Moicano vs Nolan might be alright. I guess. But whatever. It wasnāt even supposed to happen. This was just cobbled together and thrown on this card because Brian Ortega dropped out of the planned Moicano rematch at UFC 331 in September. Nolanās OK but doesnāt feel like a headliner at this stage, even for the bottom tier Apex shows. The rest? Donāt even know if Randy Brown is staying on the card after his opponent dropped out. Thereās nothing else there to work with. Erm.Ā The two Santoses - Yana and Luana - arenāt related. Itās not a sister vs sister family feud or anything. Maybe Lucia Szabova will be worth a look? Sheās 10-0 and was a two-weight champion at Flyweight and Bantamweight in Oktagon. Oddly, the bottom four prelims look better than most of the main card to me. Looks like a proper low budget, local type of show.Ā Just was browsing Randy Browns Wiki, and shocked to see hes been in there with quite a few big (ish) names over the years. Must have been seen as a decent prospect around the 2015 time. Didn't pan out for him though really did it. Speaking of names, one of his last fights was against Wellington Turmon. Cracking name! Seems like a massive chunk of the fanbase now arenāt even actual fans of MMA, they just wanna bet on fights. So theyāre like pigs in shit as long as thereās a show on every Saturday night. The quality doesnāt matter to them and you get called a ācasualā if you say a weak card is a weak card. Quote

Bit of a much needed boost to the card that, more interesting than the original Brown vs Carlos Leal fight in my opinion and a decent step up for Smith.Ā Quote
