Even if I would buy my ticket on no more than the promise of "Toni Storm will wrestle and you'll get to look at her bum."

Toni Storm's arse is massive, but in a perfectly acceptable way. When she came out, I didn't know what else to look at

It was as hypnotic as a Lava Lamp.

Daddy vs T-Bone was 2 big buggers smashing each other.

This was so, so, so much fun!!! This Atlas Championship is gonna be bloody brilliant. Big Guys just smashing the shit out of one another

Don't know you guys but I thought T-Bone winning was a bit of an upset. But yeah big burly men beating on each other. Bring it on.

  3. The Dunne Brothers beat Moustache Mountain

    Damon Moser beat Ashton Smith

    Jinny beat Toni Storm

Mark Haskins beat Flash Morgan Webster

    T-Bone beat Big Daddy Walter

Tommy End answered Marty Scrull's non title villain open challenge and defeated him.

    &

The Origin retained the tag titles over FSU.

Noodles were awesome if a little too filling after a few 2 pints jugs of Tuborg.

Was there much of a following for wcw compared to WWF back during the wars? Never really remember anyone following it when we were at school in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Yeah, WCW got bigger ratings than the WWF at times. As pointed out on recent SCG podcast, Nitro wasn't on a subscription channel like Raw but there was plenty of interest.

Even without the Sky subscriptions the old analogue box used to pick up Cartoon Network/TNT as a freebie channel. Along with DSF for the classic old PPV's and shows.

  5. On the Styles front, the main thought I have is just that AJ Styles is number 1 contender to the WWE Title! That's something I never thought I'd be able to type, but it's happened, and that's kind of great.

I was trying to rack my brain for someone who got from debuting to Number 1 contender to a world title shot so quick. And then a horrible memory came to me. Scott Steiner. Yeesh.

  6. I'm not a hater and I always give WWE the benefit of doubt (you will rarely see me criticize Raw) BUT why on earth did Bailey not debut?? It has be the most baffling decision I have seen a while, the crowd were literally waiting for it.

And is Reigns turning heel now? I really hope so, he could be such a hot heel. Also I don't see Reigns v Aj actually making it to the ppv

I think that program between Bayley and Asuka is far from over. And there is the potential to have a few more great matches. Plus Sasha hasn't even won the title yet so I don't see the need for Bayley just yet.

My question would be why call up Apollo Crews? He seemed to be going backwards towards the end of the year. Could it be because Ciampa and Gargano finally signed and its a space issue?

I'd have called Joe up. He'd have got a great reaction and while he's not getting any younger he'd make a more than credible opponent for some of the roster.

  7. I don't know if its due to the fact I really wanted Joe to win but the out of nowhere ending just didn't do it for me even though its take from 2 of my favourite matches.

Didn't expect much from Aries / Corbin and didn't get much.

Given more time and more experience with each other American Alpha and The Revival could have something really special on their hands.

The ladies were great. As much as I like Asuka. Its sad to see Bayley lose. Was a can't win whatever happens thing but I'm curious to see where they go now as there's definatly a rematch down the road.

Nakamura and Zahn was great. At times jawdropping. Fantastic debut. Hard to see Nakamura not being put right at Balor now or they may have him go through Joe first. Either way can't wait to see were NXT goes from here.

  8. Surely if you bought some COD DVDs you knew what you were getting yourself into?!

I love CZW and all its craziness

I did. At the time knew exactly what I was getting into. As time goes by and events take place in your life your tastes and also what you can stomach does. I've had these 3 years and just never got around to watching them.

  9. The "best" of Zandig, although, we all know his best moment was the infamous JEEEEZUS promo.

    Just, just... good lord...

Makes me want to sell those unwatched copies of Cage of Death. After watching that I don't think I can stomach it.

  10.

Just passed the 02 Ritz in Manchester on my train home. 9 days to go. Whoo Hoo!

Looking forward to it. Looks a real good card. Hoping to watch Chapter 27 this weekend

I wasn't sure about the card when it was announced I felt a bit 'meh' about it. But the more I run the matches around in my head the excited I am. I thought when I missed Tetsujin I might have missed a chance to see Big Daddy Walter so buzzing I'll see him very up close.

As for Marty Scrull's open challenge anyone like to make a guess who might answer?

  11. Is Lio Rush any good?

For a guy with 1 years experience yes. There's a lot of promise there. He's kinda like a new version of The Amazing Red.

He was outshone by and looked lucky against Jason Kincade in his first match. Had a really good 3-4 star match with Punisher Martinez and had a decent final with Brian Fury. I'm sure Lethal will get something good out of him.

I also believe there is some stuff with cZw but I haven't seen it.

  12. Can Sabin still go? I thought his knees were wrecked.

    Deonna Purazzo sure gets around....

Sabin is still pretty decent. Him and Sydal had a pretty good match against the Bucks in late 2014 in PWG so I think paired back with Shelley and with familiar opponents it'll be good.

  13. Well according to the main page of the ROH website Lio Rush signed a contract today.

"Twenty-four hours before facing Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Championship at SUPERCARD OF HONOR - NIGHT 1 in Dallas, TX, Ring of Honor is proud to announce that 2016 Top Prospect Tournament Winner, Lio Rush has signed a contract with ROH.

If successful against Lethal on Friday night, Lio Rush is fully prepared to assume all ROH World Championship commitments and duties. Ring of Honor is proud to add Lio Rush to our roster and wish him well against Jay Lethal."

The picture is great. He looks as pleased as Aaron Lennon did signing for Everton.

  14. I genuinely always hope X-Pac is at an event doing photos in the ring, not because I would get one but because I think X-Pac is the greatest of all time at being rubbish.

Buff Bagwell, I freaking LOVE Bagwell, when Southside booked him I got a front row ticket... He's got the stuff.

When I watched through all the WCW PPV's on the network I thought Ultimo Dragons schtick with all the title belts was the best bit of cheese... Ever.

    GANGREL... Because GANGREL.

    Vampiro because see above

I'd disagree that Dragon was unsuccessful or never showed promise or ability or isn't respected from the criteria above. But was he one of my boys? And would he have been in my 5 favourites ever? Undoubtedly.
