  1. That’s the right way, go to your limit and then build it up. If you try to do too much before your body is ready then you risk injury and halting all progress. Don’t get hung up on weight loss, if you have a balanced diet and regular exercise it’ll come. I recommend a fitness watch of some sort, not so much for motivation more to track what you’ve done/are doing. Find activities you enjoy, much easier to keep at it.

I started at the end of January, small stuff playing active video games using a vr headset. I then started swimming in addition to that in April once the pools started opening up, and I’ve been sensible with my diet. I’ve lost just over 4 stone since then, almost halfway to my ‘target’ weight, and it’s been made a bit easier keeping to things I enjoy. Still have the odd unhealthy days but it’s in moderation and helps keep the morale up.

There was a hype music video for an England Cricket tour or something. That was played on Sky One and no doubt the other Sky Channels. Very patriotic and historic. I hate cricket but thought that this music video was great.

Used to watch all the WWF syndicated shows on it. We didn't have Satellite TV. I'd go over to my aunts and watch with my uncle. Who's still a fan to this day. He finds it difficult to nabigate the plethora of channels that are available now. He was very pleased when I put a on YouTube WWF compilation the other day.

Is the channel going to be completely deleted or just renamed?

Their 106 channel slot is going to replaced with Sky Showcase which will be more like Sky 2, Sky mix etc were; showing reruns from their other main channels like Atlantic, Arts, etc. they’re also adding a new channel Sky Max which will show all their original new content and some of their US import shows (the stuff Sky One used to show).

Seems like his mates knew about the illness, based on Lee Mack’s statement, but I guess he chose to kept it out of the public eye.

Devastating news, one of my absolute favourite comedians.

Sad to say but he didn’t look well on the last series of 8 out of 10 cats, absolute shame he was a great comedian, echo the love for 15 Storeys too.

Custard Creams and Bourbons say hello.

Then they can follow that up with a goodbye and fuck off behind Biscoff where they belong.

  5. I enjoyed the first episode, and the focus on the immediate impact worked here rather than the ripple down through mcu present day. Slightly more concerned about some of the future episodes though, T’Challa instead of Peter Quill as Starlord doesn’t grab me if it’s just focused on his story, I want to see how Wakanda deals with its crown price being abducted.

I do think Nintendo deserve some flack for Super Mario 3D All Stars though! - that was pretty disappointing as it didn't seem much effort was actually put into the ports of the games compared to the price charged for it,

Do they though? If they’d put out Galaxy and Sunshine separately for £15 each and 64 for a tenner nobody would have complained (well, they would have, they always do), but all 3 for £40 was too much?

If there’s something they need to cop flack for it’s the Tencent partnership and the horrendous free to play games being churned out with heavy paid mechanics soaked into the pores of the gameplay.

Stop being entitled, steal their stuff like everyone else does.

Or go and buy the old hardware and game again if you’re desperate. They aren’t obligated to give you a way to play old games on modern consoles. It’s all value add, and entirely profit driven either through sales of the games individually or increased uptake of subscription models to get access to the library.

Sorry, but ‘I want it, and Nintendo should give it to me for a price I deem reasonable’ is absolutely entitlement.

  8. Managed to grab a PS5 yesterday on Amazon, supposed to arrive today but tracking now says ‘delayed due to external factors’ at the local depot. They’ve nicked my console haven’t they….

  9. There’s a strong mapping community out there too, thousands of maps and a central website to search them. There’s going to be support for downloading custom maps from within the game itself as well once the next version of the ‘modded’ quest version once it gets released.

  10. So I play it most evenings but that’s on the Quest. It’s great fun, but without the option to add custom songs/maps I don’t know about the longevity of it.

It’s not worth the cost of the Psvr for that specifically but if there are other titles grabbing your interest then yes, but you might be worth going for the quest.

The psvr version I assume needs the move controllers which are quite pricy.
