That is Hearns long time goal i believe, he said he wants to incorporate the production costs for entrances etc, like the WWE. He has a man crush on Dana White and the UFC model.

Normally TV companies sort out the entrances and all that but with DAZN he wants to do it all, it’s one of the main reasons Matchroom has gone with DAZN.

PBC did try this initially in America and it lead to alot of financial losses, despite having terrible entrances and no real ring announcer. 

I genuinely think Hearn wants Matchroom to become a brand like WWE or UFC where people will refer to boxing as Matchroom like they do Wrestling WWE and MMA UFC. 

I believe the problem will lie within that kids generally are not into boxing, it doesn't have the characters or excitement of either the UFC or WWE. Therefore it will fail. Boxing is watched by the older audenience.

Theres also loads of different governing bodies from state to state in America which are mostly tapped up by backhanders. Boxing has always been a dirty sport, full of corruptness. To many old sharks are in and around boxing for Hearn to take over. He does reming me a bit of Vince in the early 80’s with the expansion, but i cant see him taking over anytime soon.

I get the feeling that Arum and Warren knew this was going to happen. They seem to have done fuckall in trying to promote the fight and always been slightly negative (up until recently) towards the fight. I get the feeling that maybe they have played with young Eddie, let him work his bollocks of and spend shit loads of time and money trying to sort it, then pull the rug from under him at the last minute.

Theres is no way all this has happened at the last minute. Arum and Warren are multi millionaires, Arum a billionaire. You think with their lawyers and with over 100 years combined experience in the boxing business that this has been sprung on them in the last minute. Absolutely no chance.     

The thing with Pac v Mayweather, ideally it should have took place in 2010, and i remember Pac getting a bit of a slating for turning down a guaranteed $30-40 million. There was all sorts of shit being said about who dodged who etc, but they let it build longer and it ended up being the highest grossing fight in history. Over 4 million PPV’s and Mayweather reportedly earning between 150-200 million and Pac over 100 million.

I believe Joshua did want the Wilder fight. Wilder even said he turned it down to fight Fury. But you never know in boxing, everyone is full of shit.

It’s a cash grab. The atmosphere will be shite, much like it was for Joshua v Ruiz.  Atmosphere makes the fight. 

All the boxing i rewatch on you tube, either fights or documentaries is made 100 times better by the crowd. This fight will be watched live in silence by multi millionaire non boxing fans.

It is a bit of a joke, Fury saying he doesn't care about money, its a fight. Joshua the man of the people, support local business’ etc.....yet they'll take 50 million each from Saudi instead of maybe 30 from the UK.

I think Andrade was trying to say, “who had Rocky Fielding fought” to get to fight Canelo.

This is the best analysis of the fight i have seen. It is all about levels. Canelo is elite, Saunders isnt. Saunders maybe didnt look out of his depth for a total of 2 or 3 minutes of the fight. Canelo was getting warmed up. Saunders got smashed. Saunders fans will say he didnt look out of his depth, but he did. He was blowing out of his arse after 2 rounds. He was fucked from the body shots.

He has never lived the life. Even 7 years ago when he was in his early 20’s he struggled to keep Eubank of him. Eubank who was/is a novis.

Saunders at 168 is overrated pond life. He has never proved himself at the weight and is only at the weight through ill discipline and a champion through fraudulent match making. He fought a bum to win the title and had struggled since. I’d fancy Eubank to beat him, who is probably naturally 2 stone lighter than him. 

I don't know what it is about british boxing pundits and former fighters on TV, but they seem very apprehensive to come out and say certain things against certain fighters. 

Whenever Chisora loses they always say it was a robbery etc....lets see Liam Smith and others call Saunders a quitter like they did DDD. Cant wait to see what Bellew says about Saunders, as he is another idiot (like saunders), who says they will die in the ring before “quitting”.

i had Canelo ahead, quite easily. Saunders had 2 half decent rounds, thats it. Canelo does that around 5/6/7 when he is either taking a breather or closing the distance. He had tried for the uppercut a few times, just missing narrowly missing. 

The commentary was bias towards Saunders.

The finish was beautiful. Canelo calling the crowd on. He me be a roided up fucker, but 90% of them are. Hes the best boxer to watch on the planet right now.

Also the production was the best i have ever saw from a boxing match, DAZN or Eddie have definitely watching Wrestlemania.

Saunders Dad is a cretin. I have just watched his IFL tv interview. 

I get what they are trying to do by either unsettle things, make out everything is against them, pre make their excuses if they lose etc. But if they honestly think Canelo gives two fucks about this nonsense then they are mistaken. 

They are trying to unsettle them similar to how Fury did Klitchko, however Fury had a legitimate complaint with the way Team Klitchko tried to put padding under the canvass to prevent his movement. 

I’m pretty sure the size of the ring is thrashed out between management companies and put in the contract. If they are looking to blame anyone, surely it should be MTK and not Eddie Hearn. Also the interviewer asks Saunders Dad, was the ring size not in the contract and he says “i dont know.”

Suppose it may draw up a little more interest in the fight, it’s better than Chisoras nonsense last week.
