  1. I'll get in on this, with How Soon Is Now? by t.A.T.u. A great cover of a great song, give it a try.

That is a really good cover, as the Leicester/Irish/Walsall UKFFers have discussed in the past. And don't dismiss it because it's by t.A.T.u, as they've done some decent songs. Shame they'll always be remembered as the Russian faux-lesbians.However, I reckon the following version of How Soon Is Now is better:Snake River Conspiracy - How Soon Is NowSnake River Conspiracy have released one LP album called Sonic Jihad in 2000, and a few EPs before that. Their album isn't really available anymore, and goes for about
  2. Shaolin Soccer

The story is, an old football player (now coach) brings together a team of shaolin kung fu "brothers" to form a football team, and win the cup. There's also a love story in there aswell.

I really enjoyed this film. Alot weirder than i thought it was gonnna be. And it was a bit ridiculous in places, but even at its most ridiculous i still loved it.

The only thing annoying was the sub-title's, which at times barely made sense.

    Good Will Hunting

Again, another film i really liked. I thought Robin Williams, Matt Damon and Minnie Driver (i think) were all great in there roles. And the ending was perfect.

  3. Sympathy For Mr VengeanceI thought it was ok. But i think i was probably expecting too much, because i'd seen Oldboy before. It had it's momments but seemed to drag a little in places. I was also very tired while watching it so, i will try to watch it again sometime.

Do you have the subtitles file for that movie?
Sorry no i don't.I was bored last night so i watched Open Water. I wasn't expecting much, due to (i think) reviews on here and my brother telling me how awful it was. But i was pleasantly surprised. It was short, but needed to be because it could of got boring. I'm not saying this was a ***** film but i enjoyed it, and i thought the 2 main actors were both good in there roles.
  4. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2Well, I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. I absolutely loved the start of this. To say I was pretty shocked by it would be an understatement. The ending isn't as good as the original, and I'm not sure that there was any need for it to be done the way it was done, but everything up to that point sure was enjoyable.

yeesssss...TCM 2 is definatly an acquired taste, considering its directed by the origional's director Tobe Hooper this comes off as somewhat of a spoof, and that's how it was intended, i recently got the Special Edition and they say they intentionally tried to make a comedy (Bill Mosely rules as Chop-Top), having said that it's amazing that this was ever put out at all, the film was dogged by made production and shooting problems. If you liked the film pick up the region 1 special edition, the doc. on there is superb.
I havent seen TCM 2 but i think that documenatery's on the Special Edition of the original, and it's superb. The "making of" the first movie is great too.
  5. Pete Gas of the Mean Street Posse... I think it was a version of the Buff Blockbuster/Flipping Second Rope Neckbreaker.

It was Pete Gas, but it wasn't that move. It was a kinda sit-out spinebuster, where, at the start of the move, Pete Gas would have his hands over the face of the oppenent (like a gas mask).
  6. That 70's Show Series 1My brothers got Seasons 1-4, so i usaully watch them when he puts them on. Very good, easy watching comedy series. Always makes me laugh. Does anyone know how seasons/series there were?League of Gentleman Series 2I love every series of LOG. But while watching this back yesterday, although there were many LOL momments i think this is probably the weakest series comedy wise. Great nonetheless.

  7. State and MainI bought this DVD in a charity shop because the cast looked pretty good (Alec Baldwin, Sarah Jessica Parker,William H Macy etc, etc) and it had got good reviews from non-obscure magazines/websites.And although i was very tired while watching it, i enjoyed it. Its a comedy, and has plenty of funny momments in it, although non really, laugh out loud parts. The cast alll play there parts well, on the whole, and at 100mins it seemed perfectly timed.8/10

  8. Hostel

I know loads has been said about this, so i wont write too much.

I really enjoyed the film, and i dont understand alot of the hate for it. I think most people were probably expecting too much. Okay its a basic story but has some cool torture/death scenes, Im glad i bought it.

    4/5

  9. Memento Mori

Well i think that's what it's called. In short it's about a lesbian relationship at an all girls school and what happens after one of them seemingly, commits suicide.

I picked it up cheap a while ago, and ive only just got round to watching it. And, I really enjoyed it. I liked the way it was shot, and i actually found it quite scary in places.

  10. Napoleon DynamiteA mildly entertaining film, which was too slow and just not as funny as it should have been. The characters were not interesting (and most were one-dimensional), and the acting was as basic as you can get. The film is very random and tries to be something different, but in the end the story seems to go nowhere and it is pretty dull for the most part. (**)

If you've only watched this film once, then watch it again.Im not sure why but i enjoy it more and more each time i watch it.I watched In America for the umptinth time the other day. Absolutely love that film. Also saw Churchill the other day, which i thought was okay. Nothing special but had me laughing in places.Oh and i actually got a copy of The Family Guy movie recently. And it is everything i wanted it to be. Very, very funny :D
