Add Mastiff to Bootcamp! Just saw a post from TCW about it.

Who if anyone will WWE want to pick up from TNA? Bobby Roode maybe? Angle? Joe? Magnus?
Â
I could see Roode and Storm getting signed for sure. Magnus would be in with a good shot also i think as would Joe. EC3 has come on leaps and bounds since leaving WWE despite being in TNA, so i think they'd give Bateman another look at this point. Aries is another name i think they might look at now who maybe they wouldn't have really looked at in the past. But with Bryan, Devitt and KENTA on the roster, he wouldn't look out of place.
Â
Bully Ray has the whole nostalgia thing going for him, and he's a much better singles star now than he ever was in WWE imo. So i think he could be of value, but at worst i could see him and Devon getting the HOF treatment. But i actually think he'd work well as the #2 Heyman guy. Putting him in the role they tried out with Axel would work pretty well.
Â
Angle will get the HOF treatment for sure and maybe a couple of high profile matches if he's clean, fit and able to pass the medical.
Â
IF this is the end of TNA and they dont end up on another network. This could be good for the WWE product. Roster depth has been an issue for some time, so a small handful of TNA guys could mix things up a little. If nothing more it creates some fresh matches.
-
Not sure if it's been mentioned or not. But Nathan Jones is in the new Mad Max flick.
-
There's never been a good women's match in WWF/WWE.Â
Nakano vs Alundra at SummerSlam 94 wasnt bad. But as a general rule, no. The division jsut isnt allowed to get any traction and you cant have a classic in 2mins.
-
Apart from the disastrous Heroes of wrestling is there any other independent shows: that have gone down as the absolutely worst shows ever?
Â
Me & my mates have watched heroes of wrestling. And got a kick out of how bad it is, so trying to get a list of shit together. Ha
Â
While likely not the worst of all time, the '6:05 - The Reunion' PPV from World Wrestling Legends in 2006 was pretty terrible. This is the same PPV Kanyon came out on.
Â
The card..
Â
Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Iron Sheik) vs. Jim Duggan
Rick Steiner vs. Virgil
Disco Inferno vs. Koko B. Ware
Greg Valentine (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs. Jimmy Snuka

So they only went and played the whole of Superunknown from start to finish.. that'll do!
Â
Was ace!! Painless journey back to Sonisphere after was a nice bonus too. As far as
-
Jerry Lynn i coulda stared at that all day and not got that.
Â
As for the Briscoe's, literally the last time i saw either of them was back in the really old ROH/CZW days when they were stick thin teenagers, i stumbled across a recent pic of them recently and they look a right pair of mean fuckers, how are they in the ring these days?
Â
They are really good, surprised WWE hasn't picked them up yet, good promo skills on the both of them aswell.
Â
I think WWE not picking them has a lot more to do with the fact they're a PR nightmare...
Â
"The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!!Â
... try and teach my kids that there's nothing wrong with that and I'll fucking shoot you"

I always thought this guy was going to be the next big name on the heel side of things, then months later he was gone. But then i found this gem..

wales comic con site is down atm for maintenance
Â
Their forums are up and they announce stuff their first.. Click here
Â
They also announce stuff later via their Facebook.. Click here
-
Then"Non Starter" as you put it was perfectly professional. Realised well ahead of time not enough tickets were being sold and promptly refunded everyone who had paid, and the same team have been organizing Wales Comic Con without a hitch for several years now.
Â
And a damn fine convention it is too!

I think this is the perfect time to discuss this sundays Slammiversary

MAIN EVENT: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Eric Young vs. MVP
Â
Kurt Angle will announce the next TNA Hall Of Fame Inductee
Â
Is the MVP match actually happening? I know he suffered the injury at PCW Supershow 4, and he really did look to be in a hell of a lot of pain with it on the Saturday night. I guess as TNA had already shot the 2 weeks of TV leadining in to the PPV (or i believe they had) they're in a tough spot in terms of changing plans. But if he can't go, he can't go.
Â
As for the HOF spot, they really should just give it up. Having anyone other than Jeff Jarrett (or maybe a dual induction with his Dad, although i beleive they stil aren't on good terms) as the first inductee was a joke. Then they had the whole clusterfuck with Angle's induction and it becoming an angle. But as they seem set on making it happen, Hardy seems as good a choice as anyone. Does this mean he'll appear as himself and his 'other' self on the same show then?

Watching Rampage Brown throw up after winning a belt last night was some what strange. Watching him then smear some of it across his chest with a huge smile on his face just reminded me of how good he is at what he does lol
-
Just watching my Nitro 95 blu ray (great to have every episode one disc!) and its the episode with the Sullivan dressed as a woman jumping Hogan.. I'm not sure which is worse.. Kevin Sullivan in drag or the fact he shave's Hogan's beard into a Hitler stache!

Gutted I missed White Lightning make an impact in PCW. Also gutting, it's going to cost me to do the Carlito show. I promised I'd do a mate's 30th that night and said I'd be fashionably late, shooting down to the Midlands from Preston after the show, but not realizing I've already agreed to another 30th down there on the Friday. Train down after work on the Friday night, then heading back up on the Saturday for PCW, only to head BACK DOWN, and then back up on the Sunday. I probably wouldn't do it if attendance wasn't free as it becomes a very pricy weekend, but I'm going to make it happen.
Â
Fucking stupid mates having birthdays. Selfish bastards.
Â
The free show is completely out for me, will be the first PCW show i've missed since my first in November. But on the plus side, at least i'll be at Glastonbury. So it's a good excuse lol.
-
Its almost 6am, so here's a whole bunch of quick thoughts on the weekend..
Â
A great 2 days in Preston. Not that i've ever attended a PCW show i haven't enjoyed. The MVP injury was unfortunate, but the Andrews/Travis/Bubblegum replacement was insane! ReDRagon made a great showing of themselves too, would love to see them back sometime. Was pretty cool to hold both of the ROH tag straps. I held the TV strap when Ciampa turned up at Road to Glory, so only the World strap to hold now. It's like wrestling Pokemon, gotta catch them all! A great weekend of action from top to bottom, can't fault any of it. Ki/Mastiff was definitely one of the stand outs for me. Juvi is really laid back, nice guy. Helms is pretty chilled also. Snow is just as you'd expect, awesome guy. Surprise Borash appearance was fun. Lionheart rocks a suit waaaaay better than any of Evolution and was a welcome surprise, the guy is gold with a live mic. Danny Hope continues to solidify his spot with consistantly great performances. And Uhaa Nation continues to get insane reactions while delivering in the ring. He jumped out of the ring and down to the floor to give my Mrs a hug too lol
-
Well, you can't find him to give a deposit without an address! I'm into the old school way of doing things. Face to face, or on the phone.
Â
Agreed on the address for sure. Saw the name of the studio and completely missed the lack of address.. almost 7am and haven't slept..
-
Dude, I'm with Herbie. The cards are awesome, but when I get a gay tat I book that shit over the phone.
Â
Every tat i book i do in the studio and put my deposit down there and then to secure the slot. Ive got plenty of ink but have never once called a studio or an artist lol.

Â
Intresting article saying that the new wwe video game will feature a massive wcw mode, similar to the wrestlemania mode on the current game. Goldberg could be to 2k15 what the warrior was to 2k14. Sting's name is being branded round aswell.
Â
Wwe are really doing a good job of the wcw libary, wasnt 4 out of the top 5 selling dvds wcw ones last year? Theres still a big market for it.
Â
I've not bought the games for a while - what's WM mode?
Â
It was a mode in which you went through each wrestlemania and played out different matches, completing different targets along the way
Â
Sounds a bit like Historic Mode on GiantGram 2000 - does it have a thing where you have to hit certain moves or spots within a certain time frame to get points? If so, that sounds fuggin' ace. Might pick myself up a cheap 360 or PS3 to play. WCW version sounds even more intriguing.
Â
There are in match objectives. It plays a lot like Legends of WrestleMania from a few years ago.

Check out this song, featuring ex thin lizzy members, personally, i love it!
Â
ahh man, Black Star Riders are headlining The Steelhouse Festival in my hometown in July (along with Europe, Sebastian Bach and The Answer) and im away that weekend for my friends wedding...bad fucking timing
Â
Met BSR is December, really nice bunch of guys. Their set was fucking incredible also! The surprise appearance of Motorhead's Phil Campbell joining them on stage for some of the set was also pretty awesome!

I imagine it was during her husband's feud with Shawn Michaels in 1996.
Â
IYH 8: Beware of Dog 1 if i'm not mistaken. After the great double pin finish.

Great news if true as it's only a couple of hours from York. Won't be getting a ticket until closer to the time though as i simply can't afford it right now. I now attend every PCW show, Tidal when i can and will be hitting the upcoming Dragon Gate tour (on top of the 4 festivals we have lined up this year). So money is tight right now. Looking forward to this month's tapings though, should be well worth the journey down to London.

Why is Ted Dibiase dressed like Ted Dibiase?

I imagine its something to do with this.. http://www.cagesideseats.com/videos/2013/1...e-video-trailer

Walked right past truthofsin and his mrs (cracking hair) on my way into the venue. Fretted for a while that Madge and her long-haired son (we hope) weren't going to make this one but those fears were assuaged when Madge shuffled past me and my mate to take her usual front row seat.
Â
Almost spat my coffee over my laptop.. LOL!
Â
Was a great night in Preston, and the start of a long weekend for me and the mrs. As we were hitting both Spring Slam and the Comic Con on the Sunday, we figured traveling all the way back over to York to travel all the way back was too mcuh effort. So made a weekend of it.
Â
Not a lot that can be said about Spring Slam that Raid hasn't already mentioned. But here are a few thoughts..
Â
I fully agree the Dar thing is going somewhere, his refusual to shake hands with Corino post match points towards a heel turn too. I wouldn't be upset to see it, and i think it would add another dimension to his character and i get the feeling he'd fit the role beautifully.
Â
Trav/Devitt II was glorious, just a fantastic match from top to bottom and has to be a MOTY contender. Also the second show in a row where Devitt has relocated my seat to the third row lol.
Â
Terry Funk was a real class act to meet and talk to. Just a really nice guy who seemed genuinely please to be there and meeting the fans. Got myself an old black n white 8x10 of him with the NWA title signed. So a welcome addition to the collection. Petey, Corino and Fox were all decent guys too. Didn't plan to meet Rikishi and Vader on Friday as i had photo ops booked with them at Comic Con. Although ended up chatting to Rikishi briefly while waiting for my pic with Devitt during the interval. Managed to get a pic i knocked up signed by Devitt too, so that was a nice bonus. The Q&A with Funk was great also, just a really great guy to listen to.
Â
Comic Con on Sunday was fun, the addition of the 2 PCW mini-shows didnt hurt it any. The ring setup in the car park was different and they got a fairly decent crowd in the end. The matches were all fun and they just about beat the weather. They filmed the whole thing, so i expect those matches will see the light of day on a release down the road. Got to meet a few people from the PCW fan forum and PowerButchi. So was a great day out all in all. Also had my arm around Allison Mack, so life could be much worse lol.
Â
Me and the Mrs are still fairly new to PCW, with our first show being Supershow 3 last November. But we haven't missed a show since, and don't intend to short of any shows that clash with festivals (like the upcoming free show). We always have a blast over in Preston and i can't speak highly enough of the PCW experience. It really is in a league of its own.
-
Chris Masters is the coolest guy ever. Thanks to all that came to Wrexham today!
Â
Good times were had, great day out! Me and the Mrs will be back for our third WCC next year.

Looking forward to watching this when the blu ray comes out. We got held up in traffic on the way over and arrived just as the Money in the Bank match was about to start. The real irony is that we set off earlier than we ever have for a Friday show, only to arrive later than we ever have.
