Thought I'd dip in for the Heatwave event. Was alright. Intriguing use of the NXT UK people that turned up. Is it dead?

Well I’d say they likely don’t care about it considering on their TV’s they are currently airing a tournament to crown a new UK Champion and yet on this show the New Champion whose win hasn’t aired yet showed up

  2. I do wonder if Rollins is going to win MITB and cash in during Reigns and Lesnar again. That way they get the belt off Reigns without him having to lose to keep him strong to face The Rock at Mania next year. Really hope that’s not the route they go down but it wouldn’t surprise me.

  3. From Cultaholic:

Following reports over the weekend that Ric Flair was training for an in-ring return, the 73-year-old has confirmed he is indeed making a comeback for one final match.

In an announcement today, it was revealed Flair will return to the ring on July 31 at an independent wrestling event from the Nashville Fairgrounds. Billed as from Jim Crockett Promotions, the event 'Ric Flair's Last Match' will be produced by Thuzio, a Triller company, and air on FITE.

"I'm going to walk that aisle, one last time to prove once and for all, that to be the Man, you've got to beat the Man," Flair said.

Flair's opponent will be revealed at a later date.

July 31 will be Flair's first match in 11 years. He last performed inside the squared circle on a September 2011 show from TNA Wrestling against Sting. Flair has gotten physical inside the squared circle since then, most recently at AAA TripleMania in August of 2021 when he accompanied Andrade El Idolo to the ring for his match against Kenny Omega.

Rumours it’s going to be him and FTR against the Rock and Roll Express and someone else. Can’t see it ending well

  4. As per the Torch:

Former WCW and WWE star Scott Hall is on life support at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga. after suffering three heart attacks last night, PWTorch has learned. He had hip replacement surgery last week, but suffered a serious complication when a blood clot got loose.

Hall was first pushed as a main event act in the mid-1980s in the AWA as a tag team partner with Curt Hennig. He would go to prominence nationally as Razor Ramon in WWE. In WCW, he and Kevin Nash formed The Outsiders and helped elevate WCW Nitro in the ratings. Hulk Hogan joined the group which was called the NWO.

Fucking Butch. Like he’s a dog. Christ.

Expect to see him and Gunther released within the calendar year.

Feels as if Vince has seen Peaky Blinders and gone ‘HAHAHAA PAL THEY TALK FUNNY….WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THAT SHORT ENGLISH GUY IN NXT? PUT HIM A FLAT CAP AND CALL HIM BUTCH. GREAT SHIT PAL’

  6. It’s such a WWE move that after heralding NXT 2.0 as this place where new stars are made and they are getting rid of all the old and stale talent on the roster they

    Spoiler

Put the NXT title on Dolph Ziggler. Can’t wait for Kofi to get brought down there for a really fresh feud.

Who was the first Heel to win a Wrestlemania main event ?

      Hide contents

Yokozuna at WM 9, kind of a gotcha one as most people tend to say HHH at WM2000

    Spoiler

Well technically that wasn’t the main event because Hogan beat him after he beat Bret?

  8. As per PW Insider:

By Mike Johnson on 2022-02-24 15:28:00

WWE star Cesaro has quietly exited WWE after his current contract expired, PWInsider.com has confirmed.    He last performed for WWE on 2/11, losing to Happy Corbin on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

We are told the two sides had been in negotiations but had not come to terms on a new agreement.  This would be a case of his contract expiring, so there would be no 90-day non compete.  Cesaro had been slated to be at tomorrow's Smackdown taping in Hershey, PA, but will obviously no longer be there.

Cesaro, 41, had been with WWE since 2011 when he inked a developmental deal with then-WWE developmental territory FCW.  Over the course of his run with the company, Cesaro won the first-ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 30 and had a run with the WWE United States Championship as well as Raw and Smackdown Title runs with Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura and Tyson Kidd.

While had a long run, he was also consistently underutilized during his WWE run.  Among fellow talents, he's universally considered one of the best and toughest in-ring performers by any definition of the word in professional wrestling.  He can likely punch his own ticket anywhere he chooses to land, whether that be coming to terms with WWE or competing elsewhere.

Prior to his WWE run, the Swiss star, under his real name Claudio Castagnoli, had a tremendous run as one half of the Kings of Wrestling with Chris Hero in Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling NOAH, CZW and CHIKARA.

    Another AEW signing you’d assume?

  9. Wrestle Votes on Twitter who are normally very reliable are reporting ‘This Shane McMahon story could ripple effects for years to come. It goes beyond anything that may or may not have happened Saturday night’

He’ll probably have a podcast with Conrad in 6 Months

  10. You’d assume Reigns and Lesnar is the plan for Mania so one will drop the title tonight. Lashley to beat Brock after Reigns interference then Brock to win the Rumble maybe? If not that then I can see Styles winning it.

WALTER's new name is Gunther Stark.

WWE recently trademarked the name “Gunther Stark.” A quick Google search shows that there was a Gunther Stark who severed as a Nazi Germany military commander during World War II.

That’ll be Marcel Barthel renamed Adolf next week and Fabian Aichner can be Benito as he’s Italian.
