Definitely salty McGregor fans who haven’t got over last year. I love the way they think if you’re a nice guy that means you can never get pissed off at anyone. Chandler was being a dirty cunt with the fishhooking but Poirier is supposed to just hug and fist bump as if Chandler wasn’t just cheating like fuck? Similar with the McGregor thing last year. McGregor and his fans bombarded Poirier with shit going into that third fight, Poirier retaliates and that means he’s suddenly the bad guy in that scenario? Get the fuck out. Not saying he’s an angel but I don’t get why so many fans seem to hold him to a higher standard than they do other fighters. So many fighters carry on like total bellends and fans lap it up and call them cool or, the worst, a ‘gangsta’. Yet Poirier has a pop back after someone’s cheated or been a dick and it’s suddenly not on?
