  1. "We're getting Arab Money!", TBOGT is worth it just for that one scene. Both are very enjoyable and the best thing is the new bike physics which make them a dream to ride.

  2. You're all wrong, Ronnie James Dio IS Metal.

Honestly though, i has to be Metallica even though i personally don't care for the majority of their output (their style of metal generally isn't my cup of tea) but they are the biggest and most well known. Sabbath are a close 2nd though and for me the ultimate big metal band in regards of my musical taste, both Ozzy and Dio eras.

  3. Kill 'em All is horribly over looked it seems, it was a fun ballsy thrash/speed metal album that didn't have as much of the poncing about and technical wizardry of the other pre-Black Albums LP's and personally i think it's all the better for it.

  4. Been thinking about picking up a 2nd hand Dreamcast and PS2 for my new house.

Anyone use either of them on new HDTVs? I'm not expecting it to look fantastic but I just wondered if it's worth it or not? Will it be offputting?

If you can somehow set up the Dreamcast through a VGA box to the TV then it'll look pretty good in 480p, there is also an awkward way to play it upscaled to 1080p.

  5. Sasha might not be able to act too well but i've actually enjoyed some of the music she's made, it's never going to get noticed in the mainstream though because it's more Throbbing Gristle than Lady Gaga. The lucky bint got to work with David Tibet as well, she seems like a genuinely cool lass.

  6. The John Talabot and new Grimes albums are both very good. In fact I'd say Grimes is the best album I've heard in 2012 thus far. I might have to go and see her in Manchester in May

I'm tempted to see her myself in Bristol, i have another amazing female artist to see on the 30th of this month called "Grouper".

  7. I actually prefer 'Loner' off the new Burial EP. Either way, it's the best release of the year by far. it's been a poor start to the year overall musically, no classic album (you could make a case for Alcest but for me it's merely good).

I'm a little out the loop on the house and techno front at the minute though so I daresay once I catch up on that there'll be some gems, I did enjoy the new Todd Terje EP, and I think the John Talabot album will be perfect for the summer when I get to know it a bit more.

Alcest's new album is still a million miles away from Souvenirs', it just doesn't grip you like that did back in 07. I'd say Les Discrets put out the better album again if i'm honest.

is the song of the day though, sweet poppy synths with the most adorable young lady, i'd so marry her.
