Okay, I'm sad as fuck and because those supermarket numbers weren't making sense to me at all I did a bit of digging and the actual increase year on year vs March revenue 2019 is over 30% which would make more sense.

It's an interesting thought but something about it doesn't add up. I find it hard to believe that there's only been a 10% increase in supermarket revenue. I'd be interested to see what it was compared to the same period last year. A 10% difference might account for some variation and shortages, but not mass shortages like we've seen. I have no knowledge of the industry but I'd be amazed if supermarkets don't have systems in place to deal with variations to that degree. That there has supposedly been warehouses full of toilet rolls but no infrastructure to get them to the shops in time also doesn't make much sense. I'd be more inclined to believe that supermarkets have intentionally throttled the supply of certain products in order to increase demand and customer spending. It would be a more realistic explanation from a commerce perspective.

Started reading H is for Hawk, because what's better than a book about someone training a hawk that itself is based on a book about someone training a hawk? Struggling to get into the swing of it though, probably due to having recently read a similar book (Common Ground). 

Ironically, I've switched onto The Attention Merchants by Tim Wu. Only a couple of chapters in but I've been laughing out loud at some of the anecdotes. It's discussed the earliest newspapers and the crazed personalities behind them. I can see this being one of my books of the year.

I've got Cosmos by Carl Sagan to read after, which I'm obviously excited about.

Vince needs to embrace it and turn his cameras inwards. A reality show following what goes on in their offices is what Raw 2020 should be all about.

Imagine how many gifs could be spawned from a wobbly zoomy camera catching Vince receiving further bad news on the phone.

Had a wildly vivid dream last night that featured this forum.

There was a new mobile game out where someone had modded an old WWE game. It was kind of augmented reality, you had to visit venues around the country and interact with them to 'perform' there and advance your career.

A few posters from here featured in the dream but as I don't know what you look like, you all appeared how I'd imagine you to look. @WyattSheepMask was obviously wearing the sheep mask.

The venues were all the traditional ones you'd expect, but the highlight was meeting @tiger_rick who was clearly standing on a street in front of a privet hedgerow, selling food at a bright orange stall. His location was Cheeseburger Championship Wrestling.

No idea what it was all about but I cant get Cheeseburger Championship Wrestling out of my head this morning.

@AshC I'm assuming you've got a smartphone. Can you get a high/unlimited data plan with your phone and use that as hotspot?

I was told (could've read it on here tbh) that if you're a front to backer like any normal person, you should do the last wipe back to front to see how much poo you're missing. I've still not tried it.

Had a dream last night that I'd rekindled a long-lost romance. IRL when we dated as teenagers she loved Sugababes. This thread and Sugababes on Spotify has been lovely today. #cookforsteak 

I'd be interested to see how many people buying big batches of shit roll also lost a few grand on cryptocurrencies. Some of them must be doing it because they think they can sell it at a profit?

I'm really not saying this to be woke or whatever. Unless something crazy happens with the virus, more people will die from taking their own lives this year. Especially under 50's. If only governments and the press put in a fraction of the effort into addressing that.

I can't believe I'm more excited for Wrestlemania to be cancelled than seeing the show! Business is booming.

It's worth mentioning that there seems to be a much higher success rate if you ring them as opposed to trying to sort it online. I've read plenty of accounts of similar happening, and they almost always seem to be resolved quickly if you call them. I know you mentioned you will call them, but I just wanted to make it clearer rather than chance it and try and sort it online.

There's one that does the rounds here. Every evening. It's either an ice cream van or some twat playing the jingle from their car on their way home. There's no way they're covering fuel costs in this weather selling ice creams.
