I was convinced Gibson was winning the title. How to make a megaheel in one quick swoop. Scouser 'stealing' the title in Manchester. That main event far surpassed my expectations. Haven't been this excited to see another show since ROH in 2006.

I was totally blown away by the show as a whole. Thanks to Zack Gibson throwing Flash Morgan Webster through the chairs I was able to upgrade my second row seat to a front row one. Cheers for helping out a fellow scouser fella! Sod Valentine's Day. Bring on the next show on the 14th. Hope the missus isn't reading.

Plus can we talk spoilers here or would that ruin it for anyone?

Well Ciampa and Sabre Jr was superb. Bring on the 2nd half!

Just watching the Southampton Liverpool game and noticed a very big resemblance between Shane Long and Alex Shelley.

JTTS. He replaced Brian Blair, who replaced JYD. That show was a mess for substitutions.

I think the is greatly hurt by the Tag Team Survivor match. With so many involved it left the well a bit dry dor the other matches. I mean you've got Hillbilly Jim, Koko B Ware and The Rooster in the main event and then the likes of Jumpin' Jim, Danny Davis, Sam Houston and the aforementioned Scott Casey involved when the better balance comes with adding a tag team to the top 3 men in each team.

That account (under various names) has been uploading shoot interviews since 2008. Although, sadly they all get deleted after about 3 weeks when they eventually get caught by RF or Kayfabe Commentaries. So get them while you can before we get that sad feeling of when the account gets shut down.

Instead of asking for the thread to be locked which it won't. Why don't you use a bit of business acumen and promote selling the DVD from Nemesis uncut with all the incidents included? You might make a couple of quid from people who may want to see it?

Your laugh isn't adorable but is contagious. Another great show this week. Looking forward to the next weeks feedback show. One question I always ask my mates is if you had to create an early to mid 90s esq wwe style gimmick for yourselves what would it be? I'm guessing Carls would heavily influenced by the biblical character Methusela.

I dunno with all the drinking through the show I always picture a well spoken Father Jack when it comes to Carl.

 

 

He was suspended in September and returned to the WWF to replace Lawler at the Survivor Series when he got arrested.

 

I think he might have actually quit the company around that time because of it. Which is funny, because he was actually up for grabs around that period and you never think of Michaels being openly available at any point in his WWF career. Surprised WCW didnt really throw the money at him.

Did WCW have any money? This isn't all that long after the psychotic round of cost-cutting, is it? I'm still convinced Bill Watts took away the mats at ringside not because "real men don't need mats" but because they decided it was an unnecessary expense.

 

How out of place would Shawn have looked in WCW in 1993? Shawn Michaels being good at the time, WCW being shit.

Can't help thinking after watching this week's ROH show and specifically Strong / Nakamura that Strong would be a far better fit that Elgin to go to the G1.

 

 

I've started watching ROH these past two weeks since it started airing on Destination America.

 

Holy shit, that Dalton Castle bloke is good. I'd never seen him before, but he's now my favourite entrance in the business.

Just had a bit of a youtube binge on him, great character. If he can match it in the ring then he could be a star.

If you can get hold of it anywhere the 18th of April TV match between Castle and Donovan Dijak is pretty good.

Or you can stick your trainers on and get down to a show. Dont wait for them to come to you, because you could be waiting an awfully long time

Must convince the missus she needs to visit London.

It's a wish, a hope that one day they may decide to take their show out of Central London and try their hand elsewhere. Not me questioning their business practices or 'mission statements'.

Just wondering if anyone has read Chris Kanyon's book? Or James Dixon's Titan Sinking: The decline of the WWF in 1995? Or Hart Strings by Julie Hart?

 

Looking for something a little bit different to read and was wondering if they were any good?

I read the sample on my kindle to Titan Sinking and thought it was very good. Enough for me to get it once my other books are done.
