  1. I can't quite place what it is, but Edge looks so out of place. It's really weird, but in a good way. He looks fucking huge stood near Omega and looks genuinely different from all of the others that have jumped over before him. This time it genuinely feels like a WWE guy jumping ship rather than someone who was released or didn't do too much.

Christian should never, ever, ever be a face again. The man is the #1 heel in wrestling and is absolutely fantastic at it. It helps that for as long as I can remember, everyone has always said what a dick Jey Reso is behind the scenes that it is 100% believable that he is this much of a prick. Magic stuff.

  2. Edge putting out a 4 tweet essay to tell people to stop being fucking weirdos about wrestling companies is fantastic. Edge has always been one of my all time favourites, E&C my all time favourite Tag Team so to see them spend their last few years back together is brilliant. Whether Edges body holds up is another matter. He's had a bad run of injuries since coming out of retirement.

Anyways, Christian and Darby was fan-fucking-tastic. Christian getting the turtle neck pulled over his head made me genuinely laugh.

Just look at this dork, magical. He can do no wrong.

  3. Not sure how many will have seen it, but the fantastic Tom Campbell will be ring announcing at Turning Point and his genuine reaction to being surprised on air is ridiculously heart warming. Tom seems like one of the most genuinely nice people and it's great to see him getting some recognition.

7 mins in for the Impact related fun stuff.

  4. The faux outrage doesn't seem to be as loud with this round of cuts which I think speak volumes for the names that have been cut. Usually there's a big song and dance about how shite and heartless WWE are for a week or two before it's all forgotten about until the next lot of mass releases.

Whilst it's shite to see anyone lose their job, I don't think anyone on this list really could have done more within WWE. Ali got about as far as he could and the forgotten #FreeAli movement should be happy. Ziggler got his moment in the sun and whilst WWE failed to capitalise fully, he's still been around for about 5 years too long. Elias you could possibly argue could have gone a bit further, but the Elias character was boring...Ezekiel on the other hand....

I honestly don't think AEW should touch any of the list with a bargepole. None of them are any better or different to what they currently have on the roster. Impact, on the other hand, could do tremendous business out of Elias, MMM and Ali.

And also, thank fuck that idiot Quincy Elliot has finally been given the marching orders after the whole bullying drama with Amari Miller.

  5. I personally could give a fuck why they don't like each other, they don't, that's as clear as a blue sky in summer. The fact that throughout multiple threaded storylines, going back to Claudio's debut, they have continued to continually go at each other without 'coming together in mutual respect' is both brilliant and makes for hilarious viewing. Especially when Eddie storms right past everyone else to get to Claudio.

Some things just don't need explaining.

Mad that you never hear as many people saying he needs to tone it down as you do Moxley. I’d argue he’s way worse. At least Moxley’s just cutting up his forehead and pissing about with pins and barbed wire. Owens seems hell bent on ending up in a wheelchair.

I dunno, there was quite a bit of uproar about the dozy bastard nearly smashing the back of his skull in on the steel steps .... Multiple times.

Backstage drama is nothing new. Saw this in a tweet yesterday.

    Vince McMahon assaulted by Nailz
Bret Hart punches VinceAll of the JBL incidents
    Chris Jericho/Goldberg
    Booker T/Batista
    Sheamus/Yoshi Tatsu
    Plane ride from hell
    Bret/Shawn backstage fight
    Sin Cara/Simon Gotch

What relevance is that, though? I may have missed it, but no one is talking about WWE being better backstage than AEW. That tweet got called out a tonne as well when I saw it yesterday. It's just whataboutery.

  8. I think Tony needs to look at the team of people he's put in charge to be dealing with shit like this, so he doesn't have to more than anything. I called him out earlier in this thread for having no bollocks to sort it out, BUT, he can't be everywhere, all the time, where he's micromanaging the talent to the letter.

Maybe the criticism for Tony should be that he is wearing too many hats and when stuff like this keeps happening, he needs better underlings or chain of command. Or maybe he needs to stop little pricks backstage going running to Sean Ross Sapp or whoever the flavour of the month is this time.

I dunno, I don't think anyone is coming out of this situation looking great. Another absolutely phenomenal show, overshadowed by backstage politics.

All Out last year, Wardlows crowning moment and now All In, all marred in controversy due to backstage shite. Shame.

I’d love to understand the breakdown of who’s and who’s side with all this nonsense...

Maybe they could all have a mass brawl in red and blue shirts, only for Paul Wight to switch sides at the end, revealing himself to have been a 'Collider' all along.

  10. The Bucks are very similar to Cody for me in that their on-screen persona came across as cocky and unlikeable for so long, that you genuinely feel like that's what they're like in real life. Once you peek behind the curtain, you see that they are actually very likeable. The turning point for Cody with me was on an episode of Edge and Christians podcast and he came across as such a nice bloke and it feels like that's the very same for The Young Bucks.

  11. I watched a 22 minute YouTube video earlier of purely the entrances from the show. I'm a massive sucker for entrances and can enjoy them more than the in-ring stuff some times and I must say, other than Saraya's entrance, they were all absolutely spectacular.

It just shows, that it's the crowds that make wrestling great. From WWE in Puerto Rico, to MITB, to now All In, all fantastic crowds, all memorable shows.

Just brilliant. Why any company would want to run their major events in America going forward is madness (money aside, that is).

Probably happy that people see him as trying to be everyone's friend. Rather than the typical boss trying to milk their staff for all they can get.

You know it's not one or the other, don't you?

  13. I'm far, far, far from a CM Punk fan, but surely he seems to be in the right (depending on who you believe) on this one? Told Perry it's not worth using real glass, Perry stuck two fingers up.  Supposedly failed by the international transport and made his own way to the show, then Perry goaded him on TV then apparently stepped up to him.

Maybe the person everyone should be blaming is the spineless boss who just needs to get a grip and stop trying to be everyone's friend. I can imagine how the suspension conversation went..

"Ermm...Mr Punk....Phil...do you...ya know....fancy a few weeks holiday? .... Paid?....you can even use the family lodge to rest up? How does that sound? ... Please don't say no"

  14. Seen a lot of talk on Twitter (I know) about how WWE will break the attendance out of spite. I say good, I hope they do, then AEW will try with their next event. Who the fuck cares, we all win. Let them both go at it hammer and tongs trying to one up each other, it's going to be great.

    Win win for us folks.
