SaitoRyo Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 I think 2009 was the last time I properly cared about WWE. As stated previously, the roster was as strong as ever. I remember Rey Mysterio, in particular, having an absolute belter of a year and putting on great matches with Jericho, Ziggler, Morrison and everyone else. WrestleMania was a bit of a letdown overall but it had HBK/Taker and Ricky Steamboat's return on it, so it wasn't all bad. The DX reunion definitely wasn't my cup of tea but Jeff Hardy and CM Punk had a lovely feud and Batista, Cena and Orton were all firing that year. Underneath there was a lot of midcarders who were threatening to break through like Drew, Sheamus, Kofi, Miz and Cody/Ted. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
