Steve Austin posting actual wrestling stuff on his Instagram, he's gonna tag with Cody, isn't he?

Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in his corner with the Rock in Roman’s.

  2. This one is on behalf of my Dad. When I was about 10 we were driving down a dual carriageway and there were a group of Seagulls eating another dead seagull in the middle of the road. He didn’t have time to brake so went through the middle of them and luckily we thought we’d missed all of them.

As we got closer to home we noticed a police car following us who then indicated for us to pull over. My Dad got out and the police officer uttered the immortal words ‘I’ve pulled you over for two reasons. One you were going a bit fast back there. And two you have a dead seagull stuck to the front of your car’. My Dad got a ticking off from the officer and then had to spend 5 minutes trying to remove the seagull which was somehow wedged into the front of the car.

  3. My Mam for years has had a fear of walking in the snow/ice in case of falling yet to my knowledge has never fallen in such conditions yet has fallen numerous times in circumstances which were mostly her fault.

Once when I was a kid we’d just moved house so she popped round to see the neighbours and introduce herself. As she was walking out looking happy with the impression she’d given she tripped over their front step and face planted the pavement. Nothing was hurt other than her pride and probably the neighbour’s opinion of her. Another time when I was a kid she decided to empty a pan of oil that had been used for chips and for some reason that she still can’t explain decided to just pour it into a bin bag. She then attempted to put the bin bag in the bin outside not realising that the oil would just leak out of the bottom. She then proceeded to slip slowly on the oil until she was doing the splits( Ooh Kenneth Williams) out of the back door between the kitchen and the back garden and couldn’t get up for an hour. Don’t think her legs have ever recovered from that one.

I actually thought Nick Aldis couldn't have looked less fussed that Raw had signed Andrade.  Perhaps he's been watching Rampage.  Like me, Aldis is much more interested in Bron Breakker!

Sidenote, I think Andrade might have forgot his wife's name there.  "Say hello to... uh... mia amore".

I’m pretty sure he actually said ‘Say hello to Zelina Vega for me’. Don’t think they’ve ever really mentioned him and Charlotte actually being together in real life on screen.

    Kairi is a pirate.

In one of the Women’s Rumbles Cole described her as having a ‘Yacht Persona’. So she’s also the daughter of Tugboat which differentiates her.

Former pro darts player Paul Nicholson is one as well. He’s mimicked Punk twice. Doing the whole getting on one knee during the walk on and shouting it’s clobbering time deal. He sat on the stage crossed leg like Punk as Phil Taylor walked on to try and wind him up. Think he lost that match. Also held up a Nexus scarf during one of those walk ons.

Now he does commentary on the pro tour and regularly mentions wrestling/wrestlers as references. Mostly pointless references at that.

There was another player Alex Roy? I think who used to use Randy Orton’s old theme song and do his signature pose as well.

  7. When I went to Uni I was given a load of tinned food by my Grandparents. I got there and realised I had no idea how to use a Tin Opener. Several YouTube tutorial videos later and I eventually got it. Wasn’t my proudest moment.

  8. It’s just the gift that keeps on giving this week:

’Fightful has learned about an argument that took place near the start of AEW Collision between CM Punk and Jack Perry over an issue that many took with a planned spot of Perry's’

    Heartstopper Series 2

I honestly don't think people understand what an important show this is for young LGBTQ people and it's quite mad that it hasn't had more written/said/spoken about it. Netflix should be screaming about this from the rooftops the massive weirdos.

Sure we had Queer As Folk growing up, which was groundbreaking, but I probably wouldn't let my 13yo watch it (although I would've been 14 when it came out. No pun intended) so it must be so amazing for young queer kids to see such an array of representation in one show that is aimed at them.

And its a good show! Its really well written, fantastically acted and is just brilliantly made. There are also some really important themes broached which lends it some heft, but it's generally fairly light going. The scene in the last episode with Nick and Charlie made me shed a few tears such was the impact.

Watching these two series with my eldest has been some of the best experiences I've had watching TV. A massive recommendation still.

Agreed on Heartstopper. As someone who only came out last year the scenes of anxiety that Nick showed about coming out massively resonated with me. Such an important show and as you say deserves wider recognition.

Big Show seems to think the original plan once negotiations had started with Mayweather and he'd been contacted to come back, was for a tag with Mayweather and himself as the heels against Batista & Rey as the faces, which was scuppered when Rey got injured beforehand. But prior to all the plans changing at various points, it's feasible, though they may not have bothered turning anyone, for the longest time they weren't bothered about face vs face.

I’ve read it and heard it mentioned on Bruce Prichard’s podcast that the original plan for Mayweather was to team him with Shane McMahon against Mysterio and Oscar De La Hoya at that Mania. Does seem as if plans changed a lot that year.
