  1. I'm off to Metal camp this year for the first time. Although there seems to be a few too many 'power metal' and 'folk metal' bands atm. But Immortal headlining, can't wait!

Still listening to Mastodon - Crack The Skye (if that counts as metal?!) more than any other album. I don't think i will ever tire of listening to it.

  2. Ninja Assassin - despite getting a bunch of * reviews, we decided to hit the cinema for this yesterday. * is justified if you're going in expecting anything other than what it's meant to be, a ridiculous, gorey action movie. I enjoyed it, we cracked open a few beers and it was a good time. The story is actually pretty serious, it's paper thin and i couldn't really have given a toss about it, but the action is slick and brutal.

That sums up my thoughts exactly on the film. I enjoyed it.

  3. What is Jeff Hardy's status with TNA?

Was his appearance on the January 4th iMPACT! a one-off, will he be making occasional appearances, or is he in full-time but unable to have been squeezed in to last week's iMPACT! and last night's ppv?

From what i understand, no-one seems to know. The general thought is that it was a one-off for now. And they are waiting to make sure he doesn't go to jail! If he doesn't, i guess they will look to sign him full-time.

  4. I remember on the "This Is Extreme" montage on some of my ECW videos, there is a segment where Steve Corino is arguing with Fred Durst.

What was the deal with that?

If you didn't know already, it was at a Limp Bizkit gig.

I can't add much else. Except i watched a dvd recently (i'm not sure what one) and Corino was cutting a promo backstage, and then storms off and onto the stage that they were playing. Is there a possibility that ECW and Limp Bizkit both had events/gigs and the same venue so something was set-up?

  5. About 10-15 years ago the local paper here (Isle of Wight County Press) had a big article, with photos, about a young female wrestler from the Isle of Wight. She was apparently wrestling the womans UK champion i think. Or at the very least a popular/well knownish UK female wrestler.

This was a long time ago and i have no idea why it came in too my mind today, but i just wondered if anyone knew who she was?

  6. Avatar 3D

It does indeed look stunning. I thought the best effects were when there was water, but this wasn't used that much. The landscapes, colour and sound are all great.

The actual film itself is also good but not perfect. It goes along at a nice pace, constantly keeping you interested. I will definetly be going to see it again.

  7. The Box

A small wooden box arrives on the doorstep of a married couple, who know that opening it will grant them a million dollars and kill someone they don't know.

I enjoyed it. A film (like Donnie Darko and Southland Tales) that you will want to talk about as soon as its finished and probably will want to watch again.

I think i will always like Richard Kelly's film because he has some interesting ideas. I even enjoyed Southland Tales because of this, although i realise it isn't a very good film!

  8. `Paranormal Activity`

SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read

I`m using spoilers here in case someone actually thinks its all real!

Theres 3 ending to this movie. The Cinema ending is the one shes a demon and throws her boyfriend. I downloaded the `police` ending

thankfully they changed the ending for this film as the `police` ending seems very anti-climatic.

But apparently the original `throat slit` ending is quite disturbing. anyone got any links to that ending?

Apparently that ending hasn't been shown anywhere.

An extra on the DVD release is probably the only hope atm.

  9. Paranormal Activity - I loved it. It really creeped me out. By the end, i was so on edge i would of jumped at anything. I think it helped that i was previewing the film at the cinema i work at, so i was on my own in a massive cinema. If you watch this and theres people constantly talking and on phones, it will spoil it.

I've since read that some people didnt like the ending, but i thought it as good. And there are two alternate endings. One which sounds great, hopefully all 3 will be on the dvd.

:yinyang: I heard an interesting rumour that the ending that's being shown in the advanced screenings will be different to the ending that'll be on the theatrical release, i don't know exactly in what way different cos i haven't seen it yet but i'll have to look into it some more.

I've watched The men who stare at goats and Harry Brown this week, both brilliant films but obviously in very different ways.

I should know soon whether that rumour is true or not. I work as a projectionist, so if it is true we will have to send the copy we have now back and will get a new copy in a week or so. I hope it is.

  10. Oh wow. That A-Team picture is great. Rampage obviously, but Liam Neeson looks as good as Hanibal as I thought he would.

I don't know who those other two guys are.

I can't remember there names but the other 2 are 'the guy from the Hangover' and 'the guy from 'District 9'.

  11. Paranormal Activity - I loved it. It really creeped me out. By the end, i was so on edge i would of jumped at anything. 12. I'm thinking of checking out Noroi (The Curse) tommorow and I'll post my thoughts on it after.

    Anyone here seen it?

It sounds like a Japanese Blair Witch (I hate that fucking movie and the sequel was 10x better imo) only better and actually scary/creepy.

Really??? And i'm one of the few people that actually kinda liked the sequel.

  13. Anyone seen "The Life and Times of Tim"? It's a cartoon from HBO that has been broadcast on Virgin1. I haven't caught it yet but it's HBO and the ads for it were funny. I have it on download at the moment...

I've only watched one episode but it was great. Tim got into a boxing match with an old man, after he offered him his sit on the bus. Very funny.

  14. Please can anyone help me I'm trying to find the Danielson vs Homicide 5 Match Series.
