  1. Whilst I know it's not currently a criminal case, could it become one? Even though money has exchanged hands, NDA's were allegedly signed, could Vince still potentially be brought on criminal charges?

If so, how would the current state of the internet play into the case? The internet sleuths speculating on who is and isn't involved / knew, would that have any baring on any legal outcome?

Genuine questions, I know sweet fuck all about American law other than it's bat shit mental and just about anything goes if you have the funds.

The amount of coping I’ve seen about this is crazy. Everyone seems to agree this is all horrendous and anyone who was involved or knew anything needs to be binned off immediately. But not Papa H. Our Lord and Saviour Hunter Hearst Helmsley (who worked closer to Vince than almost anyone for years) definitely didn’t know anything. He has to be innocent! Look at how successful The Bloodline saga has been!

Whilst I get your point and fully agree, the copium is there, but there is also a lot of 'Hopium' (if that's a phrase) that HHH has GOT to be involved, from the other side of the fence without any actual evidence to suggest so.

It's all bollocks, it's all speculation and a lot of it is really bad faith based on one woman's absolutely horrendous experience because people happen to enjoy one version of wrestling over another.

I've seen more posts about wishing HHH to be gone or implicated, than aiming the ire at people like Laurenitis or Vince himself.

  3. The tribalistic point scoring between both WWE and AEW fans over something as fucking vile as the allegations are against McMahon, is absolutely abhorrent and just shows that nothing will ever truly move forward.

The whataboutery about what's happened recently with Flair, Jericho, McMahon and the like should NOT be compared. Just because you don't deem one incident to be as bad as another, doesn't mean that the one allegation is ok because there is worse.

Some of these so-called 'wrestling journalists' also feed this notion.

    Hey, controversy creates cash, right?

  4. At this point it feels like this is a hypothetical arguement for arguements sake. Never once have I played down what Vince has done, which seems like you are implying.

What I am saying, to be clear here, is that this should be the trigger point for a wider discussion about how Corporate America (probably not just in America) treats women. These old fucks in positions of power, need holding to account, but they never are. They payout a few million then go about their day.

I sort of get this instinct, but I think it let's Vince off the hook a little bit by implying power or money corrupts to this degree.

Not in any way shape or form defending or 'letting Vince off the hook' at all. Completely different point I am making.

I am saying the problem is that there are a lot and I mean A LOT of men the exact same as Vince. It's a problem, women will never be equal or indeed safe while ever these men are still around.

Look at how celebrated the film 'Wolf of Wall Street' was and the behaviour in that film was the exact type of shit that goes on in most corporate board rooms in America.

Vince deserves more than he will get, as we all know, he won't get much at all. He may get canned by TKO, but he's a billionaire who will just continue on doing whatever he wants.

  6. That is grim as fuck.

The thing is, as mentioned, this isn't just wrestling, it's corporate America. I can guarantee it's happening in a ridiculous amount of huge companies throughout the country with 1000's of disgusting men getting away completely Scot free with just doing what they want and not giving a shit about other people.

Fuck, it wasn't long ago that the fucking PRESIDENT was one of those men. I'm surprised McMahons name isn't on Epstein's list (that we know of).

  7. It's been a while since I've popped a picture in here, but the Mrs took some professional pictures that I needed for work. Other than looking like I'd sell you a dodgy time-share on the Costa Del Sol, I'm quite impressed.

  8. My son watched 'Hammerbarn' yesterday for the first time since we moved to Australia and he was absolute mindblown at the fact that Hammerbarn is modelled on Bunnings. He now wants to go to Hammerbarn for a day out.

  9. Joe should have a good TV run of title defenses similar to his X-division stuff where he just throws around floppy guys and is the best Joe possible. Give him a few big wins in PPV, but just let him maul small guys on TV. Where's Marko Stunt when you need him?

Joe is the just the best.

  10. I would not be unhappy if AEW just decided to stay at Dailys Place, phenomenal venue. Always looks great and different to everywhere else and they will never have another place with more history for them.

  11. Poor Jinder (and HOOK) have both took a bit of a kicking throughout this little dummy spit which isn't really fair.

I presume the match for Jinder is a bit of a sweetener for making him look quite the cunt last week. It's a TV main event, it's not a massive deal, same as I presume HOOK Vs Joe will be a TV Main Event, not a massive deal.

  12. It's at the point now where you can't even blame Tony Khan for it when you see the replies from his fans bowing down to him, giving him the ego and people like FTR Bald cheering him all in the quote tweets. I can imagine the feeling he probably gets from it all when the replies are flying in all calling him 'bossman'.

    It's all pathetic.

  13. I was thinking about this earlier today in terms of how AEW has changed over the years and it's safe to say, AEW was at its hottest when it was cycling people in and out week to week, rather than having the same people on each show. You could go two or three weeks without seeing some wrestlers, and it was great as you got to see a lot of other talent.

Now it seems to be a big core of people are on every show and it takes away both the shine from them and the shine from some of the newer and less featured talent.

They have a huge roster, it's easily doable to be able to cycle people in and out. Not necessarily 'themed weeks' as such, but one week could be focused mainly around the tag division with some singles and women's matches in, then the next could be focused on the women with some singles and tag matches thrown in etc.

  14. Hausman is a scumbag, but that doesn't negate from what the allegations are and they seem to be getting very lost in the shuffle with most of the anger directed directly at Hausman. Well, from a certain section it is should I say.

Hausman handled the situation like an absolute plonker, using SA/SH allegations as a 'gotcha' in an online arguement is scummy behaviour. However, he never named Kylie Rae, that was a different account to which Kylie responded to.

Jericho will be pissing himself that he has just sat quiet whilst Hausman is digging himself a hole, all the while the anger and ire is now being directed at Hausman.

I think it is fairly safe to say there is some sort of NDA attached to whatever happened, and we may never know the full story. Not one party involved in the allegations have come out and denied or provided further details. Tony Khan said he can't comment on 'unsourced allegations', but never said there was no investigation or disciplinary action. Jericho hasn't denied anything, threatened legal action etc.

There's enough anger and ire to go around, just like the old AEW Vs WWE debate, you don't need to pick a side. Everyone involved in this situation is a cunt, other than the alleged victim.

    Believe victims.

  15. The swerve with Jinder was fantastic, poor Jinder like, but the faces in the crowd when his music hit was magic. Just top trolling, similarly to there being purple confetti in the roof of the arena so people thought the cash in was definitely happening.

Dwayne can fuck off, though. He showed his arse in the feud with Cena, I can't be arsed with him fucking about with The Bloodline. Fuck it, have him wrestle Solo first, hopefully his titties will fall off and then we can get back to what most folk actually want.
