He's a lunatic, at least when Bischoff and WCW were doing it they were actually competing with and beating the WWF. This goon is barely getting a million people combined watching his two main shows every week. He's got no leverage, and all this twitter shite isn't doing anything to actually make people want to watch said shows, it's not like we're thinking, fucking hell best watch Collision now.

I've not watched much of the current product over the last few weeks, so last week I watched Smackdown, then watched Fastlane, RAW, NXT and then Dynamite. So got a feel of what was happening.
I really enjoyed all of the shows, aside from NXT which was pretty boring, however I'm going to give it another go next week when its more "normal" as I've heard good things.
Anyway, as much as I enjoyed the others, last nights Dynamite was my favourite of them all. Really enjoyed pretty much everything and it had a decent ish mix of wrestling and angles/promos.
The biggest thing that turns me off AEW is too much wrestling, I appreciate the product may not be for me, but there PPVs are such a chore as its just 20 minute at least match after match after match after match. There's hardly any backstage stuff/promo videos its just constant and its a chore. Dynamite used to be like that in the early days and I still think some of the matches go too long, but this week's was the right balance so I enjoyed it.
I like MJF, Hangman was one of my favourite months ago but he just seems a bit in the middle of nowhere, could do with a heel turn I think, the Copeland Christian stuff is great, Cage is really good, he's always been really good to be honest, he's just been overlooked. He was doing great heel week in 03/04/05 and he did great heel work in TNA but no fucker was watching it.
Anyway, there's a lot of good stuff in AEW, I still think it's not aimed towards me as like I say it's very heavy on wrestling, and that's not my main thing, but there's another there to keep me watching. I'll skip Rampage but I will watch Collision, especially now FTR hopefully won't be there, I fear this won't be a show for me mind and will be very match heavy but we'll see.
It's just a shame no fucker seems to want to go and watch AEW, I know the ratings have stayed steady but it hasn't grown at all since it stared so already feels like it's hit a ceiling so it'll just continue as it is, but it's nice to have an alternative so see some new characters, and if they're that good they'll end up in WWE anyway so at least they'll stick around andnbe seen by a wider audience

Wardlow is what Batista would have been if he hadn't joined Evolution.
-
Not too shabby for AEW to be fair, only about 250,000 down on what they'd normally get, and obviously up against a stacked NXT and a different night than usual.
-
Arteta is just as much of a dickhead as Klopp, especially with his antics on the touchline but not as many people mention it as he doesn't manage a side the majority fans of other clubs universally despise.
Really irritating watching him more or less tackle players when they're near his dug out (that he's standing 3 miles outside of) and he's very pissy when Arsenal don't win. Really does my head in he does. Lego haired twat.

Be interesting to see what they do with Dax if Cash goes down. Find him a new tag partner or give him a run as a singles wrestler and see how it goes?
Sack him off hopefullyÂ

Yeah must admit I was really disappointed with that, it was brilliant when it first started, consistently good and Foley came across really well, but couple of months ago they said he'll only be doing 1 a month now, and it's been about 6 weeks since the last one and you could tell he clearly couldn't be arsed anymore. Stuffing his face was awful and he veered back into his weirdo terroritory with whoever those indie women wrestlers with him were.
Real shame but I imagine it'll be sacked off soon

Been watching the build up to WrestleMania 17 recently and aside from the build up being pretty shit, now you know the Austin heel turn is coming there are a fair amount of hints leading up to it.
Rock is in a handicap match pretty much every show, put in my Regal, but Austin never has anything like that and hardly wrestles at all, I know his neck was probably bad at the time and he didn't want to overdo it, but the heel authority putting Rock in all these matches and not Austin is interesting looking back. There's also a RAW where Rock is waiting for Austin in the parking lot and his "flight is delayed", and then there's the obvious sit down interview with JR that foreshadows it.
I just found It interesting as on the night of Wrestlemania as a kid it felt completely out of left field and didn't see it coming at all, and maybe I'm looking into it too much now but there are signs
-
Yeah let's be honest none of them are going to missed, most of them haven't been on TV for weeks. Even Ali, who has, it's hardly going to make much difference to the product with him gone.Â
AEW will bring some of them in and they'll make no difference there either

Christ, AEW is about to get an influx of "talent"
-
Been binging The Ranch on Netflix, got to part 5 today and Danny Mastersons character seemingly left. Did a Google search for him to see what had happened etc.
About to get 30 years for rape. Great.
-
I love Cena like but he's just a parody at this point.
I know he's always had that over dramatic acting veering into silly territory his whole career but his performance tonight was just so hammy and unbelievable. The facials and what he was saying during the Knight Miz match was just so far out it just felt too much like he's playing a character.
And don't even get started on the Southpaw stuff, just stupid.
-
What's with the pre show being on now?! Thought it started from 5 but you've got a Miro Hobbs contract signing now, quite a big deal that
-
Just horrible, from his NXT run to mid 2014 after the Cena feud I loved everything about the character. Even after that I was always engrossed in what he was doing and was looking forward to him coming back.
Seems like a great bloke too, so sad.
Apparently all plans for Smackdown have been scrapped for tonight and it will instead be a tribute show. Imagine it'll be an emotional one.
-
Not to take away from this event as I'm sure it will be amazing but what do people think the All Out main event will be?
I'm assuming it will probably be a rematch between MJF and Adam Cole, seems the simple option but does anyone think anything else could happen?
If the kingdom do reunite with Cole I guess we could see a 6 man against MJF and whoever but AEW usually always have the World Title defended and in the main event on PPVs (as they should)

There’s a Sainsburys and Co-op next to the stadium for your cans, probably the best bet & what we’re doing. The retail park has toilets. Happy daysÂ
There's a public area drinking ban around Wembley now for all events following on from the trouble at Euro 2020(1) so you'll need to be careful with that.
There's plenty of police and stewards around on event days and they're very strict with enforcing it.

Thankfully the Samsung smart TV app hasn't been updated yet so I'm still using the old version.
Had a look at the new one on the Firestick, absolutely dreadful

As much as I don't particularly rate him either, it's definitely not worth fucking him off because of his age. Same with Cody, people saying because of his age he can't be the next megastar etc.
It's mad to think but worth noting, whilst Rock and Austin were younger at the time, their run as the top stars in the entire business only really lasted 5 years tops, 1998-2003, in Rocks case arguably 1999-2002. I know business is a bit different these days but those twos run on top was only 4 years, so even at age LA Knight is now, push him to the moon and he's got plenty of time to leave a legacy if it happens
-
LA Knight is just a fad man, I can't see anything in him long term, he's just the latest guy getting great reactions for a time and then it'll die down. Priest winning based on current storylines is the best thing all round. LA Knight wins and gets the belt he'd be cold as fuck within a few weeks.
I think people these days put far too much weight on someone getting decent reactions because not everyone does, but it doesn't mean jjst because someone is over they need the belt or unlimited success. Take the attitude era, Godfather was getting reactions louder than 90% of the roster, should he have been World Champion? Should he fuck. Same with the likes of Road Dogg and to a lesser extent in more recent times Adam Rose and Fandango, they've found a theme/catchphrase to get them over, and thats great but doesn't mean they have to be at the top of the card
For me the weekend showed that Cody is and is going to be the fucking man. Last night reminded of The Rock in the summer of 1999, pissing about with midcarders but still being insanely over and just having that generational star aura. Cody is it, he's everything and more that WWE needs as thee man. When he gets the belt it'll be glorious

Not sure what you'd define as cheap, but there's loads on the official site available for it, upper levels are mostly all well under 100 quid.
Think it's going to be pretty sparse tonightÂ
-
Has anyone sat in level 4 for WWE before? I wouldn't normally go that high but with the crazy prices it was all we could afford at the time - to the right of the ring and Row E though so not too far back but still expecting it to be very high, just hoping it doesn't feel too far away and still feel a part of it! Same seat for both nights too so needs to be good!
Looking forward to getting down there mind, picked up a ticket for The Undertaker show fairly cheap earlier so looking forward to that
-
The fact he's even referred to as 'Brock Lesnar guy" validates the cunt. He's everywhere, and seeing the stories of him lording it up at shows wandering round desperate for fans to notice him and taking pictures with him like he's some sort of celebrity sums up the sad state of affairs.
Moving on from that, liked the show but FTR are shit, if they fuckdd off tomorrow and never showed up again it'd be a day too late, I thought they were dull as shit anyway and thrn Dax does his shitty podcast and makes you realise how much of a loser he is. Get the belts off them and fuck them off, especially Dax, mauve Cash can do something else, he seems alright tbf.
Fuck Dax

They've made a complete hash of this 'draft' like.
I love the idea and from 2002 - 2005 it genuinely did feel like RAW and Smackdown were completely different and I liked that. Was really hoping this new draft would go back to those days. Yet now, already we have a "RAW only Championship" that Smackdown superstars are able to challenge for? How does that work, assuming a Smackdown superstar wins they then become a RAW wrestler, it's just so stupid already.Â

Seen a few people saying they wanted aisle seats etc, if you think you've booked one via ticketmaster I'd check again, their seating plan for what looks like is on the aisle is all over the place. I always double check on mapaplan to make sure and seats I thought were aisle seats definitely aren't.
Same happened to me for the Carabao Cup Final when went there with Newcastle too, not sure why but the seating plan they provide to book through just shows it all wrong. Know its not a big deal for some but when going on my own I'll only book aisle ones generally so it's a right ballacheÂ

Why do AEW shows have so many "technical glitches"? I know they blame the weather, the network, whatever, but it never happens on WWE or any other live TV programs really, well very rarely but pretty much every AEW show there's something fucking up. It's piss poor
