Loki Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 It was barely even contact, even if Hopkins hadn't been wearing a cup it wouldn't have had him doubled over in pain for 3 or 4 minutes. And it's not as if Hopkins didn't sneak a few low blows and headbutts in out of sight of the ref.But that's Hopkins. If you're going to fight him, you can expect him to do stuff like that; on the flip side he can't compain if it doesn't win him fans amongst the judges. Guzman was originally scheduled to come over here to fight Scot Harrison about 2 years ago. This Arthur fight has been on the books for a long time. Inkin pulled out of the original March 29th date after being laid low by a virus. Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy has worked around the clock to bring in a world-ranked replacement for the May 10th bill in Nottingham and is set to achieve exactly that by finalising negotiations with former IBF champion Alejandro Berrio.The Colombian banger is well noted for his punching power with all but one of his 26 victories coming by way of knockout. Im glad Froch was finally shown on ITV now I hope the possible Kessler fight can be arranged. Shame that Froch didn't do this sooner because he has no chance of fighting Calzaghe now.
