Episode flew by and as its the start of the new tapings it feels a bit fresher than the last few months have.

Would Owens now take on Lesnar for Trips and Stephanie under the guise that its another and possibly bigger prize to fight for now that he's champion?

Thought this was the most all round enjoyable show of the Manchester ones. Sometimes the first half can be a little flat but there was only the Dante / Coffey match that didn't really click.

Really fun to watch even of those beaming lights onto the stage have give me one hell of a headache. Back to the side seats next time.

Last time I watched ROH (about a year and a half ago) Jay Briscoe was on top and looking like he was ready for a move somewhere else. What happened since then? Obviously Jay Lethal became champ but looks like he's back in the tags with no sign of a NXT shot. ROH just throw too much money at him to stay?

Wasn't it partly due to the Briscoe's views on same sex marriage and a subsequent tweet on it being taught to their kids in schools.

The website was a real pain to navigate and also if your using a Santander Debit card they stop the payment, flag it as fraud and then take an hour to get back to you. Least the missus' Natwest card worked, then she frogmarched me to an ATM took a ton and didn't give me my £4.75 change. But fuck it. Going. Same seats as 2006 and 2007. Yay!

Tank Abbot should have become the biggest babyface in wrestling for battering Mark Madden.

Didn't shut him up though. I think I could listen to Art Donovan more than Madden. He was awful.

I really enjoyed this, for the first time in a long time 3 hours flew by.

One thing vexed me though. Does the name 'WWE Universal Championship' not sound like the result of a childish arguement?

"I have the World Championship!"

"Well I have the Universal Championship and it's bigger and better than yours coz it's the Universe."

With Steph's character I can see it. It just comes across as a little dumb. Maybe I just wanted the big gold belt back.

Hopefully I can get Liverpool and Leicester in. Can't believe there hasn't been an ROH show here since 2007. Guess this might make London a possible TV taping?

Updated every Thursday or sometimes Friday.

For hugely selfish and sentimental reasons I'd love the Olympia again. However better production values since 2007 would it film well in there?

Really hope they return to The Olympia in Liverpool. Only be right seeing as it's 10 years since they were last there.

I only got it a couple of weeks ago. Like Destiny when which I took a year to get so I may have missed the boat on all the good stuff before the updates.

Took an look at the XBox Live sale. Not all that much but if you were prepared to spend The Division including Season Pass was £51.

I opted for Zombi which was £7.50 and looked ok. Will try it tonight of I can drag myself out of the Dark Zone.

Also saw a preorder in Game for remastered Bioshock 1,2 and Colombia on the Xbox One and PS4. £40 was the preorder. I'm tempted.

Just watched Jeff Cobb vs Chris Hero from the latest PWG show, Cobb is Matanza in Lucha Underground, it's the first time I have seen him as himself, no mask and boiler suit, this guy is fucking brilliant, unbelievable freak strength and power. One of the better matches I have seen this year so far, definitely worth going out of your way to see.

When Cobb starts chucking Hero about with those rolling gutwrenches was great. I also liked Excaliber explaining how there wasn't much exposure for him wrestling in Hawaii so he came over. Be very interested to see who he's paired with at BOLA.

Be interesting seeing that he's Jr. size how he's treated. Probably get more points than Honma though.

Beautiful video. We have a guy like this on work. Spends his time listening to Youtube videos on the New World Order. I've learnt to time my smoke and lunch breaks around him just in case he's watched something and is on one. There's no speaking or reasoning with them.

 

Just listened to Jim Cornette's number 135's podcast. From 55 minutes onwards is a wonderful rant about Vince Russo's behaviour in TNA.

 

Great stuff. Cornette's venom for Russo never gets old, at least not yet.

 

I'd add as well Corny's views on Brexit is at about 44 minutes too.

whats the deal with Cornette's podcasts then? i know he has shows with different themes but what is what?

I think every week he goes off on the weeks events and this one was in the week of the Brexit and Russo putting up some video that aluded to him backstabbing TNA that he took down very quick.

I come across it on a link within a newz site and thought I'd listen. Killed my last hour in work brilliantly.

It's alright. Arnie by the numbers really. James Caan is alright as a backstabbing bastard and the rail guns are pretty cool for the time. One of those films I can put on for background whilst playing Footie Manager.

Agreed. Prime Time is something I will go out my way to watch. Same with all the old Wrestling Challenge's, Superstars and All American's.

Watching a lot on poor quality on Dailymotion. Take out all the Event Centre stuff and even the promoting of the PPV's and your looking at around 20-25 minutes of in ring action. And they are such easy watches.

Always loved Mark Curtis taking down a fan on Nitro on the subject of fan run ins.
