Im looking to dress up as Hogan, anyone know where to get all the stuff cheap (top half only, not bothered about spandex haha)? Im not doing it for halloween, its for a birthday party on the 19th so I might hold out and see if anyone flogs some cheap stuff.
From one T to another

Best idea is hit the "local" (as most places seem to have one) costume shop, as they'll have the handle bar moustaches. Bar that i think A-merchandise may have Hulkamania tshirts/bandanas up for sale, and if you by a size larger you could stuff a few pillows up there or something hah! The costume shop may also sell a "Muscle man" style suit you could use!
Â
Hope that helps!
tracked down a couple things, just need a pair of glasses like his, might just buy cheap kids ones! cheers mate
Â
hopefu;ly track down a kids title belt too!

When I was a near-infant (mustra been between 92-94) I went to see a tribute show in the Shetland Isles, at least I think it was a tribute show. All I remember being there was the "Legion of Doom", the British Bulldog, and a guy with a similar mask to mankind (before mankind though I realise). Anyone any idea who would have ran this show? And who would have been "portraying" the Bulldog at such a show?? As far as IU know, its only one of two wrestling shows ever to grace thge isles, the other being around 98, with a fake Sting headlining.

I do hope he fights some guys who are more in their prime soon though. Maidana was a great win for him because not only was he a heavy puncher he was in good form. The knock I hear a lot on Khan is he fights fighters who are past their best and even people that didn't like him gave him his due for the Maidana win and how he took big shots and fought through it. Now he's fighting guys like Judah and Morales. Big names who are still capable of good fights but are on the decline. Taking these fights don't do him any favours with the perception people have of him. Hopefully after the Morales fight, they'll finally get that Bradley fight on and then maybe Khan will move up to 147 like has been talked about recently. Fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao would be huge money and a chance to fight great fighters in their prime (if they still are by then)
Almost every fighter goes through a few guys on their way out. Its just the way it is, Hattons best wins were against Tszyu and Castillo, one was an inactive fighter at the twilight of his career, the other was an old Mexican fighting for money. Despite Judah being pretty old, he was also a current world champ and a name. I only really see him fighting Morales if Morales wins the WBC belt that hes lined up to fight for. Then it would b e a worthwhile unification regardless of Morales being past prime. I also think Morales showed in his effort against Maidana that he is easily top 15 in the division.

Cruiser has always been a stepping stone division for most moving to HW. Its probably one of the best cruiser eras ever, plenty of strong champs. (I dont count the IBO as a true world title,m but was good to see Tarver get the win anyway)

Â
Antonio Tarver (played Mason Dixon in Rocky Balboa) won the IBO cruiserwieght title down under with a victory over Danny Green. Thought you guys might be interested.

He passed his medical, thats all there is to it. They let guys with signs of brain damage box ffs
Â
Murray would be annihalated by Katsidis, and Mitchell shoudlnt bother with a rematch. Not yet, anyway.
-
Murray Mitchell was a great domestic dust up, I predicted Murray to win by late KO but I think now hes found his level. Mitchell should try and get a few more big wins under his belt, then go for a vacant strap or rematch Katsidis.
Â
Murray will probably remain at European level now, still think he has a lot to give but his styles not gonna take him much further.
Â
The Cook - Burns fight was nonsense, lets hope Burns takes on a real challenger next time.
Â
Bellew - Mackenzie wasnt the most exciting, but I think Tony did well to stick to his gameplan. A Cleverly - Bellew showdown later this year or early next is a must now surely!
-
I think Rhodes will put in a good shift with Alvarez, I see it being a bit of a war, although I dont think Rhodes will win. Alvarez is well overrated I think...

Prizefighter is fucking gash, too many robberies, sloppy shitfests and past it ex champs who need coin. If they really want to do it, make it 4 rounders, up the prize money and get better boxers involved. Having a loss onm your record because of a 3 rounder isnt worth it!
Â
Im going to see Lee McAllister challenge some Ghanaian journeyman for a second Commonwealth strap on Saturday. First boxing match so should be good!
-
mixed results from the legends last night. Hopkins beat Pascal on points and looked impressive in doing so. Roy Jones suffered a 10th round KO from Denis Lebedev.
Â
here's the Jones Jr stoppage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlR5fQqdnyc
Â
gotta say Lebedev's a bit of a cunt for throwing that last shot imo. The ref was fannying about before stepping in but Lebedev must've seen him stepping in.
Â
Really sad to see Jones getting stopped by guys who couldn't lace his gloves in his prime. He really should hang em up he's got nowt to prove and it's clear he's just diminishing his legacy with every fight at this point
So sad to see RJJ like that, with his wife/gf looking concerned. He needs to get out of boxing, if its a pride thing he should fight an Omar Shieka/Jeff Lacy-calibre of fighter so he can go out on a win.
Â
Congrats to Bhop, the man is like a fine wine.
-
Think we're gonna get a Ward-Froch final.
I hope so, then a Kessler rematch and a fight with one someone like Cleverly, Hopkins, Cloud if they all win there upcoming bouts.
-
Lots of fouling and roughousing from both men(moreso from Bhop), and a generally shite fight.
-
It's a world heavyweight title fight with a British champion, of course it will be on SBO.
Â
I saw AA - Dirrell. Good fight until the end, I think dirrell may have exaggerated but it was a definite DQ.
-
probably wouldn't have been worht the pricve they would have to pay for the Jones - Bhop fight, and there would probably be a significant amount of time to fill in between Haye's fight and Jones'

meh!

...and people wonder why boxing is in a state. This was the boxing event of the year, 50,000 fans (which might say boxing aint in trouble, but Pacquiao is a rare case) in Dallas Stadium to witness the most one-sided boxing match you could ever wish to see. I might be sounding harsh but this was ridiculous, no knocking Pac-Man, he came in and completely dominated for the entire fight, he never allowed Clottey to get into it. Clottey was getting super-praised by the commentary team for bravery and rightly so, but he didn't seem to want to win the fight, he was just in there to survive.
Â
I'm a little pissed because you look forward to seeing a bit of a battle, and what we got was a one-sided mugging.
Â
Pacman-Mayweather next please!!!
I woiuldn't call it "the event of the year" just yet. Haye - Klitschko might happen, you've got the super six, Mayweather - Mosley, Mayweather - Pac if it happens. Saying "boxing is in trouble" is a little rich when you consider it still consistently outdraws MMA in both attendance and PPV numbers on it's biggest shows.
Â
Is anyone seriously going to cough up the 15 quid to see the snoozefest that will more than likely be Haye vs Ruiz?I probably will to be honest, let's hope Haye comes out guns blazing. I've heard Ruiz has become more aggresive as of late as well. Adamu - Groves and Olusegen - Lynes should be decent as well.
-
When did Sting stop coming down from the rafters and why?
-
Anyone got photos of the UK "fake" wrestlers, like UK Taker, Legend of Doom, 619 Mysterio etc etc?
-
Manhoef v Cyborg from Cage Rage is always a classic.
-
It asn't THAT bad, Valuev - Holyfield was far less intriguing. When he rocked him I was impressed, not many people could do that to the giant. Johnson - Dawson was a much better fight, as was Rogan - Sexton.
