  1. I was watching an interview with everyones favourite pundit Gareth A Davies today on IFL, and while he was getting overly emotional about the Joshua fight, i started reading the comments.

One of them said “Gareth is the type of man to shut his fridge door with his hip”

I think that sums him up perfectly.

  2. The fact it worked out that way for Bret was probably better for him in the long run, as he now had his “hard done by” character to play in to and this makes his fans love him really more. Punk i believe tried to slightly replicate this and to some degree of success as well.

  3. Fury is slightly vulnerable to people who have no respect for his boxing skills and just put it on him. I know it is going back a while but McDermott, Chisora 1, Wallin. I think thats why he was or his camp where slightly aphrenrsive for the Whyte fight.

Saying that, i agree that Fury beats Joshua, similar to the Wilder stoppage, AJ stopped on his feet.

Wilder v Joshua would be great.

How does DAZN uk work? Is it just a case of downloading an app on your phone and away you go?

  4. The Yarde/Arthur does have a rematch clause in it but not an immediate one. Unbelievable that a challenger for The Commonwealth title has a rematch clause incase he loses.

    I thought Arthur won.

Yarde and Tunde and the crew look like they are having a great time on the ride but if Yarde is serious about progressing he does need a whole new corner.

    “Empty the tank”

  5. Spoiler

    Ignore the spoiler tag 🤷‍♂️.

An absolutely terrible interview from Kugan, probably his worst, well they're all the same when you think about it. But worth watching for the Joshuas opening, very funny, for people who watch IFL anyway. Even Eddie (of camera) gets a dig in on thin skinned Kugan near the end.

  6. Any heavyweight with a half decent pair of legs would make Tyson look stupid. He fought an 8 round exhibition with a 50 year old middleweight, 20 years past his best who hugged him for 80% of the fight. Hughie Fury would knacker Tyson out after 3 or 4 rounds and probably have the corner pull him out.

Tyson in his prime was in the right place at the right time. He had the x-factor though, was box office and looked and acted the part. He was phenomenal.

But he fought a load of over the hill boxers and crack addicts. He cleared out the weakest division in Heavyweight boxing history then when was eventually met with decent challenges he lost.

Never before has so many excuses been made for one fighter.

If you listen to the story behind the Larry Holmes fight, it’s classic Don King.

  7. Very impressive performance from JJJ, he was never really troubled either. He reminds me a bit of Carl Froch but at heavyweight, he doesn't look the best but has a chin of stone and underrated boxing skills but because of his speed and style people under estimate him.

On that performance i would fancy him against Whyte, Chisora and Parker.

It will be an interesting fight against Usyk, especially after losing in the amateurs to him.

The Heavyweight division is great at the moment.

DDD will definitely come back, hes just turned 23 i think and there only room for improvement, he boxed well but his eye was mashed.

The worst thing about boxing is this bullshit about quitting in the ring. Who cares? What was he meant to do? Fight on, lose, go blind and end his career?

Haye was saying after “he’d never quit” ok, thats fine, but you bottled it against Klitchko and didnt engage at all. Whats worse? Someone easing there way to a points defeat or someone going for it,  getting their eye socket smashed and realising they are not going to win and living to fight another day.

  8.

Promo of the year so far, for those who havent seen it.

Wouldnt fancy being his sisters fella!

I love Benn, but would fancy Kelly to slightly outclass him, but would be great to watch. Kelly may lose his next fight i suspect so Benn/Kelly may not happen.

  9. Yeh i know you worked in the other one, you were there just browsing. You worked in the one where Piper came to sign autographs in 92/3 sure you were working that day? You remember? I got my Piper spotlight Magazine signed by him. He was trying to flog his dodgy single.

    sorry, 26
