  1. According to Wikipedia, the Wrestlemania 29 card is as follows:

John Cena Vs The Rock II WWE Championship

Sheamus Vs Randy Orton Vs Alberto Del Rio Vs Dolph Ziggler Fatal Four Way World Heavyweight Championship

Beth Phoenix Vs Kharma WWE Divas Championship

The Miz Vs Daniel Bryan Intercontiental Championship

    The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar

Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs Cm Punk

    Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels

    Edge Vs Christian

    Rey Mysterio Vs Sin Cara

A.J Vs Kelly Kelly in a stripper match

20 Man Preshow Battle Royal, For #1 Contender to join Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz

Can't wait for that stripper match.

  2. I was 3 years old at the time so I have very little knowledge on the subject, but I've just been reading a little about the steroid trial in 94. I know that Hogan said that McMahon had never given him steroids, but I've also read they had a massive falling out over it. What the fuck etc.?

  3. Yep, that exact concept has been done for the past few months. There was that awesome opening segment with Angle, Hardy, Styles and Ray not too long ago that was exactly this. Seems strange as fuck that they're calling it a new concept, especially with it being so recent.

It could be quite fun tomorrow night though, they need to have a few segments witv Kaz and Daniels trying to back out of the match. They were gold with Sting and Hogan last week.

  4. Luke Gallows has chucked this on his Facebook page.

"Have officially signed my TNA contract. Thank you to all my family, friends and fans for their support and am looking forward to this new opportunity! - LG"

It was going to happen sooner or later, he's a really good hand. Get Cliff Compton under a mask as well.

  5. Just saw Savages and had one of the worst cinema experiences I've had in some time, if not ever. I went to one with the lady in a remote part of Brooklyn, tempted by $7 tickets. Everybody in the theatre talked through the trailers, which is acceptable at a reasonable level, but they were practically shouting over the sound. There were people up and walking around all the time, some of which were kids running in and out. From the minute the film started until the minute it finished there was an autistic kid sat at the front rocking back and forth in his seat constantly going "MMM.....MMM.....MMM" which, although there wasn't much that could've been done about it, was annoying in itself. However, it wasn't half as annoying as the constant laughter at trivial shit like whenever the words "motherfucker" and "bitch" were used, along with shouts of "OH SHIT!" "DAAAMNN" and "FUCKING CRAZY BITCH, OH!" It seemed like 95% of the audience thought they were at an audience-participation themed performance art, and were only there to laugh and/or drool over the drug theme of the film. Truly one of the most irritating and, quite frankly, shocking cinema experiences I've had.

As for the film itself, it's a bit shit. Promising trailer, interesting beginning, then a rubbish build-up to a lazy ending. The three main characters are so unlikable that it's hard to give a fuck if they prevail. There are plenty of seemingly important parts of the story that either don't make sense or are just touched upon and never mentioned again. For something that seemed to have a lot of potential, it was remarkably disappointing.

  6. I usually hate it when people have this attitude about films, but the worst part of Inception really is the unanimous praise it gets, it's so undeserving. I hate talking about that film with its fans because the worlds "incredible", "amazing" and "perfect" are used, none of which describe it accurately.

I didn't mind it, but the plot is badly structured and is almost....deep-for-the-sake-of-being-deep, for lack of a better term. For me, it's a likable cast and a decent watch, but nothing more.

  7. Sheldon is the most unlikable character I've seen in a long time. Everyone says "oh but that's the idea!", but that's such a load of shit. If that's the idea then why do I get angry whenever he's on the screen?

Even the perfect Kaley Cuoco can't make it watchable. Fortunately (I think), the missus always has it on so I can sneak a peak at her every so often.

  8. I liked Seth Rollins, but Christ, he really needs to lose that heavy metal schtick. He looked a right plum when he pretended to be a 15 year old fanny in a mosh pit during his entrance, kicking and swinging his legs around. The moshing was stupid at the end as well.

The Ascension's entrance is the coolest thing in WWE.

  9. TNA Ultimate Fan Experience package at ShopTNA.com

This for for the upcoming Destination X ppv, but does anyone know if they do these for every ppv they have in Orlando?

They did for Hardcore Justice (the first one) when I was there. They also do a similar thing for Impact tapings where you email for a free VIP pass. I knew nothing about either of these things when I went (not that I would have paid $100 for the ECW show), so I was stood there queuing for ages like a mong.

  10. Just got in from seeing Rock of Ages.

It's quite enjoyable, and if it wasn't for the two main characters it would be an almost flawless musical film. Seriously, it's a complete mystery how these two got cast in a film so heavily reliant on the conventions of rock and roll. The girl wouldn't look out of place as a Chelsea Made cast member, and as for the guy...well, Kevin Nash's "swimmers with prison tattoos" quote springs to mind, except this guy doesn't even have the tattoos. (Always nice to see Big Kev by the way, even if it's a background role). These two pretty people with their perfect skin, perfect hair and pitch-perfect voices do not belong in such roles. Not to mention that every cheesy cliche under the sun is used for them.

On the other hand, the supporting cast is absolutely spot on. Russell Brand (who I usually detest) is brilliant, although he can't seem to decide if he wants to do a cockney or Liverpool accent which is quite hard to ignore. Alec Baldwin is a joy as always, as are Paul Giamatti and Tom Cruise. I have a new love in Malin Akerman as well.

So yeah, really crappy lead characters, really fun supporting cast. They could have done without using Don't Stop Believing as well. I'm not sure if that was the song used in the musical, but if it was they should've changed it. That song has been way overexposed in the past few years it's hard to take it seriously anymore.

  11. Here's a link to a 50 minute chunk of the interview/Q&A. It's a good watch.

    Punk Comic-Con interview

It's not in character at all, and most of the audience are older teens or adults, so it's clearly an audience that appreciates Punk's honestly. It's pretty much a shoot interview with questions from the audience. There are a few great stories about Ace and a Yakuza incident in Japan that are worth hearing.

    Fapper.

    Ha!

    The joke's on you...

I'll get another one off from your Ryback sig!
