VirtuosoRusty
"I quote " There were dozens of grown men actually crying... i couldnt believe how special those fans are, and how much they believe in the company "Dozen being twelve. Dozens meaning more than one. Meaning that this meant there were a minimum of 24 grown men actually crying.Bollocks. Unless 3CW shipped in people from a local mental institution to boost numbers. And my guesses for the mystery investors are as follows:-1) Charles Buchan2) Kriss SprulesYou all owe me
gribbo2001
Right that's it! Enough of this fucking self indulgant bullshit! I'm gunna stop biting my tongue and rant! Â 1...PW is a fucking joke and a cancer on British Wrestling. The overpaying of the imports and the saturation of the market has led to visiting foreign stars no longer being enough to warrant decent sales at other shows whilst the cost of using said foreign talent goes up! Therefore 1PW's selfish, self serving attitude is fucking the british scene! Â 2. An investor? You expect us to believe that a proffesional with money saw a guy remortgage his own fucking house and pour the fucking lot into a pro wrestling company only to see it crash and burn yet still thought 'oooh i'll be having some of that!' FUCK RIGHT OFF! Â 3. You owe every single person who bought a ticket to NBT a refund in accordance with the goods and sales act. Â 4. With the relationship between Aisu and Gauntley's family who's to say that Gauntley wasn't running the 3CW show under their banner and taking the money. Maybe the outpouring of support *cough fanboy money cough* has given you enough to run another show .... maybe! Â 5. Tryin to be the British Paul Heyman is so very sad and pathetic. Heyman built a company from nothing into a phenomenon and even with his genius could not get it work. You pour everything you have into a company and jump in at the top end still kill it. If anything you're Eric f'n Bischoff and nothing better than a fucking money mark. Â 6. And this is the most important one ... there were grown men cying over a fucking wrestling show and now i'm so fucking embarrased to be a wrestling fan! If the fucking mongs, emos, freaks, geeks and tards that frequent shows weren't bad enough now there are actual grown men crying about the end of the company! I'm dissapointed over the upcoming death of the FWA but wont shed any tears! Bloody Hell I'm actually genuinly fucked off by that statement! And the whole you can never hurt us bullshit ... seriously fuck off and die! Theres little else to be said! You've made the british scene a laughing stock to TNA and Japan! Thankyou Steven indeed! Wrestling's two biggest industries! You fucking genius well fucking done! Who you gunna make the scene look a cunt to next? Oh wait theres no-one left and we're all fucked! Wonderful! Paid Members DJ Kris Posted January 17, 2007 Paid Members Share Posted January 17, 2007 MOJ: 1PW owe shit loads of money and will go bust leaving fans out of pocket1PW: BullshitMOJ: You've been warned1PW: We are in liquidation effective immidately, so the show in a few days in cancelled1PW: We're not in liquidation, your tears saved up, etc, etcAnyone other than the 1PW "You're all haters" fanboys see a pattern here?I know a lot of guys who love working for 1PW, but the tone of Gauntley's recent statments already sets off alarm bells as to whether he's learned from his mistakes. who has damaged wrestling in this country, which is something I care about, so excuse me for caring.Bollocks.How is British wrestling damaged? Yeah it might fuck up imports, but other than that how does it affect the various long running promotions who dont really use them anyway? The thing is, it doesn't matter that companies like WAW, etc don't use imports, there are companies such a IPW:UK that do. Fortunately RQW may have smoothed that one over, but the fact that this was Muta's first trip over here and the business end went so badly before hand it reflected badly. The Japanese press were saying things along the lines of "Britain not being safe" rather than distinguishing between British wrestling as a whole and 1PW.Me and JDD went over this one a week or so back. I know but he seemed to have completely missed that point, so I repeated it. I'm sure there plenty on here who'd prefer people read the thread before commenting, but sadly they don't, which is why we need to invite Dougal to join. Lee
4. With the relationship between Aisu and Gauntley's family who's to say that Gauntley wasn't running the 3CW show under their banner and taking the money. Maybe the outpouring of support *cough fanboy money cough* has given you enough to run another show .... maybe!I'm not sure what this relationship is supposed to be (I know on the RIM forum it was alleged Aisu was close with Gauntley's daughter but I know that hasn't been the case for several months now and I don't believe they talk at all anymore), and I also know Gauntley definitely wasn't running the show on Saturday and isn't involved with the management of 3CW. As I understand it, Gauntley was not wanted at the show and had agreed to stay away from the backstage area. With that said, he did end up backstage and was asked to leave altogether before the show would continue. He was back again post-show though I don't know why.Aisu was simply looking to save the show for the fans (and of course to help get the 3CW name out in the precess) and was one of the people to ask Gauntley to leave the Dome when he (Gauntley) broke his word, and all these 'conspiracy theories' being presented as fact about supposed relationships and shady dealings are complete bullshit. I now understand what wrestlers really mean when they talk about hearsay rumours getting passed off as fact on the Internet just because one fan decided something was true and the rest of the 'smarks' chose to believe it because it made for a nice, juicy talking point. And workers dont forget. Spud cried like a kid, and while Burridge he didnt seem far off either.Given that he made mention of his late grandfather, I'm not surprised he cried. This does look a bit wrong though , surely you can acknowledge that? I mean a couple of day's after the show Gauntley has suddenly found some money from somewhere and could be back in buisness. Yes there has been somewhat of a bandwagon used but the event's do point to shady going on from an outsider's point of view.
bobbins
Sure they can be classed as bad businessmen, but the way they get treated you'd think they were akin to Ian Huntley or something. The judge was very lenient with Huntley, giving him life imprisonment instead of the harsher punishment of being the recipient of some strongly-worded message board posts. Philjax
Has anyone got a picture of Gauntley (and no, not a pic of a tramp in the street smoking crack), a real picture, you know, just in case i get the opportinity one day?
