So this show is tonight. Main event was scheduled to be Reigns vs Lesnar for the Universal Title. However as per Twitter, Reigns has tested positive for Covid so the match is off. Brock has now been added to the WWE Title Match with Big E defending against Lesnar, Rollins, Owens and Lashley. Should be an interesting show!

Pretty sure Nitro was on Channel 5 on a Friday night around 7ish. I was only 6/7 when it aired but that seems about right.

Ironically on the subject of the WWE champion losing. Over the last few years when they’ve done Universal Champion vs WWE Champion at Survivor Series every time they’ve done it the Universal Champion has won (Brock vs Styles in 2017 and Bryan in 2018) and (Reigns vs Mcintyre last year) so it’s not a new development but still not great for the belt which is supposed to be the most prestigious in the company. 

I went to a Southwest Wrestling Show in Walkabout in Cardiff last night. In the past when Attack! Ran there it was almost always a sell out. Last night there was maybe 50/60 people watching the show. Overall quality of the show was good but there definitely seems to be less people attending than previously.

I feel like Vince will really like LA Knight. Can see him getting the nod over the other 3 especially with the rumours that Dunne’s contract is up soon as well. 

Great moment for Big E. Still wouldn’t surprise me if they had him drop the belt to Goldberg on the Saudi show though.

Meltzer reporting today that the plan for Adam Cole on WWE’s Main Roster was as a manager for a newly heel Keith Lee similar to the dynamic with Lashley and Lio Rush a few years back. There were also apparently plans to change his name as they didn’t want two ‘Coles’ on the roster. Can see why he jumped ship if it’s true.

The worst part of all of that was putting him in the title match in the first place with Rollins in the Hell in a Cell. Ending with The Fiend winning by DQ because Rollins hit him with a hammer or whatever it was. Dreadful booking.

Surely the end game to Lashley/Kofi at Money in the Bank should be Big E challenging Lashley for Summerslam? Have Lashley destroy Kofi and take him out. Big E can win Money in the Bank and declare he’s cashing it at Summerslam to challenge Lashley and avenge his mate. Or you know give it to Ricochet.
