I called everything, had a good night. Apart from the opening promo when Vince & Shane appeared with a baby - thought Vince would come out later and retire. Well disappointed.Called Benoit's win and Eddie's boot trick ending. Suck on that jabronies.

Just read this on wwe.comBrock Lesnar has made a personal decision to put his WWE career on hold to prepare to tryout for the National Football League this season. Brock has wrestled his entire professional career in the WWE and we are proud of his accomplishments and wish him the best in his new endeavor.Guess its not a work after all then.

He'll be back for Summerslam ;)
2005? ;) Seriously, he won't be back until next year at the least.Even if he doesn't make the football cut, he'll stay away out of pride until at least the next WM.
Japan wouldnt be out of the question for Lesnar either IMHO given his legit background if only to raise his price to Vince ala Goldberg.

Heres an XMW view on things...Cena VS Show- **Wasnt particularly bad, about what I expected from these two. Seems should have been a second-match bout, rather opener.Raw Tag Titles- ** 1/2I knew this would be pretty shit...RVD, Booker and 6 poor wrestlers (sorry guys, but Conway is shit). RVD seemed to ahnialate everyone in this match, clean the place up and win on his own. Which I like, as an RVD mark. But ** 1/2 is the most this can ever get due to the lack of talent involved.Chris Jericho VS Christian- ****Excellent match. I really enjoyed this. I know this was going to be the dark horse going into mania, going by both competitors strong PPV-effort record. 2nd best MOTN, Trish's turn actually surprised me, and she was HOT.Rock N Sock VS Evolution- ***Very entertaining indeed. I'm not a fan of any of these fives in-ring abilities, but the entertainment was there. How much more are they going to push Randy???Playboy Gown- *Would have rather watched Matt Hardy shadow-wrestle...if I want to see women, I'll get some porn, not watch fucking wrestling.Cruiserweight Open- ***Very dissapointing, my own stupid fault for believeing WWE were actually going to give this some time and effort. Poor old Ultimo just wasn't up to it (not just his entrance), they robbed Funaki & Akio of competing. Noble & Nunzio were very good however. Kidmans shooting star was fucking pants. Rey's top rope code red was pretty cool. Chavo stealing a win was obvious. Once again, when you think WWE are going the right way, they put one over you.Goldberg VS Lesnar- ** 1/2I liked the initial crowd reactions- I bet WWE wasn't expecting a very smart crowd tonight. The long staredowns and lock-ups were very good IMO, but then it went downhill. Why didn't they adopt a Japanese style and hit power move after power move, near fall after near fall? Nice gorilla into spinebuster, poor f5, typical jackhammer, ok super neckbreaker...but that was about it move-wise. I was actually glad when Austin stunnered both the fuckers, yes...I marked for Austin. I hate Austin, but it had to be done. Now fuck off Lesnar, fuck off Goldberg.Smackdown Tag Title- * 1/2Once again, the smart fans let WWE how bad a mistake they made with this one. Rikishi & Scottie, doing the same tired routine they were doing 4 YEARS AGO EXACTLY, won with a 'sit on opponant'. Fans were dead and booed like crazy, so they should. Travesty that Haas/Benjamin didn't win.Molly VS Victoria- ***Shame it wasn't given a lot more time, pretty good for a short match. Victoria has come a long way, but they should have given more time on this one.Eddie VS Angle- ****Not quite as good as I expected, but no worse either. Very good match, you can tell Angle is getting closer to retirement, but was still very good. Eddie was solid as per. Not the classic I hoped, but still brilliant.Undertaker VS Kane- *Biggest let-down. It was just BIKER UNDERTAKER IN A FUCKING HAT!!! The entrance was quite good, but WWE done the one thing I didn't think they would do this time- let us down with Taker. He was no different. The match was crap also. Nowhere near the Mania 14 classic.Triple H VS Benoit VS HBK- **** 1/2I don't give out 5* ratings. This match was off the chart, VERY GOOD. MOTY so far, def MOTN. Triple H was brilliant- sold like a friggin trooper (particularly germans & submissions), HBK was excellent as I expected and Benoit just ran with the ball. He was brilliant. Now THATS how you do a triple threat!! Best ever Triple Threat? Prob not. Best ever WWE Triple Threat? Maybe. Slightly better than Eddie/Brock, so it's MOTY thus far. Very moving end with Eddie & Benoit.Overall- ***Poor show. I had neevr been so excited for a PPV, which probably didn't help. The crowd was a LOT smarter than the usual WWE crowd, which made a huge difference. Well, Vince should know that nobody cares about dancing Samoans, women in lingerie and Bikers. I think the WWE will be having a very large meeting this week. With many of their top names left/leaving, and a poor ppv with mostly poor response should really be a reason for them to sit back, and think about how they can make major improvements. This is TNA's chance to cover some ground now, Bound for Glory is looming and could be a lot better product wise. Now is the time for big changes- they already have a headstart with Eddie & Benoit as world champs. Now they should use it to their advantage and join the new era or wrestling. Out with the old, in with the new. Perhaps Edge will help lighten things up a bit. Perhaps RVD may jump to smackdown. They need to push a lot more gu main event status. Then push more guys to mid-card, then sign more guys for lower card etc. They need a whole new shake-up. It's time for change.WWE. Where it all should begin...again.

Woah, thats Mania 20 done and dusted.

Big Show v John Cena

Luckily the fans were super into this, seen as it was the first match. Really terrible and stalled action. Both men need an opponent to carry them and this was just pretty ugly. Fans made it watchable though.

- Seen 'Ukff' and 'Wiggy' sign. What a legend.

Raw Tag title 4 Way

Short and unspectacular, not worthy of being on a mania card. Jindrak and Cade are so green it's not even funny, it is an absolute slap in the face to veterans Storm and Venis to not be in this match when there are 2 really young and inexperienced teams involved. RVD was on form though.

Chris Jericho v Christian

This imo was the finest singles match of Christians career. Both men worked very hard and this was a very solid effort. The Trish turn was very suprising actually, and I loved how her mannerisms completely changed after she slapped Y2J, shes a very good natural heel.

Evolution v Rock n Sock Connection

This was highly entertaining stuff. Foley was in far better shape than I imagined he'd be, Flair was just pure gold, Rock was energetic, Orton shone, and Batista. . .erm was his usual plodding self. Fans were so into Flair it was amazing.

Hall of Fame segment was nice, It was so sad to hear and see Heenan in the condition he was in. He's did so well to fight the cancer but it's really took its toll on him.

Playboy evening gown match

Mercifully kept short, served its purpose and the action wasn't really that bad to be honest.

Cruiserweight Open

Man that was cringeworthy seeing Ultimo stumble like that, he also slipped on the ropes as he posed on the turnbuckle at the start. Some really breathtaking spots, the Infrared (IIRC) from the top rope was astonishing, and Kidman was lucky on the shooting star press. Disapointing that London wasn't in the match :/

Goldberg v Brock Lesnar

I actually enjoyed the action itself at the beginning but unfortunately the fans were determined not to enjoy it. Just really unspectacular and way too short (considering the stalling at the start). The post match stuff sort of confirms that both Lesnar and Goldberg are gone.

The thankyou from Vince was nice

Smackdown Tag 4-Way

Suprisingly a neat match. Some well strung together spots and all parties involved really grafted. No need for the dancing stuff at the end, soooooo 2000.

Molly v Victoria

Decent womens match, I can't believe they shaved her hair though geez. I hope she got a good bonus for doing it.

Kurt Angle v Eddie Guerrero

Just as you'd expect from these two, a terrific match with the right result. I worry that Angles not slowing down and is going to make his neck worse.

Undertaker v Kane

Well first of all, Bearer is fucking more enormous than ever. And I honestly can't believe after all the hype that we get what is basically the american bad ass, with longer hair, and some deadman mannerisms. It was incredibly disapointing to see him in his usual garb and ruined the 'Dead Man' character's momentum going in. The action itself was better than expected and Taker was a bit more swifter than usual.

HHH v Benoit v HBK

I wasn't particularly excited for this match, mainly because I didn't expect Benoit to win but it was a more than worthy main event. Benoit was massively over, HHH not only put in a great performance but had the coolest looking wrestling boots I've ever seen, and HBK bladed hard (for a change ;) ). In all seriousness this was a superb match, and because the decision wasn't obvious it made for dramatic viewing.

Having Guerrero come out was an excellent touch and seeing those two hold the WWE titles gave me goosebumps and was visibly an emotional moment for both men. All credit to Vince for giving these guys a chance.

Dude i never said it was a five star match but thats irrelevant here. What made it a classic for me was precisely the reason I just gave. It engrossed me more than the vast majority of matches, it made me feel what was happening like I was watching a legitimate sport, and it suspended my disbelief.Sure the matches you may see in the indies will be TECHNICALLY better but the vast majority are missing the rollercoaster of emotion I was on tonight.Sorry if you don't agree with me man but that's the beauty of the human mind. No two think the same.

Very true indeed my friend.I never said you said it was *****. I was referring to whoever said it was (some reporter dude) still if you enjoyed it good for you :D Glad ya did :)To add a little more. Taker was a HUGE let down for me. He is just the same just he has a gay tongue licking fetish and longer hair :p (just as good eh?) Brock Vs Bill was very emotional IMO enjoyed it a lot. Would have liked to see Yang with the Cruser match. Shame he didn

I see Brock going to Japan, not the NFL. Smell the ratings...Brock VS Sapp!!!Perhaps TNA can go all out and sign Goldberg AND Brock for Bound for Glory! That might just elevate TNA enough to compete with Vince. I hope so. WWE really needs a big rival right now. It feels like 1995 all over.

Aghhhh. WrestleMania sucked big time, dont get me wrong I enjoyed parts of it, but its hardly gona win any fans back and they fucked it up, where was Heyman? Coach never did find taker, and it was too hyped up.No surprises and it all begins again? Urmm No, its the same, Too Cool are tag champs, Booker/RVD retain, I dont see how it all begins again, to me it stays the fucking same. The most over hyped show ever.

I think the tag line is in reference to the fact that they now have two pure wrestlers as world champions. The brilliant embrace as they went off air supports that theory I feel.

Lets not start this 'everyone hated it' crap. You might be disappointed by it, but don't speak for the majority please, by making blanket statements.Just saw the first feedback stuff on the Torch and Observer sites and about 95% of it was thumbs up.Not that those two things are indicative of 'everyone' either, butI've still seen far more people praising it than panning it.Including our Dean Ayass, who thought it was one of the best WM's he'd ever seen.

Fair points man but you shouldn't invest so much in what other people think. Just be happy in the knowledge that you enjoyed the event, and if others didn't then that's their problem not yours.
