Do I know any French? Not really. Am I worried about not getting it and falling behind and failing. Yes, absolutely. Any advice from anyone who has learned French or the best ways to properly start. I've downloaded Busuu and doing lessons daily through that before I start in September. Trying to think about the best way to make notes. I think I'm just over worrying as per. Best way to learn is to immerse yourself - you will be shocked at how quickly you progress. But in the meantime, use apps like Duolingo, go to French-language groups/events on Meetup, and watch French stuff on TV. Don't worry about being overwhelmed or missing anything; if you just let it flow over you, you'll pick it up faster than you realise. Quote
