I *hope* this is one of those bits of booking they do prior to a Rumble where Elias can get revenge by eliminating Corbin and they think they will get a reaction. I'm half expecting Lashley v Elias for the I title at Mania, they've heard the reactions to Elias enough to turn him, hopefully it doesn't grind to a standstill. Except it will.
Surely Kevin Owens is coming for Lashley at mania?

That's the thing. It feels exactly like the matches Brock had with Bryan and Styles. No build with an elite worker for a match you know Brock is winning.
Question is will Brock put his working boots on for Balor or will he get the Ambrose treatment.

They used Anvil and Bearers deaths in angles, what's the chance of his tributeĀ getting interrupted by a heel leading to a big boot, a leg drop and everybody's favourite daft old racist pointing at a large sign?

I found it more entertaining than the currant product . . .

Even with the popularity of wrestling at the time, no way they get 200,000 people into the Silverdome that night unless Hogan headlines.
Kevin Nash would have got those numbers.

Yeah Corbyn was right not to. Why unite the Tories behind May? Let them eat themselves. Not sure why people are criticizing him for it. Also, to the public and business' etc this is an utter mess of the Tories making.
Several Tory MPs have said they would leave the party if Boris became leader according to the Guardian. Even the Tories hate that self serving mug.
Because the press have to beat Corbyn with some kind of stick. And this is the one they've decided to reach with.

Since questions seem fair game here, can I ask what people's thoughts are on Corbyn 'dropping the ball' as far as calling for a no confidence vote?Ā I'm seeing two distinct camps on Twitter today (as you'd expect).Ā "Tories were there for the taking, he should have fired the kill shot, now they've beaten him to it" and "Man's a genius, he knew this would end up making them even more vulnerable etc etc"Ā As very much a 'casual' fan, I don't know the meat to be able to establish the significance or lack of, of how it's played out.
Labour going for a no confidence vote would have been predicated on the DUP and Tory rebels siding with them. Which almost certainly wouldn't have happened if Corbyn had tabled the motion. The only way the no confidence vote would have happened is it it came from within the Tories themselves.

Did they not televise it?Ā
I was there so only flicked through the show when back home
It was televised on the following NXT. Same as the four corner tag.

What I find interesting is how many of those aren't homegrown stars. Ā Smackdown is very reliant on the import guys who've come through NXT in the last few years.
Outside of Brawn Strowman, how many homegrown stars has NXT actually produced since, well, the Shield? Ā The mid card is awash with NXT alumni but if we're honest a lot of them haven't lived up to expectations for whatever reason.
Bray Wyatt was WWE champion (although he's probably around the same time as the Shield).
Rusev was after the Shield and was a star for a time.
Baron Corbin is prominently placed.
StrugglingĀ other than that though.
And Velveteen Dream is going to be THE guy.

It was only about a year and a bit ago he was being talked about as a potential main eventer. Has anyone ever fallen so far so fast?

And considering they already did a tournament for a vacant title at Survivor Series a couple of years ago when Rollins got injured and Reigns won it.
I have literally zero recollection of this.

Even more so. Vacant title going into Survivor Series. Deadly Game 2.0

Iām on board the Bray train too!

Nash rotten at comedy? Don't you know he won the title in Madison square garden in front of 29,000 screaming fans?

I don't listen to Lawler's podcast but i often read write ups where he's whinging about political correctness etc. If there was a MeToo sweep in wrestling, I'd make an educated guess that he'd be shitting it.

Christ can you imagine . . . given the stuff Marty Jannetty will happily say in a shoot interview as if it's a joke. Imagine the things he won't talkĀ about.

I was really hoping TheĀ Bar were going to get a face turn and go after the Bludgeon Brothers. Fans are ready to cheer them I think. Bloody injuries.Ā
