He’s on the Saudi show and has been announced for a tag match against Lashley on RAW next week so hopefully it’s sorted out

The Saudi PPV muddys the waters a bit tonight as any big return in this match to confront Brock or whatever is probably leading to that first, hell the way they go on about the Saudi shows being bigger than WrestleMania the winner tonight might even face Brock at that show instead 

So is SmackDown only being shown on a 1 day delay and RAW a 6 day delay then? Bit weird if it is, SmackDown will be shown earlier than RAW even though RAW is on first, if not then Smackdown will be on an 8 day delay

Quite a newsworthy show this week, Usos, Sheamus and Morrison returning which adds a lot more depth to Smackdown. 
 

New Day and Miz/Morrison feud should be pretty good, Miz is made to be a heel so glad they’ve turned him again.

Usos returning was a surprise, being paired with Roman at last but obviously Roman will move on to the fiend in the next couple of months so imagine they will be feuding with Ziggler and Corbin for a bit

Better show than the last few weeks and it’s nice to have some fresher faces at least, good start to the year

He was asked the question, he didn’t just randomly say it, rather he answered it honestly than just pretend it wasn’t asked like Johnson with most of his questions, it’s a sensible view that when delved into can be understood.

My concern with it going on the network is that it would inevitably mean WWE involvement in it which would drag it down from what it is at the moment and defeat the object. Maybe not straight away but if it gets decent views and stuff there’s no way WWE aren’t gong to get involved with it and ruin it eventually. 

Far too much wrestling on these shows, I like AEW and when they do the pre tapes or the hype videos it’s incredible but on these weekly shows it’s just match after match after match with barely any promos or anything, it’s ruining it for me.

Brand split already in full affect with Rollins from RAW against Bray from SmackDown at Crown Jewel, imagine that will mean both of them appearing across both shows for the rest of the month

Was just checking the recording myself to see as I watched the full version on Thursday night - the MJF match is still fully cut out for some reason but everything else seemed fine and was all there.

Shame people watching this won’t be exposed to MJF, he didn’t do anything major but it was a decent showing for him

The ITV Hub one seems to be the cut down edited version they’ll be airing on Sunday morning on ITV4 by the looks of it so all being well tomorrow nights airing at 11:20 will be the full unedited version.

Oh no of course, I agree, I just mean the fact the show is going to be TV14 on TNT yet shown at 8:20 in the morning here means they’re going to have to cut certain bits out or highly edit them meaning we won’t get the full experience of it on our channel here which will take away from it a fair bit

It’s not so much that it’s a bad time slot but more that with being in that time slot it’ll have to be ridiculously edited to make it even more PG than usual that’ll mean people don’t get the full experience so they won’t bother watching it, the viewing figures won’t look great id imagine so hopefully it gets a better time slot eventually rather than getting canned

Awful news, time isn’t so much the issue in that I don’t mind watching it after it’s aired etc but if it’s going to be edited, which it definitely will have to be if it’s on at that time slot, it will be unwatchable. Think that’ll be me passing on trying to keep up with this promotion, they’re unlikely to get any more fans than they currently have over here as well so it’s not a good slot.

Bucks have done an interview with TalkSport, no deal in place yet but sounds like they’re trying to sort it, can’t be 100% it’ll be in place for the first show

The Young Bucks did an interview with Alex McCarthy of TalkSport.com and here are the highlights from McCarthy: 

I pressed the Young Bucks on AEW's TV deal in the UK. 

They said they are still in negotiations and can't say. Matt said: "I wish I could shout what I know from the rooftops." 

I asked if it will be sorted by the first episode. Nick: "I don't want to say yes and then it's not." 

I asked if it will be live, what channel, etc etc - they couldn't say on any of it because they are in negotiations as we speak. They did stress, however, that the UK is a very valuable market to them and they are pressing to get it sorted. 

The Young Bucks did say that AEW will do "multiples shows a year" in the UK.

Need some advice please.

Currently really worried right now, I work in a call centre type role with lots of admin associated with it. I’ve never been one to follow processes as such and I know some of this is my fault but I need to know my options. So when we make calls we are judged on certain things by the QA department, have to say certain bits word for word, ask the right stuff, you know the score. In May i received email feedback from QA advising that my call scores were not good and I had failed on some mandatories and that “I would be referred to my Team Leader and call coaches for extra support. Fair enough. Then radio silence. No feedback for ages, no input from team leaders or anything. In early August I randomly got a message advising QA we’re going to sit with me. They sat with my for 1 hour. During that time I made several calls but no one answered and did admin work. They only observed.

No feedback again, nothing happened.

Today I’m pulled into a meeting with my Team Leader and Manager. They advise they have received a lot of feedback over the last couple months about my calls ad need to to do an investigation. We will meet again in 1 week and if the reports are upheld I will be going down a capability and disciplinary route.

Now I appreciate I may not have done all I need to do on the calls, i accept that, but I have been offered support and then it has not been delivered, and today was the first I’d heard about all of these so called terrible calls I’d done.

Do I have a leg to stand on relating to the potential disciplinary? What should my next move be? I’ve had no feedback since May, no support that I was promised and now this.

As a caveat me and my Team Leader get on well which makes it more awkward but she clearly doesn’t have my back in this instance. The manager and my Team Leader are also friends outside of work with the head of HR so I need to be careful how I play this.

Any advise would really be appreciated. Thank you

Network has had a proper revamp today I see. A lot more aesthetically pleasing, looks really cool - lots of decent features on it, I’ve only watched a bit of TV from 2006 but the layout and stuff is a lot better

Did anyone have any problems with this through Fite? First time I’ve tried to watch something on there and it just keeps cutting off every couple of minutes, awful service.

This is my big problem with stuff like this, I’d rather pay more to watch on box office as I know it’d work, this is too much hassle if it’s not going to work and will just mean I don’t watch AEW, think it’s why I’ve always watched WWE as it’s just easily accesible

Why is it hilarious? Am I missing context? I’ve watched the last 6 of these shows but still don’t quite “get” them yet, I’m mainly watching to familiarise myself ready for when AEW launches

Last minute winners might not be luck but with VAR next season there’s no doubt quite a few Liverpool goals this season would’ve been chalked off. Whether they’d have still won the game who knows, they might have, but the crucial goal at Southampton for one would’ve been ruled out.

Not to mention the pathetic decision to give a free kick for Fabinhos blatant dive up here last Saturday, not saying VAR would’ve had a say in that one, but pathetic officiating like that does lead itself to luck.

Liverpool and Man City have been incredible no doubt, but they have benefited from the big club bias, whether you acknowledge it or not, it clearly exists, to gain points this season, Liverpool more so.

City are going to win said Best League In The World, so it’s not all doom and gloom for them. Must be shit supporting Man Utd at the minute mind.

Potentially have Liverpool winning the Champions League, Chelsea the Europa and Wolves qualifying for Europe. Eurgh

Met him once in Skegness I think it was, years ago now, probably 15 years. Was actually quite a nice bloke, he’d just done a stand up set which a lot had gone over my head as I wasn’t that old at the time, but met him at meet and greet afterwards and he was really friendly posing for photos and stuff.

Obviously there’s tons of horror stories I imagine but my encounter was a positive one
