Fog Dude
The results went into the opening post on Sunday night, and the latest table was uploaded shortly afterwards. We have a new leader, as TildeGuy goes top by virtue of being the best performer this time out. In a high-scoring round, there was no outright lowest scorer among those who made their picks on time, but Seph bet late and was lucky to avoid a points deduction as this was almost his D2D week. As it is, he salvaged 4 points and remains behind TUFCfan, who is in turn a whopping 18 points adrift of the next regular participant.  Expected away wins for Liverpool, Saints, Man Utd, Chelsea, Barça and Real Madrid all yielded loads of points, dragging more than half the field to at least 9 points, and indeed 8 players into double figures. Of those eminently foreseeable victories, only the margin of victory at the Liberty Stadium proved too great to guess beforehand. It was just left to the Gunners to throw a spanner in the works, as Man City's lacklustre reverse to their visitors caught a lot of people out.  Elsewhere, important triumphs on the road for Palace and Stoke were a mixed bag, whilst Bilbao's undoing in the Spanish Potteries was fruitful for most, generally being good for a point.  New set of 10 coming up in a bit, including that D2D I put back to next week at the last moment...
