  1. "TNA sources" are usually spin doctors when it comes to PWInsider. They are the only ones who phone into their conference calls. Their TNA sources are probably Jeremy Borash or Bob Ryder. They can say what they like on this subject, but TNA sacking someone for being overpaid is so laughable. Most of their company is overpaid.

Also, they've throw out a new video, building up the signing of a new bloke. When in doubt "BIG SURPRISE" time.

Jesse Sorenson posted this the other week, interestingly enough. Its his original Gut Check (the ones before it came to TV) contract:

    Wrestling is so scummy.

TNA are scumbags, true. But why anyone would sign that is beyond me. Who wants to be on television THAT badly?

What's so bad about the contract??

  2. I agree Povetkin-Huck was great. I think I had Huck winning it, would need to watch again though.

Ruiz - Haye was good fun but not a great fight. Have enjoyed plenty other HW fights below title level, Dimitrenko - Pulev was a decent one.

  3. I'm fighting for Ireland, what have you ever done for your people in Africa?"

Disgusting, I hope he comes back and Jones leathers him for it. First ive heard but that's 100% not on. When did eubank live in Africa?

  4. Vince McMahon back in May 2002, predicting Lewis vs Tyson;

I'm gonna be there, I'm not gonna miss this because I think Mike's gonna come out and break bones on Lennox Lewis and I don't think it will go more than three rounds. You'll see the old Mike Tyson, he'll destroy Lennox Lewis in less than three rounds and then from there...a great big Las Vegas 'Welcome Back Mike'.

I was watching some of the Lewis vs Tyson build-up yesterday and I can't believe how quick that 11 years has gone. That was the last really massive fight to date wasn't it? I'm talking in terms of worldwide anticipation. We've had Mayweather vs Hatton and Pacquiao vs Hatton which were huge but Lewis vs Tyson was another beast. Everyone I spoke to seemed to know when it was happening, everyone was following it, it was on the news and in the papers, everyone was predicting the outcome. People were going on about it at work who never talked about boxing usually as well.

    LEWIS

    TYSON

Was a big deal but happened ten years too late. might have to go back and take a look at what other people predicted, for me it was confirmation mike was finished

  5. I dont mean to be unfair to khan but he looks to be regressing a bit which isn't a good sign. Guys at the level he thinks he is shouldn't be struggling with guys like Diaz. I can't see him beating any of the current champs at LWW.

He looks to have a bit less power and he never had much to begin with. Looks to be slowing down as well, his biggest asset.hope he does well like any Brit but he should get his big legs back, lighten up that torso and fight more like he did against Kotelnik or he's a KO waiting to happen

  6. Khan gets worse every fight, think he's pretty much fucked at the top level. Would like to see him try rebuild over here though. He seems to have lost some of his speed and definitely has little power.

Garcia would ko him again, maidana would probably win back rematch

  7. I'd be embarrassed if I was Alexander, he's defending the IBF against British domestic level competition! IBF rankings are pathetic, though.

Fury isn't the best he by a long shot but he's definitely the most entertaining.

  8. Matthew Macklin has signed off to fight Gennady Golovkin at the end of June. Its good to see the British middleweights are now getting their chance on the world stage.

Brook vs. Alexander is definitely off. Alexander is still going to box on May 17th but against a different opponent.

Its not like they haven't had the chance already, Murrays interim WBA champ, Macklins challenged for a world title twice already, Barker got a shot etc etc

  9. Bob Sheridan is one of the worst, respect though as hes done it so long. Benny Ricardo's another one who does my nut in, although if Im honest the only commentators I really like are usually fighters like Paulie, Jones, Tarver. I actually rather liked Enzo on commentary when BN started.

Yeah, they acted like Mayweather was toying with Cotto when in reality it was a competitive fight regardless of the outcome and the score cards.

  10. Bradley fight was excellent, dunno why he decided to trade like that, had their been another round I guess he would have been stopped.

He wanted to come out and show the world that the Pacquiao decision wasn't a fluke but it went a bit wrong. I had Bradley winning the fight by a point but the slip in the 1st should of been ruled a knockdown. He couldn't get back up from a slip so he was obviously fucked up. Bradley won the majority of the middle rounds just from outboxing Provodnikov whilst he was gassed from throwing too many power punches. Its scary to think that after Bradley got a concussion in round two, what would have happened if Provodnikov had kept throwing bombs for the next 8 rounds.

I just meant "what was he thinking", one things for sure, provoidnikovs stocks gone up majorly. Probably be ducked a fair bit.
