  1. Going back and just reading this quote "People make mistakes, people get it wrong. What's important is how people learn from the mistakes and change their ways."

It doesn't half echo someone near and dear to us all. Well maybe not dear.

  2. First Kindle book I bought was All Or Nothing. Such a good read. I loved finding about why the show at the Liverpool Olympia in 2010 that I went to was so fucked up and how bad the planning was for the Ellesmere Port show in the Summer was.

  3. I know this is questions thread, but just while we're on that topic....I love WCW from that era, 1991-1993 let's say. But I read a lot of negatives about it, I guess not all of it just from the matches and wrestlers, but creatively and the company as a business. Obviously at the time, and now, I don't care whether the company was making money. Maybe it's nostalgia, as watching Worldwide on ITV was the highlight of my week, but I love rewatching stuff from that time. I really want more of it on the Network, the PPVs and the Clashes are great, but I want to watch the TV shows (in decent quality - before anyone directs me to youtube).

Go for the Monsoon Classic guy on YouTube. Hundreds of individual matches from the period yourlooking for on TV. Also you could try Tsteck160 on Daily motion he has about 3,000+ matches but they are in no particular order so it will take some sifting through.

  4. Cody Rhodes has put a to do list on Twitter, looks like he has a 3 month no compete clause but after that, game on.

Spookily enough the first match that popped into my head when he left WWE was vs Adam Cole, something about that just appeals to me.

Rhodes Scholars vs The Bucks put that in PWG that could be really really good though it'd take 3 months to see it.

  5. Saw some GIFs on Twitter and thought 'fuck me I have to sew this'. Just checking Dailymotion every so often to see if it pops up through my subscriptions. Fingers crossed.

  6. I didn't mind Jericho and Cass one bit. Even enjoyed the memories of Mitch. But it seems for naught when Enzo will be back soon.

Thought I'd enjoy the elimination match more but I can't get past rollups and secondary finishers (Superman Punch) causing eliminations. Takes me out the match and takes me back to some early Survivor Series matches and not in a good way

  7. It has been stated on some sites (411) that some of the talent are unhappy with the direction of the company at the moment and the booking decisions of Delirious.

But this always pops up in and around (TM Andy Townsend) the time of big events.

How much more of the NJPW exposure is healthy to ROH?

As much as I do love these shows it does seem time to focus on ROH talent from now to until maybe the end of year potentially longer or have 1 or 2 NJPW guys per show dependant on who they may be facing. Put the NJPW relationship to the back burner for a little.

  8. How many leagues are you guys running?

I used to only do one or two back in the day. However computer technology has moved on the intervening years. The budget laptop I'm using at the moment has 1.7 GHz and 6 gb of Ram. Speed wise, it's light years beyond what I was rocking back in the day.

I run ten at a time. Anymore and the game slows down too much. 9 run as background leagues though.

  9. That 'My vag' shout, the finish and Martinez's outfit. Jesus that was bad but I didn't much mind her shittalking Rebel at the start that was mildly entertaining.

What I caught and thought was ok was Veda Scott. Playing the spunky, firey underdog was decent. A bit Mikey Whipwreck in ECW but promising nonetheless. Showed a change from her ROH bitchy lawyer character.

  10.

Speaking of New Japan, the wonderful chaps at Voices of Wrestling have put together the 2015 year in review ebook. Best of all its only £200 ... Or FREE! It all depends on if you want to donate or not. Its available for anyone to download for as little or as much as you like. Its a great little thing. Like one of those old year books the PWI put out with bios of everyone and a look into what 2016 holds.

I donated and my bank did stop all transactions on my account and asked me to confirm my last 5 payments before freeing it up again. Next time I'll take a freebie instead.

You using RBS are you? I get that shit trying to topup my phone on Vodafone. Look up the RBS Fraud Line number and phone it when you get shit like that happening. Automated call. Keep on ringing it until the computer gets your details.

No no I'm a Santander customer. Its become a common occurrence now. Happened ordering Tagged Classics off CeX and Cash Converters.

  11. I was surprised how many people said they looked the business. Less so Anderson, but I thought Gallows' ring gear was ridiculous. He looked like a latter day Nasty Boy cosplaying as The Punisher. Which, as I type, I realise it doesn't sound that bad but nah, not for me.

    It's certainly no Cesaro's Velcro suit :)

  12. I very much enjoyed watching Anderson and Gallows this week. They looked a good fit and their music was good. Sounds like it could be a grower.

Its just a shame that the main event result is pretty much predictable. The only thing of intrigue is how he loses and not if he can win.

  13. Goldberg was King of the short conpetitive matches. The Raven one, this one against The Giant. What an aura. Outer shape lazy sloppy belly to back suplex Brock does not compare.

This match, linked the wrong one

Most of Goldberg's matches were always fun. His intensity is infectious even now. Both matches are cool short watches.

  14. anyone been listening to Vince Russo's Brand on Podcast One now it's free? He puts out a stupid amount of content but every show has a different kind of theme. I enjoy it, i've been listening to the news related podcast and the Mania recap. Whether or not you'll enjoy is probably entirely based on how much of Russo you can take though,

    How many bro's per episode?
