  1. Going to be a lot clearer tonight what WrestleMania is looking like. Pretty huge press conference this and the Internet will go mental regardless.

Rock signed off a comment earlier as "the long gamer" fuelling speculation they might move the match to WrestleMania 41. Can't see that happening mind as it seems pretty set Rock is at 40.

There's clearly been some sort of pivot as mentioned above, Cody saying he has "made his decision" when he's already said to Roman last week that he isn't coming for him at WrestleMania, which makes me think he probably is now and they've changed it up a bit.

Roman wrestling both nights seems to be being mentioned alot.

We'll see, will certainly be newsworthy and it'll hopefully be on the network so can watch it in the morning.

  2. If anyone can save it, it's Cody. He's got the connection with the crowd and has delivered several epic promos since coming back.

Now they've done this, the key now is how Cody explains it on RAW going forward, him and Seth need promos knocking it out the park for the next few weeks and you might just be about be able to salvage Cody and get that feel good moment at WrestleMania when he wins the belt on night 1. I trust Cody can deliver.

Worst thing to happen now is for Seth to end up not being fit in time, Codys story is really fucked then if he ends up in some weird match for a vacant belt.

Rock vs Roman is massive though, intenet forum geeks like us might cry about it, but as was seen in the arena last night, they're up for this. It'll get huge mainstream attention, the crowd reactions for Rock will be off the charts leading up to it. Wrestlemania night itself might be slightly different as we know the type of crowd's that go to that, but you're kidding yourself if you think it's not a big match and no one wants it.

  3. Bruce is meant to be recording with Conrad tomorrow, as has been said doubt he'll say much as they "don't discuss current stuff" but may be a slight soundbite.

Bischoffs talked about it a fair bit, both were just saying how sickening it is etc, both he and Conrad didn't come across too bad to be fair.

Always listen to Jarretts on my Saturday morning walk so will see what he has to say tomorrow, can't imagine Jarrett going much further than Bischoff.

  4. Poor fucker.

There'll be his haters revelling in this obviously, and we know who they'll be when they get here, but the fact he was probably going to win the World Title and main event night one of Wrestlemania it is a shame.

I would imagine this promotes the Women to main event night 1, probably Rhea vs Lynch.

Fuck knows what happens with Rollins now, maybe they do pivot to Gunther, can't see much more of an interesting World Title match

  5. Punk could find the cure for cancer and still be criticised by some for it.

It's crazy what a polarising bloke he is, but to the extreme.

People that don't like him will hate everything he does and analyse it to the extent that even good things he does are bad and he's a horrible person, even making out he's a sex pest ffs.

Then on the other side of the coin you have people who love him and everything he does is the best thing ever with pure intentions and he's the best bloke alive. Crying for weeks on end when he returns, and probably even more when he does something nice.

The actual truth, as often in these cases with the bloke is somewhere in thr middle, despite everything he says he clearly wants to be liked, and he does do some good stuff. Cora wil be made up with that regardless of why he did it.

The gift cards are a little odd but goes back to wanting to be liked and those that received them I'm sure really appreciated them.

  6. First time I've properly noticed the low crowd's taking away from the show this week.

Joe's promo segment at the start literally felt like I was back in TNA at the sound stage, it was just obvious when the crowd reacted there wasn't many people there. They were also so quiet during most the matches.

It was a decent enough show, not as good as the last few weeks but good, but the crowd thing is definitely an issue now.

  7. Well no, if we just go with the logos it hasn't been referred to as Monday Night Raw ever.

But generally in press releases they always refer to it as Monday Night Raw, I'd you go on WWE.com when you look at tickets they refer to the show as Monday Night Raw.

Anyway, might be nothing and they may just be keeping all cards on the table, but it definitely is referred to it generally as Monday Night, and isn't in Netflix release so theres potential it could move.

  8. I mean, the archive stil exists obviously and its all there, so you'd assume stuff thats all on the network won't disappear.

I don't really watch much current day stuff these days but I do go back and watch a lot of the archive stuff, currently working through 2002. So I'm hoping it either all ends up on Netflix like peacock in the US,  or they just keep it on the network.

If it just disappeared I'd be devastated

  9. Sounds like Rollins injury isn't good.

Whatever you think of him (I personally like him) for a professional to get injured at the biggest time of the year for WWE and its talent, and especially when he is/was going to main event WrestleMania, its gutting and can't help but feel sorry for him.

Last time he was champ he had to vacate through injury as well.

Obviously not sure how serious it is yet and the length of time, but the sheets are starting to report it isn't looking good.

Proper throws a spanner in the works mind, could be a fun few months

  10. Decent enough show, was interested in the rebrand etc so checked it out. Will stick with a couple of impacts and see how it goes.

Dana Brooke seemingly ripping off Toni Storm with her new character is a proper miss though like, what are they thinking. Toni Storm is one of the best things in wrestling, to try and cosplay it will be shit

  11. Wish I could see all these great promos by just watching the weekly shows and not having to seek out the AEW twitter page for the "exclusive".

I know they show snippets on the show sometimes, but not the full ones and some not at all. You shouldn't have to seek out Twitter to be able to see good promos, get them on the bloody weekly shows, you've got enough hours!

Like since Full Gear, two of the biggest matches involved Swerve and Jay White, and if you only watch the TV shows since, you've pretty much heard nothing whatsoever from Jay White and about 30 seconds of Swerve. Yet Swerve is delivering gold if you seek out Twitter.

    It's so frustrating.

  12. It is/definitely was meant to be Adam Cole, AEW are really clever at showing you things in plain sight that "you're not meant to notice" when telling stories, and there's been so many pointing to it being Cole.

I think they may possibly jave changed their mind, maybe his injury is worse than they thought, and that's why it's dragging out. Cole, Wardlow and The Kingdom makes sense being under the masks with everything that has happened last few months.

I imagine thr reveal will be at Worlds End so we only have a couple weeks to wait but it has to be Cole for me, otherwise its shit.

  13. So many of those smart fan faves from the 2017-2020 era of WWE have been brutally exposed by leaving for AEW. The grass wasn't greener and they just aren't very good. Miro, Aleistar Black, Buddy Murphy, Andrade, even Ruby Riott to an extent.

Aside from Riott all tipped for superstardom and criminally underused according to the IWC, nah they're just shit.

  14. All signs seem to be hinting that Jack Perry is going to be the Devil then.

Would be absolutely dreadful if that is the reveal, it makes so much more sense that its Adam Cole and would complete the MJF/Cole arc so well, if it isn't Cole then I'm convinced they've changed mid way through as there was so much pointing towards it being him that if it isn't I can only assume his injury is worse than suspected and they've pivoted to Perry.

  15. RUSH is such a wanker man, he was up arguing with the ref before Moxley had even got up ffs, just been "choked out" then straight up like that. Such an unprofessional twat. He won't, but Tony needs to get a hold of him like, it's shit like that thst spawns the behaviour of Perry and Punk and all that bollocks, people in business for themselves and no discipline.

  16. 8 hours ago, Supremo said:

Whew! Between those Kingston and Danielson promos, and then these? It’s almost like they had a point to prove after someone shat the bed with their promo on Monday night.

Why aren't these on Dynamite?! Or Collision, or even Rampage! They're great and I get AEW definitely appeals more to the IWC, but man actually showing these on your TV would make the product fo much better and more accessible for people who don't follow everyone on Twitter.

  17. Yeah was going to say, if you're filming yourself then any reaction you have is going to be in part staged because you're aware of it. It's all bollocks and so ungenuine, just doing it for attention and the tik tok likes etc. Pretty much encapsulates so much of what I hate about this current generation.

  18. Thankfully watched the show live, but would have had it spoilt by the WWE Network and bloody BBC News of all things.

On the Network when you click down to the show in trending now to find the kick off show (I always like to watch these jjst for the build up as I don't keep up with the TVs much) they've added a reel underneath titled CM Punk Best In The World which you can't help but see.

Anyway, great to see CM Punk back, the amount of publicity this return has got and everyone talking about it shows why it's a good choice. I predict he'll be absolutely fine in WWE, behaviour wise, it's not the wild West like AEW.

I'll be watching RAW tomororw for the first time in a while, excited to hear what he has to say, hopefully he isn't interrupted by the Judgment Day within 30 seconds. There's a lot of matches of his I'll be interested in seeing and whilst it won't be enough to make me watch RAW and Smackdown religiously I will be seeking out his segments and watching the PPvs as I always do.

Him vs Rollins appears to be the match, wonder whether they'll save it for WrestleMania or do it at the Rumble then rematch at WrestleMania, got to imagine he'll take the belf off him. Interesting times ahead.
