Still better than people’s holiday pics though.

Just imagining it like a mid 2000s WWE video package with Saliva or Breaking Benjamin playing over it.

  4. I would class The Football Factory as a comedy. The ridiculousness of it and some of the lines (which me and a couple of mates still quote) is just hilarious. Billy Bright and Fred shouting insults before having a fight at their kids youth match is classic.

    See also Green Street.

That'll be the one at Apps Court Farm right? I was so tempted by it all and bottled it right at the end.

That’s the one. It was a good day out. They were meant to do it at Twickenham stoop last year and apparently will be there this year.

  6. The Smyths are a great tribute band as well. I saw them at the Half Moon in Putney. They always sell out, you can barely move.

I saw a great American band at the Dublin Castle. Stones n Roses. They are a Guns n Roses, Stone Roses and Rolling Stones tribute. Singer calls himself Ian Brownstone. A lot of gimmicks in one and a few of the songs were all three bands songs merged into one. But they were really fun and his Ian Brown is spot on.

Went to a festival a couple years back in Walton called Just A Tribute which was an all tribute festival obviously. A couple of them had crap names for bands such as Pearl Jam (Brain of J) and Nirvana (simply called Nirvana Tribute). They also had Meat Loaf, Linkin Park, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Queen and Aerosmith. The Nirvana tribute was fucking terrible. Probably the worst one I’ve ever seen.

The Meat Loaf one was equally as bad. He got halfway through I’d Do Anything For Love and decided he wanted to start again. Then proceeded to do the whole 12 minute version from the start. So 18 minutes of it. This was early in the set. Then, he fucking closed with it!

The same festival was meant to return last year with the Nirvana and Pearl Jam tributes coming back as well as Foo Fighter, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Paramore, RHCP and a Slash and Myles Kennedy tribute. They cancelled it on the morning despite giving my girlfriend a £30 bar tab in a competition the night before. I was pleased as it sounded dreadful.

  7. Traitors Australia had a fantastic final few minutes.

    Spoiler

Sam deserved to go home with nothing. His downfall was even sweeter to lose right at the end. Cocky, arrogant shit. Whining at Camille because he deserved it. Actually the biggest wanker of a traitor out of the lot. Great tv
