  1. Samoa Joe and Super Dragon definetly had 2 singles matches in PWG, maybe a third, i'm not sure.

I dont think they've faced each other outside of PWG, but IWA-MS is a possibility, maybe in one of the 'Strong-Style' Tournaments.

  2. Quesiton. I want to take my brother to see Star Trek. If I go on a wednesdaty and use the Orange Wednesdays offer can I use my Unlimited Card as the paid ticket? I've heard you can but don't want to go and look like a tool.

I have no idea to be honest, but it sounds unlikely.

The best thing to do is ask. You won't look like a tool, just a chancer :p If not it's just like your brother paying in while you use unlimited anyway.

Yeah you can use your unlimited card as the paid ticket.

  3. I'm thinking of watching Franklyn tonight.

Anybody seen it think it's worth me wasting my time or?

I know it didnt get great reviews but i kinda enjoyed it. I obviuosly dont want to say too much and spoil it. But i think its worth a watch.

    And from the opposite corner...

It's a pretentious student short film that somehow has been dragged out to feature length. It's a great idea, frustratingly and ponderously executed and if you don't want to repeatedly smash Eva Green's face into the wall by about the half-hour mark, then mister, you're a better man than I.

I did think after watching it that it was a great idea, that could of been executed better. But as i said i still enjoyed it.

  4. Crank

Absolute insanity from beginning to end. A film which started off at 100 mph and never really slowed up. Jason Statham is a man who is poisoned and must do exciting things to stay alive. These exciting things mainly involve fighting, shooting people and driving extremely fast. The purest distillation of a million action films, I can't believe I never saw it when it came out. Jason Statham, I love you.

    10 / 10

Have you seen the trailer for the sequel? If not: http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/crank.../teaser-trailer

Oh and its NSFW dues to lots of swearing and sex, etc, etc....

Looks even more insane than the first.

  5. Whats all this i'm hearing about Carlito commenting at a press conference last week about HHH's status in the WWE being due to his marriage with Stephanie??

WWE STAR TAKES PUBLIC AIM AT TRIPLE H AND HIS MARRIAGE TO STEPHANIE MCMAHON AT PRESS CONFERENCE TODAY by Mike Johnson @ 2008-06-13 18:08:00 During a press conference today in Santiago, Chile, promoting a 7/2 Raw house show, Carlito took aim at Triple H's place in World Wrestling Entertainment, specifically his marriage to Stephanie McMahon-Levesque. When asked about their marriage, Carlito commented, "I may get in trouble, but that's why I'm here. My opinion is that it was a smart move by [HHH]. I think that's why he's champion now and has been champion in the past, it's easier to him. We, the real wrestlers, don't depend on people in the business. We don't have that benefit. We have to deliver the maximum in the ring. Others are given championships in a plate of gold or platinum, I'm happy for him." Carlito, who claimed he had been discriminated against in WWE because he was Latin (but did not specify any instance), saying his heritage makes it harder for him, but he doesn't regret being Latino. He also commented that he never sees Triple H going overseas to promote the company, stating, "I don't see him coming to Chile or Paraguay, places like that. He's always comfortable." As mentioned yesterday on PWInsider.com, Carlito is again unhappy with his WWE push and status. In a sign that he wasn't just playing a heel role during the conference, Carlito put over babyface John Cena's work ethic and criticized wrestling fans for not supporting him. The McMahon-Levesque marriage has always been pretty much considered "out of bounds" for anyone to discuss publicly for the obvious political reasons. Ken Kennedy also took part in the press conference, remaining in character before the local media. Announced for the Santiago event was WWE champ Triple H vs. John Cena, WWE Intercontinental champ Chris Jericho vs. JBL, Shawn Michaels & Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga & Snitsky and Ken Kennedy vs. Carlito. Special thanks to Roberto Mirando for all his help and translation.

    Someone beat me to it!
  6. Ive recently got Pro Evolution on the Wii. It was quite difficult to get into but i'm enjoying it now. But if anyone on here has it, is there anyway to do a 2 player legaue or cup??? Me and my brother tried but cant work out how?

  7. I haven't seen anything to convince me Eddie Kingston is worth ROH's time. Anyway...

How much of him have you seen? If not alot, you should definetly check out some of his stuff. His rivalry with Chris Hero has plenty of highlights.I'd actually like to see a Blackout of Ruckus, Sabian(altho i'm not a huge fan, he's obviuosly gonna be involved), Joker and Jack Evans (member for 1 night in CZW and i thought fitted perfectly). With Julius Smokes/Mireno as the mouthpiece. And then let Kingston be manily a singles competitor.
  8. The Eye: Thought i'd watch this as the American version is out soon, and despite having the original on dvd for a while, i'd not watched it. And i really enjoyed it. Scary and heart-pumping at times. Did feel alot like The Ring/Dark Water, etc but i wouldn't say that was a bad thing. Thankfully i didnt read the back of the dvd cover before i watched it cos it gives away an important part of the film!

  9. Lostprophets live cover of Machine Head's Davidian, recently at the Scala. Pretty good imo.
Agreed, but vocals needed more power
Yeah pretty much. He's not the right vocalist for that type of song. The DJ of 'prophets would of probably done a better job on vocals.
