Given they wanted someone reliable, and that’s a “worker”, if not Seth, and not Cody (as that too would make Cody look “weak”) who would have been better placed for this “worker” title, do we think?
Should have been Bossman’s time.Â

I know there was a story that they were interested in Hiroshi Tanahashi who was Suzuki's tag partner at the time. Johnny Ace was supposedly sent to hire him but hired Suzuki by mistake because he assumed they must be after the big one. I don't believe it for a second, but pretty amusing to think about.Â
Well Johnny did hire the wrong one legged man instead of Zach Gowen so it’s very possibleÂ

I presume Tony Chimmell has retired now? I used to like his ring announcing. Penzer still does it in impact, and he does it well. Maybe Tripper/Vince should see whether Jeremy Borash is good to do their ring anouncing.
Yeah Chimel retired about 10 years ago I think.Â

So we’re all in agreement that Snoop Dogg should dethrone Roman yeah?Â

Nailed on Charlotte/Rhea headlines night 1 because of equality or soke bollocks
My guess is the tag title match opens night 2.
Maybe soaking your bollocks might help you to be less of a shitposter in fairnessÂ

Also got reminded on Twitter yesterday that after being managed by Zelina for a while he then became part of the faction with Rollins, Murphy and AOP which feels like a fever dream now until he went back down to NXT.Â

Could see them turning Mcintyre after Mania as well potentially. Also some history with him and Cody as former tag champions together(very short lived).Â

I wonder if they’ll open Night One with Owens/Sami against the Usos? Essentially Bookending the show with the downfall of the Bloodline? Probably the best place for it if it isn’t going to headline Night 1.Â
-
Whoever he faces in the meantime I feel like he’ll drop the title to Gunther eventuallyÂ

Kane and Big Show definitely fell into this list particularly with their run in the Authority in 2013/2014. Proper change the channel vibes. Dull, slow and plodding matches and beating upcoming guys regularly.Â

I do wonder if it’s going to be Dom/Damian Priest against Rey/Escobar. I feel like they’ll want to get Priest on the main card and they do seem to be featuring Escobar along with Rey quite a bit on TV. Plus it’ll hide some of Dom’s in ring weaknesses as a Singles.Â

Got a terrible feeling it’ll end up with Owens costing Sami rather than the Usos

Ordinarily I’d be in complete agreement, but Dolph Ziggler has turned back up again recently and he has first feud dibs
Plus they already feuded for months and swapped the NXT title last year so please not againÂ

So close yet so far! Thanks for doing this @Glenryck Pilchards

I’m getting on Mansoor to win the Rumble.Â
-
It feels to me as if the end game will be Roman making Sami enter the Rumble in order to stop anyone challenging Roman for Mania. Sami is eliminated by whoever wins the Rumble whether it’s Cody or The Rock. Then the Smackdown after the Rumble they’ll do the turn. Can see them doing Roman and Sami at Elimination Chamber in Montreal and then branching out to Owens/Sami against the Usos at Mania.Â

Sounds like he’s going to inject a lethal dose of poison….where’s Hogan?Â

They sort of did it at Rumble 99 didn’t they with the recording of Foley saying I Quit

Think it was Booker T who did the bump over the top in a Royal Rumble? 2002 maybe?Â
-
Wouldn’t be surprised if they did the Brock match finally.Â

If anything I can see the main event of Wrestlemania being Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns. Cody will likely be back for the Rumble so it makes sense that he’ll win that and challenge Roman. Unless of course with Triple H in charge priorities have shifted but to me when he got injured he seemed the most likely challenger for Roman
