First off, I love Allen vs Costa as a main event. Big fan of Arnold Allen and Costa’s been consistently fun to watch for as long as I remember seeing him. And he’s been on a bit of a tear for a while now. He deserves a bit of a push and a main event spot. Even if it is just at the Apex. That poster though. Costa’s legitimately probably the most colourful fighter on the whole roster so the first time he gets on a poster they make it black and white? I know it’s not important really but they could’ve done something cool with him and instead we get this grey shite. Below the main event, Jesus Christ, this one drops off a cliff. Superboy vs Santos should be entertaining. Wellmaker is back, he’s always worth watching. That’s seriously about it. Even by Apex standards, this feels poor. If not for the headliner I might have it as the thinnest UFC card ever. There’s probably been something worse but there really isn’t anything below Allen vs Costa to sink your teeth into or to really go out of your way to see. Dai Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Was an enjoyable watch, for the most part. Allen got tested in this one, but came through it, and his superior standup was the difference in the end. He looks very sharp in this one. Gif of the show has to be that body shot by Superboy. What a beauty! All the rest was good, and forgettable. I would request a gif of someone doing an 8 punch combo, but cant remember who did it, or in what round, so not much info to go on for that! Quote
