  1. Surely the end game to Lashley/Kofi at Money in the Bank should be Big E challenging Lashley for Summerslam? Have Lashley destroy Kofi and take him out. Big E can win Money in the Bank and declare he’s cashing it at Summerslam to challenge Lashley and avenge his mate. Or you know give it to Ricochet.

  2. Typical of WWE to debut Mansoor last night when he’s apparently been on a 49 match winning streak since debuting for them at one of the Saudi shows and have him lose by DQ in his first match on Raw. Not saying he was going to be the next Goldberg or anything but does seem pointless to build him up that much on all the B shows then immediately have him lose to further a storyline with Carrillo!

  3. Pete Dunne tweeted earlier that as a result of the Pandemic and the Speak Out movement that Attack! Pro Wrestling won’t be returning. Been to many great Attack! Shows over the years so it’s disappointing but very understandable given the number of people that were used in Attack! That were named in the Speak Out movement. You’d hope if British indies continue that there’ll be some sort of vetting system going forward.

Just got reminded yesterday that despite screwing up with Lana once by putting her with Ziggler then having to backtrack because she’d married Rusev for real and nobody was buying the fake on screen coupling.... they later married her to Lashley. Must have gone down well since she’s nowhere to be seen with him now.

And it was revealed at the wedding to Lashley that she had also been sleeping with Liv Morgan too. Great storytelling

  5. You assume they’ll add Sheamus/Riddle for the US Title and some combination of Ziggler and Roode, The Mysterios, The Street Profits and Alpha Academy for the Smackdown tag titles. Maybe a women’s tag title match? Potentially the two battle royals to get everyone else on the card. Doesn’t look a bad card on paper.

More fool any woman who competes in the Royal Rumble next year to earn a Wrestlemania title shot. Just turn up and challenge the champion three weeks before.

Not that they even probably considered this but Ripley was in the final 2 of the Rumble with Belair so it’s not as if she’s not done anything on the main roster.

Charlotte's never leaving WWE if her Dad has any say in the matter.

The extent of Ric Flair's sucking up to Triple H and the other higher ups is a bit embarassing/tragic and hardly befitting of someone who had such a genuine Hall of Fame career.

He could have easily been in the Bruno Sammartino "I'll say whatever the fuck I like" category had he not buggered up his personal life so badly and clearly needs the cash.

The same Ric Flair that WWE gave the perfect retirement to who then went over to TNA to wrestle Jay Lethal? Not saying it’s likely Charlotte will leave WWE but I wouldn’t rule it out.

  8. I can see it being Kurt Angle. Don’t think he’s employed by WWE now  he’s a Hall of Famer and he’s just started the podcast with Conrad Thompson(Who also seems to have big links with AEW with him being on the show last night and already doing podcasts with JR, Tony, Arn and Bischoff).

Lashley/McIntyre is like Bryan/Kingston from 2 years ago, it’s a breath of fresh air title match between two of the hardest workers in the company on the Raw side

Am I the only one who remembers them feuding after Mania last year and having a PPV match for the title? I mean probably yes given how unmemorable the last year has been on the Raw side but still. Looks as if Strowman will be throwing Shane off the roof of the stadium at Mania too.

  10. Yeah I feel like this is set up for Lashley to take the belt from the Miz either on Raw tonight or at Fastlane. They’ll then do Lashley and McIntyre at Mania so Drew can win the belt in front of an audience which he obviously couldn’t do last year. Miz will then probably team with Morrison against Priest and Bad Bunny.

It would and could be a nice story going for a title he's never held...only the story has been going for the title he never lost due to early retirement. Which is already slightly retconned to fit the narrative as that title isn't technically knocking about any more.

Plus he hasn’t held the Universal title either.

Cesaro has to be there a good 10 years now too, not a snowballs chance in hell he'll ever be able to deliver a decent promo at this stage. He was most entertaining when he was tagging with Swagger and Dirty Dutch did their talking for them. Did he have Heyman as a manager at some stage too? Cesaro is so bland I can't honestly remember. Rehashed Dean Malenko music, the stupid tear away suit, berets, Cesaro section, and the annoying ambulance theme tune. So many low effort attempts at defining some sort of a persona and none ever worked.

Yeah Heyman started managing him the night after he won the Andre battle royal at Mania 30. It didn’t really work though because most of Heyman’s promos were about Lesnar breaking the streak rather than Cesaro

I can't see past Charlotte going back-to-back then challenging Asuka at Mania while they are still tag champs, to be honest.

That said, I find it hard to envisage them putting anyone other than Charlotte over in basically anything.

I suppose they could have Lacey eliminate her with the assistance of Ric on the outside ala the 92 Rumble with Hogan and Sid.

Quick question though. Where in the hell did Nakamura come out of, being the one to get the strong booking treatment in the gauntlet? Is he not still in a tag team with Cesaro that's doing nothing and going nowhere?

Yeah it’s really come out of nowhere especially given that he lost to Otis in about 2 minutes a couple of weeks ago.

I'm only a casual viewer so it might be why, but I still don't get the buzz around Darby Allin at all. He looks like such a un-threatening little dweeb. He reminds me of those guys - on the wrong end of their 20's - who still hang around with teenagers, drinking cheap cider in parks (which they scrounged off someone else as they're perpetually skint). That's when they're not trying to nonce underage girls on tumblr. I just can't take him seriously as a threat, especially as a champion.

Are you one of those guys? Sounds like a very detailed ‘description’ there.
